    Hi Rikard,

    it was strange – the issue occured only sometimes in Chrome when the cache was cleared. I deactivated all plugins, issue still occured sometimes and sometimes not:-?
    I canceled the layer slider and used the fullwidth instead – there was no need for layer slider, so thx anyway issue can be closed.

    Can a column that sits on top of a colour section be made to move below the colour section on mobile only?

    The column is filled with a solid colour and text. The colour section has a background photo. On desktop it looks great, with the photo showing and the column of text covering only a portion on the right side of the photo. On mobile, however, the column of text covers almost the entire photo.

    If we could move the column below the photo, the photo could be seen on mobile.

    Hi Rikard,

    Thank you. I can send you a screen dump if it helps, but I need an email address og way of uploading the images/docs.
    What happens is:
    I go to
    General styling
    I click on the appropriate color template
    I click “save all changes” (either top button or down button – same result
    and the error occurs reading “Saving didn’t work! Please reload and try again”

    The colour template looks highlighted after the message comes, however, when moving on to other pages/items, the template is lost

    This happens every time. I have not been able to choose any template yet..
    All the best, Mariann

    yes but i suppose that then the av-masonry-entry is not the right selector too.
    What kind of element do you use?
    Inspect your page with developer tools and have a look what class the link itself has – on masonry it is av-masonry-entry.

    On Portfolio Grid – you had choosen the Option : !Open a preview of the entry (known as AJAX Portfolio)” these are totaly different settings. Choose “Open in lightbox” then we can talk about mixed content.
    The custom link could be done on the portfolio page itself – via “Additional Portfolio Settings” !

    etc. Each of those elements need an own solution. – sometimes there had to be a preventDefault or a stopPropagation of the existing event.

    In reply to: MEGA MENU COLUMNS

    Hi Rikard
    Firstly, thank you for your assistance. I now have another question – not sure if I should start a new thread. My Mega Menu is big which is fine for a laptop or desktop but on a mobile, it is a lot of items. Is there a way that I can bold the headings of the Mega Menu so that on the mobile you can differentiate between the headings and the actual product pages?

    Hi – when in insert a code block with my own code, I am getting a bunch of wrapper tags automatically generated by Enfold.

    In my instance I am trying to make my video with this styling: width: 100%; height: 100% and object-fit:cover.
    However with the wrapper tags from Enfold, this messes all this up.

    How can I disable the automatic wrapping?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    Please include this css code to adjust the arrows and the alignment of the caption text:

    #top .av-slideshow-ui .avia-slideshow-arrows a.prev-slide {
        left: 0;
    }

    #top .av-slideshow-ui .avia-slideshow-arrows a.next-slide {

    Question: Does Enfold automatically serve smaller file versions of images on mobile, while serving the larger file versions of images on desktop?

    If no, then what is the best practice for this to support excellence Page Speed?

    Hello, i have a problem with layer slider, error message in frontend – disappears when i refresh the site and layer slider works:

    It looks like that another plugin or your theme loads an extra copy of the jquery library causing problems for LayerSlider to show yours sliders.
    Please navigate from your WordPress admin sidebar to LayerSlider -> Options -> Advanced and enable the “include scripts in the footer” option.

    Problem is it´s already enabled;
    “This setting is enforced by Enfold to maximize compatibility with your site.”

    Thanks for suggestions.
    Please let me know if you need WP credentials.

    Hi, i also have the burger/mobile menu active in the desktop version. I would like to insert a skip to navigation link for accessibility. With WP Accesibility. Here there is the option “Skip to Navigation link target”. I have tried it with this ID: #av-burger-menu-ul, but the menu does not open. It also doesn’t open when I just tab through the page with the keyboard. Is there a setting for this or is this not intended for the burger menu?

    Thanks, Christian

    I didn’t get any errors as reported in this thread but I updated WordPress to 6.7.1 and Enfold to 6.0.8 today, the latter of which contains a fix for the problem reported.

    My Updates page is saying “New translations are available”. When I click Update Translations I get this message:

    Updating translations for WordPress (en_GB)…
    Translation updated successfully.

    But when I return to the Updates page it is still saying “New translations are available”. If I click again to update, the same thing happens as above.
    In other words, the translation is not apparently being updated – or is the message just not updating? My Site Language is set to English (UK).

    Any ideas? Is the problem resolved?

    am besten wäre, wenn alle Bilder die gleichen Größen haben!

    damit das Bild nicht die folgenden Einstellungen bei großen Screenweiten macht, wäre eine Anpassung des media-query nötig.
    (Die Grenze hängt davon ab, wann das Bild beginnt auf die kleiner Screenweite zu reagieren – das hängt von den Bilddimensionen ab und dem min-height Wert)

    (Das kann man aber auch gut empirisch herausfinden diese Grenze, indem man das Ganze zunächst testet mit einem negativen rechts wert ( right: -80px) und ohne das media-query einsetzt und den Screen solange zusammenschiebt, bis links keine Lücke mehr ist. Diese Breite überträgt man dann als media query Grenze.)

    teste mal bitte:

    @media only screen and (max-width:1405px) {
      #top .avia-fullwidth-slider .avia-slideshow li img {
        position: absolute;
        left: unset !important;
        top: 0 !important;
        right: -20px !important;
      }

      #top .avia-fullwidth-slider .avia-slideshow li {
      overflow: visible !important;
      height: inherit !important;
      }

      #top .avia-fullwidth-slider .avia-slide-wrap {
        width: 100% !important;
        height: 100% !important;
      }
    }

    die custom-class befände sich am avia-fullwidth-slider

    solltest Du mehrere Bilder unterschiedlich positionieren müssen musst du für jede li gesondert die Positionen setzen li.slide-1; li.slide-2 etc. – also
    zusätzlich :

    #top .avia-fullwidth-slider .avia-slideshow li.slide-1 img {
        right: 0 !important;
    }

    #top .avia-fullwidth-slider .avia-slideshow li.slide-2 img {
        right: -50px !important;

    Hallo Support,

    DE:Wie kann ich verschiedene Bilder für Desktop und Smartphone-Portrait-Format in ENDFOLD angeben?

    EN: How can I specify different images for desktop and smartphone portrait format in ENDFOLD?

    DE: Ich hatte diesen Ansatz von 2019 gefunden, ist das noch aktuell?
    EN: I found this approach from 2019, is it still up to date?

    @media only screen and (max-width: 479px) {
    .avia-image-container .avia_image {
    margin-left: -9%;
    margin-right: -9%;
    width: 120%;
    max-width: 120%;
    }
    }

    Hier ein Beispiel, wo das Problem sichtbar wird.
    Es geht um das große Foto zu Beginn der Seite. In Mobile-Portrait-Format ist die Dame nicht sichtbar.
    Meine Lösungsidee wäre für diese mobile Ansicht ein Bild zu erstellen, wo die Dame in der Mitte steht.

    Here is an example where the problem becomes visible. It’s about the large photo at the top of the page. The lady is not visible in mobile portrait format.
    My solution idea would be to create an image for this mobile view where the lady is in the middle.

    Many thanks in advance

    Hi,

    Did you try the css code above?

    #top #main #footer-page ul.avia-icon-list.av-iconlist-small li:before {
        background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/ProfoundPlanning_Stacked_White.png);

    Hey bdfuel,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    You can manually add the html using a Text or Code block element. Example:

    <div class="avia-author-book-container avia-column-gap-no">
    <div class="avia-column avia-col-50 avia-top-column avia-element avia-element-1fbc302" data-id="1fbc302" data-element_type="column">
    <div class="avia-widget-wrap avia-element-populated">

    <div class="avia-widget-container">
    <div class="jet-listing jet-listing-dynamic-image">
                            <a href="https://demo.crocoblock.com/v2/only-books/book-authors/adiva-geffen/" class="jet-listing-dynamic-image__link">

    </div>

                                <span class="jet-listing-dynamic-link__label">Adiva Geffen</span>
                            </a></h4>
    </div>
    </div>
    <div class="avia-element avia-element-5b03505 avia-widget avia-widget-heading" data-id="5b03505" data-element_type="widget" data-widget_type="heading.default">

    </div>
    </div>
    </div>
    </div>

    Then add this css code:

    .avia-author-book-container {
        display: flex;
        flex-wrap: wrap;
    }

    .avia-column.av-ia-col-50 {
        width: 50%;
        padding: 10px; /* Adjust the padding as needed */
    }

    .avia-widget-wrap {
        display: flex;
        flex-direction: column;
    }

    @media (max-width: 768px) {
        .avia-column.av-ia-col-50 {
            width: 100%; /* Stack columns on smaller screens */
        }
    }

    You can use the 1/4 Column element for each author.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hey Tanja,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Try to use this css code instead:

    #top #wrap_all .header_color #menu-item-548 > a .avia-menu-text {
        background-color: red;
        color: blue;
        border-color: black;
    }

    I need to change the colour of the menu item button that appears beside the burger menu in the header to #BE4E02.

    I tested with Custom CSS:

    #top #header_main #menu-item-548 a {
    color: white;
    }

    But that changed the space behind the button to white.

    I tried:

    #top #header_main #menu-item-548 a {
    color: white;
    }

    But that didn’t change anything.

    You are welcome

    PS: if you correct the height to 195px :

    #top #header .menu-item-mega-parent:hover .avia_mega_div {
        height: 195px !important;
        opacity: 1 !important;
        transition: all .7s ease !important;
    }

    the ugly bottom is gone on mega-div – or you decide to have a transparent background for the sub-menus

    #top #wrap_all .avia_mega_div ul {
        background-color: transparent !important;
    }

    if you decide to have less height – you can get rid of backdrop-filter setting – because the sub-menus have a white background on your setting.

    #1472923

    In reply to: MEGA MENU COLUMNS

    if you got the newest Enfold – you can set the mega menu as display fixed:

    #top #header .avia_mega_div {
    	position: fixed !important;
    	width: 95vw;
    	top: var(--enfold-header-height);
    	left: 2vw !important;
    	right: 3vw !important;
    }

    if you got a non shrinking header you can do that too for even older enfold versions – but you had to insert your header-height as top value.

    see example : https://basis.webers-testseite.de/

    Thanks for your response. I don’t want to block all bots. Basically, I want to tell Google to use the meta description generated by the Yoast plugin not the WordPress excerpt. Right now, Google sees the post excerpt AND the meta description entered into the meta description field in the Yoast plugin section of the backend of the post as a meta description. So it reads TWO meta descriptions. This is what I am trying to do: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-remove-theme-generated-meta-description-from-the-website/

    Guenni007,

    Thank you so much! I NEVER would’ve gotten there on my own — I can hack together some basic CSS, but I was getting overwhelmed on this one. Following is what I used based on your recommendations to modify the navigation and to give the links the nice “ease-in” effect, in case someone else needs a similar solution.

    /* === makes mega-menu drop down nav full width === */

    #top #header .avia_mega_div {
     position: fixed !important;
     width: 100vw !important;
     height: 0px;
     left: 0px !important;
     right: 0px !important;
     top: 120px !important;
     background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0.8) !important;
     backdrop-filter: blur(8px);
     border-radius: 0 !important;
     border: 1px solid #ffffff !important;
     opacity: 0 !important;
     display: block !important;
     transition: all 0.7s ease
    }

    #top #header .menu-item-mega-parent:hover .avia_mega_div {
     height: 220px !important;
     opacity: 1 !important;
     transition: all 0.7s ease !important
    }

    #top #header .avia_mega_div .menu-item {
     opacity: 0;
     position: relative;
     transform: translateY(-120%);
     transition: transform 0.3s cubic-bezier(.68,-0.55,.27,1.55) 0.3s, opacity 0.3s ease ;
    }

    #top #header .menu-item-mega-parent:hover .avia_mega_div .menu-item {
     opacity: 1;
     transform: none;
     transition: transform 0.3s cubic-bezier(.68,-0.55,.27,1.55) 0.3s, opacity 0.3s ease ;
    }

    @media (min-width: 990px) {
    #top #header .avia_mega_div > .sub-menu {
    padding: 15px 240px 15px 120px !important;
    }
    }

    @media (max-width: 989px) {
    #top #header .avia_mega_div > .sub-menu {
    padding: 15px 160px 15px 80px !important;
    }
    }

    I really do appreciate the help!!!

    Oh wow, thank you. Downloading your footer.php again and uploading it to the child theme worked immediately – for pages and for posts! Maybe I had made a careless mistake before?! Now I’m happy, because this award was the last gamestopper in the struggle for accessibility. The rest is now pure diligence.

    Hi,

    Just one thing which I want to change: I want the icon on the right side.

    To move the icon to the right, please update the css code with this:

    #top .av-slideshow-caption.av-jqqjz4n5-fe3605ba570a187c18a9e721a6eef45d__0 .avia-slideshow-button:before {
        display: block;
        width: 10px;
        height: 10px;
        position: absolute;
        right: 12px;
        top: 15px;
        content: '';
        font-family: 'entypo-fontello';
    }

    #top .av-slideshow-caption.av-jqqjz4n5-fe3605ba570a187c18a9e721a6eef45d__0 .avia-slideshow-button {
        padding-right: 30px;
    }

    Hi,

    But: Where do I enter “a custom class to the masonry : mixed-contenttype”

    Try adding the custom class in the Advanced > Developer Settings > Custom CSS Class field.

    declare “custom-links to those images ( video or website urls)”?

    When selecting images for the Masonry Gallery in the Media > Library, there should be a Custom Link field, right on top of the Copyright field. Please check the screenshot in the private field.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    it is not only the double button – you can insert on caption for example this:
    ( just style it on the page bottom – copy that enfold button shortcode and insert it on captions field )

    As you can see on that second image – not all of the code is needed. This is the main you need for a button – change size and position to your need and maybe remove icon_hover attribute. maybe set a custom class or ID. How to get the icon codes ? … ask.

    Hi,

    For the list in the footer container, please add this at the very bottom:

    #top #main #footer-page ul.avia-icon-list.av-iconlist-small li:before {
        background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/ProfoundPlanning_Stacked_White.png);
    }

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

    I see it well on my monitor but there is a new trend in laptops that are not proportional to that 16:9 measurement, they are more landscape. In the example website that I sent you can see how the image adapts its height to the height of the browser and without the need to scroll. That’s what I would like to be able to do.

    Thank you,

    BR,

    Anthony
