YigitI use DesktopServer (installs XAMP and allows you to develop multiple WordPress sites on your local hard drive) for WordPress development sites and for some reason it’s not behaving with Enfold. I created 5 other WordPress installations using DesktopServer and 5 different themes, just to make sure that the problem didn’t lie elsewhere. Do you have insight into what might be going wrong?

I know similar questions have been asked, but I can’t find a solution that fits my needs. I’m using the small fixed header but I’d like it to be a bit taller, say 120px instead of its current 88px. I know I could achieve this height with one of the other headers, but I do not want a top-bar.

It looked like it was working the other day but now it appears that the text is showing up below the navbar. Can you advise on how to hide this so that only the image appears on the desktop?

We have not yet fully tested all themes for bugs and found fixes for them but if you can point us to a specific example on your site so we can try re-creating it we’ll see what we can do in the short term.

DevinHi, the Sorting Options under my Portfolio Grid have stopped working. There is only one category of “All” instead of also displaying the other options that I have created. This used to work fine. Any ideas?

Hello,
I was wondering if you could point me to the code (javascript?) that creates the fade in effect for preview images in a portfolio grid. I’d like to speed up the effect so you don’t have to wait for the preview images at the bottom of the page to load if you quickly want to use a filter to reach them.
I couldn’t find it in the theme files and I didn’t see any other topic on this, so I apologize if I just missed it.

YigitThanks – This worked to bring the slider and color sections higher on the page. The only issue I’m now having is the headline is very close to the top of the page, and content areas and sidebars have lost the nice white space between elements that previously existed. Is there an additional CSS class that I should add to this to have it apply to the full-width image areas only?

This maybe off the topic, but if you can give me an advise, it will be great.
Our visitors are experiencing a slow page loading speed with enfold theme, especially from Asia. The page loading take about 7 seconds in Asia vs 3 seconds in USA. This is not an issue with Enfold, but hosting.So after research I came up with 2 possible solution.
1. hosting our site at Page**ly or WPE**ngine (Managed WordPress hosting with CDN, the reviews say it’s really fast, but is it really true?)
2. hosting at Managed VPS with SSD, CDN, APC, Memcached, VarnishDoes Managed WordPress hosting really worth and boost up the speed, compared to fully loaded VPS with SSD?
Please advise
I have 8 menu items plus the search icon.
When I view the site on an iPad the menu buttons overlay the site logo. This obviously looks bad and makes it hard to navigate.
Shouldn’t the responsive nature of the theme stop this happening? And is there a solution for this?

Social media icons not appear in the right, separated by a discontinuous line, like kriesi.at page.
Could you help me to align the icons on the right?

Well, I actually have found some things. E.g. how to create a automatic nested submenu. That’s working. I also managed to create some side menus using the widgetized sidebars in Appearance.
The last thing I would like to know is how to create a sidebar/sidemenu (automatic or using classic sidebars) which starts in the middle of the page, or wherever I want (ie not on top).

I’m in front of a small issue. I don’t find how to create the same sidemenu than the one you’ve got here: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/shortcodes/pricing-and-data-tables/
If I do understand well how it works, it is a nested menu automatically created on subpages (of the parent “Shortcoldes”). But how can you set it up to make it start at a precise point of the page, and not on top? I’ve tried several things, but I didn’t manage to get the same thing.
And by the way, I don’t manage to get a simple nested menu neither (if i create a child page, I have got nothing, even with the box ticked in the Options Panel). What am I missing?

Please review your website now. I have just made small fixes on the existing custom CSS codes. Only “Home” menu item is visible on Blog page, single blog pages and single portfolio pages on both desktop and mobile.
