Topic: remove padding from header
Hi there,
after swichting to the transparent header on our homepage (thank you so much for that), i removed what i thought was all entries from custom.css concerning header formatting. But on pages with page title and breadcrumb, there is still a gap between them and the main header.
checking with Firebug i come across:
´html_header_top.html_header_topbar_active.html_header_sticky.html_large #top #main {
padding-top: 147px;
}´
but this is not in my custom.css.Any idea where i can find this entry and remove it?

I changed the logo size to 1130px to get it the way I want (setting Responsive Layout Default max width 1030px). I don’t have a clue why I need a logo sized to 1130px, but that is the only way I get it centered and aligned well). On my desktop screen this is ok, but on my tablet the logo is offcourse too wide/big. Please help me on what to add to get it fixed properly for smaller screens as well.I added in Quick CSS

I’d like to be able to get the logo to show as big as I design it and put it in at rather than shrinking as its too small at the moment.

Kriesi often re-uses or re-simplifies code so my guess is that at some point the loop just stopped using a different image for each page. I’ll tag him on the topic as he will be able to give the best answer.

I did. A number of times. Also checked it on different browsers and still seeing the image.
This is very frustrating issue as many of the changes I make to the theme including the theme style (colors mainly) is not being implemented. At least I can’t see that it is implemented while other things that I do I can see immediately. I also deactivated the caching plugin as I thought that could be the reason but even now I can’t seem to see the changes I make.

What version of IE are you checking this with? If you’re using IE9 or lower, please use this:

If that doesn’t work, do this instead. Edit includes > loop-index.php, remove everything then replace it with this code:

You can add this on Quick CSS or custom.css to decrease the bottom and top padding of the menu items:
#top .main_menu .menu li ul a { padding: 4px 15px; }And if you don’t mind, you can move the “By Brand” menu item towards the top.

I’ve you have already opened other topic please do not add on to other users topics. I don’t know why the update would do that but it really shouldn’t under normal circumstances.
Updating over FTP is fine and can be done pretty easily by following the steps in the video if other methods don’t work. It also allows you to watch the transfer to make sure nothing goes awry.

I’ve managed to target the ancestors fine, but what if I wanted to style each individually?
Say, have Pivot Software as the default grey/normal, Software green/bold & Technology Sector green/bold with a border top.
I’m guessing it’s targeting the nesting of these items within the main ul?

Single Author, big preview Pic.Selecting the second one, changes the format completely of the blog entries. I want to keep the same format as the small preview pic, but with a larger image for each blog entry.

That doesn’t really help me, Ismael.
All I need is to be able to use the Edit Image / Image Resize Tool that comes with WordPress, without it messing the rest of the theme.
I need it to work properly, because my client needs it to be as user friendly as possible, and having functions that do not really work make us all look bad.
For example, look at this biography page:

The image at the bottom is the original sized image, which right now it’s been “resized” down to a 60%, but this code is ignored by the way Enfold is set up.
The image at the top is a smaller version I had to resize in Photoshop in order to make it look the way I wanted. And yes, it has a lightbox, that of course, shows the small version of the photo as well.
The purpose of the resize working along with the lightbox is to have a smaller, reduced photo into your article page, that you can reduce as you please and place wherever you want to, and when someone clicks in it, it opens a larger version.
I included the code you gave me on line 17 of Functions.php, but that doesn’t solve my problem.
I need the original picture to be resized while in WordPress to a smaller size, so when anyone clicks in it, it shows a larger version.
Topic: Padding CSS
Hi,
in a previous post (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/13-team-member-in-tab/) I got some CSS to add a div-tag for line break and padding. I set it to 5px.
On this page here: http://meoartis.com/anfrage/#tab-id-3 please check the 3. tab and the middle team member element. I used the div tag in there to achieve a line break, but the space is too big. If you check the fitter on the left, there are the same 3 contact details with the same div-tag, and the space is 5px there.Can you tell me how to have a line break in the text editor or how I can utilise the div tag with same pixel height?
