    Hi Vinnie,

    Sorry for my late reply – I’ve had a terrible flu the last couple of weeks.

    Thanks for your effort, but I can’t get this to work and to hire a freelancer is no option.

    The client accepted how it functions now, so you can flag this topic as solved.

    Hi Rikard
    Nop … here my full Quick css code. The border-color has no effect :(
    Well, I don’t know where I’m bad …. Any help? What I wish it is that the lower color of the border be the same that the top one.

    #top .alternate_color.title_container .main-title, #top .alternate_color.title_container .main-title a {
    font-weight: bold;
    }
    .template-page .entry-content-wrapper h1, .template-page .entry-content-wrapper h2 {
    text-transform: none;
    }

    .html_header_top.html_header_topbar_active.html_header_sticky.html_large #top #main {
    padding-top: 158px !important;
    border-color: #f2f2f2 !important;
    }

    I know which plugin it is. It is this one. https://wordpress.org/plugins/pinterest-widgets/

    My question remains, “Do you think there is a way to override this issue? Reading the other post it doesn’t look like it. There must be a way, no?”

    Apparently, someone has found a solution. Although I”m not sure where to implement this. Do you have any idea where I would change this? Here is the post that has the solution. It is the last post. https://wordpress.org/support/topic/widget-changing-my-pinterest-share-button?replies=5

    Thank you,

    Hello,

    I am building a site at the minute and keep getting the text/code below showing faintly at the top left, above the logo.

    {‘value’:’0.00′,’currency’:’GBP’}]); &cd[value]=0.00&cd[currency]=GBP&noscript=1′ />

    I’m not sure what this is or how to get rid of it?

    Thank you,

    Lauren

    I want to add some code to my page but not have it be inside a codeblock, any way to do this?
    Specifically I want to add it as a direct child of the “<body>” tag and preferably right at the end before the closing “</body>”

    Hi there,

    The website for one of my clients is a multilanguage website using Polylang. On the blog page the Enfold title and breadcrumbs are not showing (see links to the blog pages of the development site in different languages below).

    In this topic I can read that the solution would be to choose the home page and blog page through Enfold theme options in stead of WP settings (and which would be the normal thing to do). However, because this is a multilanguage website, this is not possible for this website. If I would do that, I would run into some major functional problems.

    Is there any way to also show the title and breadcrumbs on the blog pages with these settings? It is not a life threatening issue, but it would be ‘nice’ to have the title and breadcrumbs on the blog pages too :-)

    Thanks for your advise.

    Regards,
    Monique

    Topic: Change Blog Layout

    in forum Enfold

    Hi together,

    I want to change the appearance of blog posts, especially the position of the blog image (first blog title, picture beside the text, date on top and not at the bottom, no image-link). It should look like on the front page of Feuerwehr Frankfurt. I know the function to show blog posts at the layout builder, but with the settings I can’t solve my problem.

    Is there a way to do that? It would be perfect If there is a possibility to build an own layout with the layout bilder and define which blog elements are displayed on which position, which size and so on.

    Regards, Andreas

    Thanks for everyone help
    Still learning how to do this.
    Ideally, trying to have the Site Title (“Live Your Life Learning”) and the tagline of the website (“live laugh learn love”) be shown on the top of every web page in the web site.
    My guess is I can create a widget to be shown in the Header area??
    And then put the Site Title and Tagline of the website in the Widget area??
    I do see example of code to put in the functions.php file.section; I am guessing you find this section in the Appearance/Editor section?? And I can find a choice that says “functions-enfold.php”. Is “functions-enfold.php” the same as “functions.php”??
    Any help would be useful. Thanks for your help.

    Hey Francesco!

    Please use the below css in Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS

    @media only screen and (max-width: 769px) {
    #top #header_meta {
    background-color: #109bc5!important;
     }}

    If there are no other solutions they are forced to move to another CMS. I ask you again to find a solution on the matter, all the login credentials are attached in previous posts.
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi!

    I do not see where is the inconsistency you mentioned but the below css is what controls the table margins on top and bottom

    div .avia-table {
        margin: 30px 0!important;
    }

    Please feel free to adjust the 30px as required by your design :)

    In reply to: Close Ajax

    Hey!

    We are working on your ticket please wait while we update the results here soon. I think the user you have created has some permission issue as we are not able to create any new pages or add the code.

    Anyways to close an ajax portfolio item when you click outside the portfolio item please use the below code in functions.php and use the portfolio items as usual this will work…

    //closeAjaxPortfolio

    function closeAjaxPortfolio(){
    ?>
    <script>

        jQuery(document).on('click', function(event) {
            if (!jQuery(event.target).closest('.isotope-item').length) {
                jQuery('.avia_close').trigger('click');
            }
        });

    </script>
    <?php
    }
    add_action('wp_head', 'closeAjaxPortfolio');

    Cheers!

    Andy, Jordan, Vinnie,

    I´ve deleted the enfold theme folder and have uploaded a fresh theme just downloaded from themeforest. All fresh all new. Still error importing the construction demo. It is very very frustrating but I will not stop harassing you until the demo is installed and running!

    Hey mcraig77!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    I checked the site again on Firefox and I was able to reproduce the issue. I’m not sure why I missed it the first time. Please try this in the Quick CSS field:

    .avia-mozilla div .av_one_half {
        margin-left: 6%;
        width: 49.65%;
    }

    Hi,
    I have a table and the spacing above the table is not consistent with spacing between other elements (such as between text block elements). I tried to force a margin of “0”, but that didn’t work. I am currently using this custom css in my child theme to affect the table elements:
    table caption {
    padding: 0 0 5px 0;
    width: auto;
    font-style:normal;
    text-align: left;
    font-size: 21px;
    font-weight: bold;
    color: #2c353d!important;
    }

    div .avia-table { margin-top: 0px; }

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Hi!

    Add this in the functions.php file, adjust the href and image src value:

    add_filter('avf_logo_subtext', 'kriesi_logo_addition');
    function kriesi_logo_addition($sub) {
        $sub .= "<a class='second-logo' href='#'><img src='_IMAGE_URI_HERE_' /></a>";
        return $sub;
    }

    Use this in the Quick CSS field in order to adjust the position of the logo:

    .second-logo {
        position: absolute !important;
        top: 0;
        right: 0;
    }

    .logo {
        width: 100%;
    }

    Cheers!

    Hi!

    Yup this totally worked. Does this mean I should only use the child theme folder? Shouldn’t be a problem I think but just want t confirm.

    I don’t know the exact setup of the server’s directory so it’s easier to locate the child theme folder.

    Just one last thing, there is an error on the top of the page : string(62) “/home/hwangimc/public_html/aham/wp-content/themes/enfold-child”

    Please edit the code in the functions.php file then look for the var_dump line. Remove it.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hey!

    I checked the site on an old version of Safari, Windows and I was able to reproduce the issue on the “easyvisit” site. On the “band” site, however, it works fine. There’s no shutter, shake or anything, the video looks stuck on the first frame and it doesn’t look too bad but we know that it’s not the intended behaviour. It’s also irregular which makes it quite more difficult to debug. We’re still trying to find a solution so please bear with us while we’re working on this. The link is at the top of the original post. But here it is again… http://www.secretstash.com/home

    I’ve already used the code you suggested. I’m trying to remove the entire logo container. If I use just the code you suggest then it leaves an 88px tall empty container.

    I’ve given you admin login below. I want the top of the red logo to remain aligned with the red border as it is now.

    Thanks!

    Hi!

    I’m sorry but what do you mean by “subscription” and “heading tables”? Could you please provide a screenshot of the elements that you want to modify? Use imgur or dropbox for the screenshots. For the add to cart button, you can use this:

    #top form.cart .button {
        background-color: red;
        color: yellow;
        border-color: purple;
    }

    I’ve put the logo into the menu and set the main logo not to display using css.
    I’ve tried every way possible to remove the logo container – the only way that I could get to work was to use this code:
    #header_main .container { height: 0px;}

    However, when I use that code and click on About Us or Menu it scrolls down to the corresponding color section ID but it doesn’t scroll down far enough – it stops before the menu even recognizes that it’s in the color section and the menu item doesn’t get underlined. It seems that the CSS i’m using to get rid of the logo container is causing this error. Is there another way to remove the logo container? I’ve tried every combination I can think of.
