Hello,
I have chosen to use the front page scroll down feature. Works great. http://www.robertLcarey.com.
Unfortunately, when I create pages that are not part of the Front Page, the navigation at the top of the new page will not take me back to the front page (home).
How do I fix?
Potential solutions that I do not know how to implement.
a. Get the navigation to work whenever I create a new page.
b. On those pages, hide those buttons that don’t work and provide a home page button and a back button. (In the future, when I add book content there’s a need to a way to get back.) Which means I will need to change the Front Page name to Home.

See yellow circles
c. The bread crumbs could work, but it is not as elegant of a solution.
Thoughts?
Thank you,
Bob
Hello,
I also wanted to use the Progress Bars element on top of the top image, but couldn’t get it to drop onto the slider over the right side of the image. I tried to drop the content element on the Fullscreen Slider and it would not drop onto it.
Do I need to create a new color section and place the image there and then drop rows instead of using the Fullscreen Slider. It would be nice to add images later on etc. to get the cool effect, but the other item is more important.
How do I accomplish this?
Hello,
Loving Enfold and the ability to use the demos to build a site.
I’ve spent hours online searching for solutions and have not found the answers I seek.
I’m hoping you can help me solve some issues I’m having.
On the front page (top) I’ve replaced the images inherited from the demo I used.

I wanted to change the transparent slider with the about us and reservations buttons, but did not find the content in the LayerSlider WP.
I have looked for the captions option as suggested in a post, but could not find it. I wonder if the version of the LayerSlider might be the issue?
The following images are what is inside the LayerSlider WP on my site.

My goal is to simply (once I find the text boxes) change out the text and hide the buttons until I need them later.
I appreciate the help!
Thank you,
Bob
Dear All,
It look like this is a problem the plugin author is aware and will be fixed in the next release of the plugin.
Here is my post requesting support on the Polylang WordPress page:

Guessing somewhere in this piece of js?:
function avia_header_size()
{
var win = $(window),
header = $('.html_header_top.html_header_sticky #header'),
unsticktop = $('.av_header_unstick_top');
if(!header.length && !unsticktop.length) return;
var logo = $('#header_main .container .logo img, #header_main .container .logo a'),
elements = $('#header_main .container:not(#header_main_alternate>.container), #header_main .main_menu ul:first-child > li > a:not(.avia_mega_div a, #header_main_alternate a), #header_main #menu-item-shop .cart_dropdown_link'),
el_height = $(elements).filter(':first').height(),
isMobile = $.avia_utilities.isMobile,
scroll_top = $('#scroll-top-link'),
transparent = header.is('.av_header_transparency'),
shrinking = header.is('.av_header_shrinking'),
topbar_height = header.find('#header_meta').outerHeight(),
set_height = function()
{
var st = win.scrollTop(), newH = 0, st_real = st;
if(unsticktop) st -= topbar_height;
if(st < 0) st = 0;
if(shrinking && !isMobile)
{
if(st < el_height/2)
{
newH = el_height - st;
if(st <= 0){
newH = el_height;
}
av_change_class(header, 'remove', 'header-scrolled');
//header.removeClass('header-scrolled');
}
else
{
newH = el_height/2;
//header.addClass('header-scrolled');
av_change_class(header, 'add', 'header-scrolled');
}
if(st - 30 < el_height)
{
av_change_class(header, 'remove', 'header-scrolled-full');
}
else
{
av_change_class(header, 'add', 'header-scrolled-full');
}
elements.css({'height': newH + 'px', 'lineHeight': newH + 'px'});
logo.css({'maxHeight': newH + 'px'});
}
Hi,
Did you try adding the CSS to Quick CSS under Enfold–>General Styling?
Please note that bumping topics has the opposite effect on this forum.
Thanks,
Rikard
I just added a footer to my site with my logo and contact information. The problem is that sometimes when I scroll down to the bottom, the logo is overlapping the text. This only seems to be happening on my desktop, mobile is fine. Refreshing the site doesn’t always help. What can I do to prevent this? (See Image)
I have searched this topic but did not find a straightforward reply to this issue. I really need the text, buttons and image on this slider to be responsive. How can that be achieved?

Hi there,
I was reading, https://kriesi.at/support/topic/lightbox-question-in-avia-layout-builder/
I wonder how we do this now? it seems the interface has changed.. is this a sitewide setting I have missed?
I want to enable this for images on a site we are working on https://braandcorsetsupplies.com/2016/07/24/almonds-and-bulges/ for some reason I can not figure it out.
cheers

Hello,
So sorry about the photos above. I believe I have fixed the issue.

Hi Andy,
I have updated the theme to the latest version and have deactivated the plugin as well as did a hard refresh, but my 3 problems are still there:
1. Can’t seem to get “search” on mobile. I followed your guidelines here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/search-icon-on-mobile-devices/#post-589759 but I still don’t see it on my iphone 6 and 6+ or my ipad.
2. The menu on my ipad both 9.7 and 12.9 inch displays is not presenting the mobile menu which is resulting with the menu writing over the logo. I changed the menu option by going to header->menu-options and activating both mobile and ipad but I still have the problem with the menu.
3. On a Kindle the website banners (red and blue sections) are not presented like they are on a pc or iPhone. How can we make them all behave the same.
I have included my credentials in the private area. Thank you so much for your help.
Hi Ismael,
I’m still having some problems https://braandcorsetsupplies.com/product/satin-strap-elastic-bra-strap-elastic/ (and I noticed this is also the case with the MEXX site as well https://db.tt/rWAFWQXf )
first:
this does not seem to fix the core issues with the sidebar disappearing completely on mobile or small screens…. the sidebar is totally gone still and the content is only showing up half of the width of the screen https://db.tt/rvhJAZeE https://db.tt/b05NtpE3
also:
as the screen narrows the sidebar shrinks before it kicks to mobile as well. it does not behave the same way as the left main menu sidebar does.. this must be due to the ‘width: 25%’ https://db.tt/vT7PDacg and https://db.tt/imkpVQnN can we get it to behave the same way as the left side bar ? where it remains sticky to it’s size until it pops to mobile?
also:
I would really really like to also have the product information/woocommerce tabs to go below in the area so that it is full width https://db.tt/AgYLiH7x like shown in this very old post https://kriesi.at/support/topic/moving-woocommerce-tabs-underneath-the-image-and-short-description-full-width/
in summary.
1. left side bar behaviour is inconsistent with the menu on rightside bar when it comes to how it shrinks and pops to mobile
2. side bar is totally gone and does not show below product on mobile it’s just gone. https://db.tt/b05NtpE3
3. side bar settings cause strange mobile behaviour with woocommerce tabs being half screen width. > https://db.tt/rvhJAZeE
4. I really want to have full width woocommerce tabs.. https://db.tt/AgYLiH7x
We are getting close to launching this website to go live soon so I need to sort out this basic layout problems
thank you very much Kriesi team, you guys always rock it for me ! i know we’ll sort this out :)

Hi I’m trying to recreate having a fixed frame layout with a background image at the top. I attached a reference. Any idea on where I would start?
Hi, Ismael gave me a fix that worked to hide the image icon for IMAGE post type but it only works when the right sidebar is enabled, his original post here https://kriesi.at/support/topic/make-blog-post-previous-and-next-arrows-bigger/#post-663235
I removed the sidebar now and the icon show up underneath the featured image, how should i alter the code? see private link for example
.template-blog .blog-meta {
display: none;
}
.big-preview {
display: block;
padding: 0 50px 10px 0px;
}
Hi,
you can do this using this code:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
.responsive #top .cart_dropdown {
right: 10%;
top: 10%;
margin: -23px 50px 0 0;
}}
Adjust the values as needed.
Best regards,
Andy

it is possible to insert a background png image of the top menu?
an example of this in the attached image
thank you so much
Hi,
use this code inside Quick CSS field:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
#advanced_menu_toggle {
position: fixed;
top: 35px;
}}
and adjust top value as needed.
Best regards,
Andy
Hi Yigit
It is on my Local Host so I can’t give you a live look at it unless you want to share screens.
I just noticed the screen shot has accidentally been moved so here is another link to a screen shot.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/k8xa65600iu2b6j/Screenshot%202016-07-27%2022.26.04.png?dl=0
So it is a Colour section. In that is several columns, in these columns is an Icon at the top & below is a Text Area. It is the look of Links, Strong (Bold) text and the ul dot points that allows the colour be changed and in the next it won’t.
The Bold Text in some cases as same colour as the background until you mouse over it & then it turns white.
As you can see the code is the same for text areas yet they do not all reflect it in text view or when live.
Cheers Dave
Hey,
I have a category that is showing up in my shop but I need to exclude it from there.
I found this, but i dosen’t seem to woork
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/hideexclude-a-category-from-woocommerce-shop-page/
The reason I would like it removed is that I want to show some selected products on the front slider, but they should only be visible there.
Hope you can help
Regards Pete,
Hey asinger777!

}

Hi! When I’m viewing my website from the mobile devices, I’m not entirely satisfied with the results. Most of the pages have Advanced Layerslider at the top and color sections with people photos as a background that positioned in a specific alignment with content elements. This specific alignment gets disturbed when viewed in on the mobile devices. For example, person’s face gets covered by the content elements or the background photo gets moved so the person isn’t seen anymore at all.
I’m happy with the behavior of Advanced Layerslider – it keeps the container wide at 100% and everything always looks the same either it’s desktop, iPad or smartphone. Is there a chance to make color sections to behave the same way?
Basically, I want my website to have exactly the same the look on mobile devices as I have on regular computers. Advanced Layerslider provides that, but not the color section.
Thank you!
Hope you can help me, I’m having the Avia Layout Builder problem where it never loads up, I’ve spent the day going through threads and trying all suggestions including.
Latest Version of them
Clearing Browser Cache and Restarting
Different Browsers (Chrome and Safari)
Disable All plugins then enabling 1×1
Overwriting all theme files with a fresh copy from my theme forest account.
In addition to this i’ve tried the solution at
where you need to comment out a line.
But I can’t get anything to work for me :(
Please could someone take a look at it and resolve.
Hi,
please check the link in private content.
We set the gradient bg class to the color section and added the below css in Quick CSS
/* Gradient bg*/
.gradient-bg {
background: url("http://usabilitygeek.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/free-fonts-for-commercial-personal-use.jpg") center center no-repeat;
background-size: cover;
}
.gradient-bg:before {
content: '';
position: absolute;
top: 0;
right: 0;
bottom: 0;
left: 0;
min-height:100%;
background-image: linear-gradient(to bottom right, #002f4b, #dc4225);
opacity: .6;
}
Best regards,
Vinay
Hi,
Please use the following css code for the language switcher and the contact info:
#top #wrap_all .av_header_transparency .sub_menu > ul > li > a {
color: #ffffff;
}
.header_color .phone-info a {
color: #ffffff;
}
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi,
Adjust the code or add a left margin:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
.responsive #top.page-id-118 .container .av-content-small, .responsive #top #wrap_all .flex_column, .responsive #top #wrap_all .av-flex-cells .no_margin {
width: 45%;
float: middle;
display: inline-block!important;
margin-left: 3%;
}
}
Best regards,
Ismael
You have three unclosed media queries here:
@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) {
.page-id-5276 .av-caption-image-overlay-bg {
background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.2) !important;
}
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
ul#mobile-advanced {
padding-top: 0;
margin-top: 80px;
}
@media only screen and (max-width: 480px) {
#advanced_menu_hide {
top: 40px !important;
right: 28px !important;
}
Best regards,
Josue
