Hello,
I am currently using the Enfold Child Theme. I imported the Construction Demo. I’m having 2 issues:
1) When I try and use the predefined color scheme, nothing changes. It doesn’t matter which one I pick. It doesn’t affect the way the website looks.
2) I want to edit the menu, but can’t figure out how to do that. I’m attaching a screenshot. I’d like to change the menu to be all white with color font. How do I do that? View screenshot here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pqtns9sa3u90jd5/websitescreenshot_leasehold.jpg?dl=0
Lastly, is there a way to have the menu at the top on the home page, and then move to the left sidebar on every other page?

Topic: Info Bar duplication
I am having a problem with the one page demo on the enfold theme. On the top where the contents of the site are displayed “Menu bar” for some reason it says everything twice. Is there a way to remove the duplications. Thank you

How do I fix a page that’s not responsive on my iPhone?
The rest of the pages are fine, and all pages work on desktop, but this one is an issue on mobile.

Please try de-activating Autoptimize plugin and check if that helps. If it does, please adjust its options and flush cache and it should work. If it does not, please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately :)

YigitI know there are topics related to this, but I’ve tried the suggestions and I’m not getting anywhere. I’ve Deleted my .htaccess and changed back to “Plain” and then back to “Custom” with the /%pagename%/ tag…. even with any of the suggested permalink tags, none of them except for the default “Plain” option is working. I also tried a plugin to let me customized the permalink and it didn’t work.
Any guidance would be appreciated.

I have read a few other topics that pertain to my particular issue with having the current page to show, but it seems some pages work, and some do not. I have created a video for you (Active Page Links) in hopes that it might help you see the issue. Could you please help me so that if a user is on a page, or sub page, that the appropriate links will show?
I have a border-left display on my hover for the sub menu and am wanting the border-left to display on the active page as well, but only the link text is highlighted.
Portfolio Page
Currently, if someone views my Portfolio page, the link will indeed remain active, but if they open up an album within my Portfolio page (for example: “Landscape”), the navigation link “Portfolio” is no longer active. This isn’t reflected in the footer either.Account Page
If someone is on their Downloads in the Account Page, the link “Account” and the sub menu link “Downloads” is not highlighted in the Full Width Sub MenuI have removed the shop page, and log in/out links from the main navigation menu since my site is not currently ready for customers. Hi, I’m having a similar problem.
I’ve gone through the multiple threads about this issue and I’m not sure I’ve come away with a real solution.
I may be wrong, but I think that in this age of 1920×1080 Desktop Screens and 4K Phone screens that aspect ratio is more important that resolution.
These rules based on resolution seem to not take into account high resolution mobile devices.
Is there a possibility of using something like aspect ratio to determine how content gets shown?

Hi guys, I have several products on home page and one with an offer. The normal price is crossed out, but the line that marks it appears very weak. I need to make that line stronger, so it´s clear that price no longer exists.
I have modified my style.css in child theme to change the price color this way
#top .main_color .onsale { background-color: #f1cd07; }
del .amount { color: #424242; }
ins .amount { color: #089df2; }but need to know how to make the dash that crosses out the price stronger and the same color as the price.

At the moment my forum homepage displays a list of the available forums but I’d like to be able to display the topics within each forum llike they show on the bbPress website under section 1 on this page. Is this possible using bbPress with Enfold?

Thank you so much Yigit, it works fine like that ( as said for smartphone display i have juste included the shopping card in the enfold dropdown menu ).
ps : can you change the main name of our topic ( which was originally “hide the wordpress top bar for all users except admin ?” ) with “problem about display of shopping card icon”, so it can be more usefull for other enfold users.

Hi,
Is it possible to have a different shop banner for each category please? I am aware that there is a ‘Enable Banner for product category pages’ feature and if unchecked, the category image is displayed, but it does not span the whole page at the top (like the shop banner does).
Also, I am getting an API error on the Google Map section ‘This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.’ Can you help with this as well please?

Thanks for the idea. It has the exact opposite effect of what I want. Maybe my request wasn’t so clear.
For normal view / desktop etc – I want to keep the padding on left and right of tab container.
For mobile / responsive view I want to remove he padding on left and right of tab container.
My attempt to solve was to use the .responsive CSS version – this worked for mobile view – but I found that this was also affecting the normal view and removing padding that I wanted to keep.
Any idea how I can restrict the .responsive CSS to make sure it doesn’t get used everywhere?

I found some CSS to fix my last problem for the small white band – I just coloured the background in to match the audio player. This is fine.
So the only outstanding problem is that my CSS to remove tab content padding left and right in mobile view is also being carried forward into the desktop view.
This is the CSS I used:-.responsive .tabcontainer .tab_content {

how can i deactivate the borders of the social share icons? how can i delete the title and how can i bring the social share button to the top of the page? that aligns perfect with the sidebar?

Hi there,
I have created a single page site, but I need to add an extra page for blog.
The problem is that when I click on NEWS if I try to click on any other “anchor” spots of the single page it doesn’t work as the URL adds the anchor to the news URL.
I do understand the Anchor setup explained in add-anchors-to-your-page-for-single-page-navigation/
And I did install the zen-menu-logic which by the way it is saying that it might not work with my wordpress version (Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress.)Is there any other option? I also tried to add a code block as explained in (this post) but it is not good as the only menu is HOME.
Topic: woocommerce min/max
Hello,
I am using the woocommerce min/max plugin to change the order groups wich products are bought in.
Example: a quantity of 4 8 12 etc. This works normal on simple products. but not on products with variations. There it stops working.
The plugin works with every other theme I try except enfold.
Any ideas?Andy, when I added that code it worked for the desktop browsers, but because on mobile (iPhone) there was no blank space to begin with, it cut out some of the event text
The situation is: Desktop has blank space. iPhone (mobile) version does not show that blank space.

I know how WordPress works. I’m a software developer. That’s why I could fix one problem alone. But I’m not the expert in CSS and this seems to be an CSS problem. And you just said, it is a problem between the Theme and the Plugin. So it is a problem of Enfold. To send me away to the plugin Author is no solution and no support. The Plugin works with a lot of other Themes very well, so it seems to be more a Theme problem, than a Plugin problem. In the time you discuss this with me, you could have already fixed the problem. I have 4 customers I recommended the Enfold Theme and all of them use Optimize Press and all of them have the same problem. I have to stop to recommend Enfold, because the support is realy bad. Instead of helping your are discussing with me. Yes, I can hire a freelancer and I will do in future. And my customers I will recommend an other theme. Fortunately there are enough other solutions outside. Unfortunately that does not help me at the moment and I still have the problem and would need to move all sites to another theme, which costs time and money.
The advertisement on your page says: “We offer incredible support and free updates for all our themes!” I don’t see an incredible support. How can I get this?

stop using the Enfold settings for your caption, instead use css code to adjust the
position of your caption: .slide-1 .slideshow_align_caption { top: 50px; }Change .slide-1 to .slide-2 for your second image and so on. Adjust top value as needed.

Thanks for getting back.
As you can see in previous posts Yigit provided a css “patch” which partly corrected the issue. However not completely – as I described in my last post. Please do read my last post!
As I mentioned several times I am actually normally a happy Enfold user with other Enfold installations working smoothly with the same host. Please ref. my earlier posts in this topic! But with this site something seems to be basicly wrong, since we need these css-corrections for something which normally works out of the box (there are other issues as well i.e. the logo not being positioned top-left on mobile, which it normally does out of the box).
You suggested yourself you would take a look at it via ftp – which I then provided you with log-in data for!
I don’t know how to move on with this. Please read my posts and let me know what you think we should do.

I managed to find some CSS to remove padding on mobile view – but it also removes padding on desktop view as well which is not ideal.
http://screencast.com/t/locvocnKUNM mobile view – left and right padding removed. (small white band still shows at top and bottom of container).
I used this:-

—–Desktop view in private link below shows the padding also taken away on left and right. If there’s a way to fix this I would been keen to hear this.
Also in the mobile view – is there a CSS fix to remove the small white band/padding at top and bottom as shown by the arrowheads in my screenshot?
