    Hi,

    Just remove the stripes on the logo and use the below css. It should work as you intended to do it.

    Background-size property can be used but that will not be a accurate solution. https://css-tricks.com/almanac/properties/b/background-size/

    I cannot see the repeating background that you are trying to hide in mobile so i’m unable to help you with the css. Please share a precise link if you want to still do that.

    To add a background image with color to the header please use css in this format

    background: #6DB3F2 url('images/checked.png');

    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8195215/css-background-image-on-background-color

    #header_main {
        border-top: 5px solid #fff;
        border-bottom: 5px solid #fff;
        box-shadow: inset 0px 5px 0px #c30000, inset 0px -5px 0px #c30000;
        background: #000;
    }

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Hi Brian,

    You have this in your enfold-child.css file:

    .html_header_transparency #top .avia-builder-el-0 .container {
      margin-top:110px;
    }

    I’m guessing it’s something you want to keep so you can try the same code in a media query with a lower value:

    @media only screen and (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 1024px) {
    .html_header_transparency #top .avia-builder-el-0 .container {
      margin-top:40px;
    }
    }

    Add it to Quick CSS to see if you have any luck with it.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

    Is the site down? I want to check the menu container but it can’t be reached.

    Set the height of the “sticky placeholder”.

    #top .av-submenu-container {
        height: 32px;
    }

    #top .sticky_placeholder {
        height: 31px;

    Hey vmoralestejedor,

    Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) and (min-width: 480px) {
    .responsive #top .slideshow_caption h2 {
        font-size: 50px !important;
    }
    .responsive #top .slideshow_caption .avia-caption-content {
        font-size: 30px !important;
    }
    }

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    I tried the first suggested solution: #top .avia-post-nav { display: none; }

    It took a while for the cache to release but it worked! Thank you!

    Hi Nikko!

    I guess when they first get to Chrome it’s fine until they put the cursor over the magnifying glass and it flies to the right. I can’t recreate the issue. I asked him if his browser is up to date and he says it is. I think he’s on a laptop, I don’t have one for testing. Link to a screenshot is in the private content. Any help is appreciated!!!

    Thank you,
    Chris

    Added to Quick CSS

    It worked!!

    ====

    I inherited this website with the Enfold theme,

    This is at the top of Quick CSS.

    Is this here by default? Can I delete it?

    Except for the last few lines it looks very vanilla. I don’t want “related posts” being delivered from tags on the site, I see this is mentioned here.

    Hi!

    When adding the element, it has Margins Position for Top / Bottom.
    You do need to remove those and it will bring the results right.

    Cheers!

    Hey Basilis,

    thanks for your answer – it’s not about the flags, it’s about the icons Enfold uses. For example: the social media icons, down pointing arrows and so on. This suddenly stopped working on the subdomain.

    Thanks,
    eC

    My big preview images aren’t resizing on mobile. I’m using the following custom CSS.

    .big-preview.single-big img {
    height: 314px;
    min-height: 314px;
    max-height: 314px;
    width: 600px;
    min-width: 600px;
    max-width: 600px;
    }

    .big-preview.single-big{ text-align: center; }

    .big-preview.single-big a{ display: inline-block; }

    #top.single-post .big-preview.single-big a,
    #top.single-post .small-preview {
    pointer-events: none;
    cursor: default;
    }

    #720050

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px){
    .responsive #top #wrap_all .container {
    width: 100%!important;
    max-width:100%!important;
    }}

    code you provide didn’t do the job so i accidentally found this code did the job. width was set to 85% and i changed it to 100%

    Hello

    I want to make my home page like the one-page theme

    with calls to actions to other pages,

    can you explain how to link different sections on my page to the menu bar like in the demo

    thank you

    Hello Nikko,

    Before I lose the fullwith submenu on desktop and tablet how can I have the same effects on the desktop and tablet sidebar menu.

    Example is here: http://imgur.com/a/2lmDR

    I would like that the desktop and tablet sidebar menu to have exactly the same effects like the fullwith submenu right now have.
    By that I mean the blue line under the menu item, when I hover and by default the menu items colour should be black.

    How can I change it?

    #720037

    I have fixed it and it worked! But the spacing between the border (top and bottom) and text is too big, it doesnt work with the padding to make it smaller, how can i fix that?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback and yes, there are some limitations to using the Layout Builder for posts unfortunately. But we will hopefully improve this in future version of the theme.

    Please let us know if you should need any further help on the topic.

    Hi,

    Oh, sorry about that. I added this to the top of your Quick CSS and it seems to be working without any problems:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 1150px) {
    nav.main_menu {display:none !important;}
    #advanced_menu_toggle, #advanced_menu_hide {display:block !important;}
    }

    I am working on a site where the mobile menu is always displayed. When a user expands the mobile menu, the menu items are centered, unfortunately I am having some difficulty centering them vertically and was wondering if you have any advice. Content below. Currently you can see the menu items are top aligned, and I would like the menu items to always be centered vertically.

    Thank you

    #719936

    Hi,

    If you want to hide it on both desktop and tablet, try to replace this part of Yigit’s code

    @media only screen and (min-width: 1025px) and (max-width: 767px) {

    to

    @media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {

    Hope this helps :)

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    #719926

    Hi,

    I apologize for that mistake, I forgot to add # (I have fixed the code above). I removed from your Quick CSS, however it is still missing this so the header image should show up, kindly add it to Quick CSS:

    #top .header_bg {
        background: transparent !important;
    }

    I tried to add the code and removed it shortly after since I don’t think it looks good with logo and the background.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi,

    I’m currently in the final phase of creating a website with the Enfold Theme combined with WooCommerce plug-in (and some more). The website is live in 2 days (5th December) and I’m struggling with a few issues. The page is: http://www.puurdeliz.nl/maaltijdservice.

    My main concern is that the customer after adding a product (food related so very possible he/she needs more than one products), that he “always” has to start from the start of the page. It looks like the page completely reloads and I’m guessing it’s got to do with the ad-to-cart settings. Every time a product is added the pop-up cart is shown on top of the page.

    Thnx in advance for helping!

    Han

    Topic: Header Logo No Padding

    in forum Enfold

    Hm I’m not sure I follow you exactly. But overall I like the direction.

    I ended up taking a slightly different approach by trying to recreate the button code in html because I want the button style. I have it all working except I can’t get the icon added? Any ideas?

    Here’s the CSS I used which is worked great:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 768px) {
    .only_desktop_tablet { display: none !important; }}

    @media only screen and (min-width: 769px) {
    .only_mobile { display: none !important; }}

    Thank you so much!!

    Thank you for your help, Vinay! I am still facing this issue, at least with my primary browser (Chrome). I can adjust the quantity in the cart with the + and – buttons but when I click Update Cart absolutely nothing happens…it does not even attempt to reload the page, etc., it just acts like a non-functioning button. The button does change appearance when I mouse over, but clicking does not do anything further.

    I was able to get it to work on my laptop and my desktop with Internet Explorer. On my laptop, it still didn’t work in Chrome but doing a Ctrl+R did correct the issue. I’m unable to get it to work on my desktop, which means it’s likely a cache or something on this system? Keep in mind I had another customer last night voice the same complaint, but that could mean that they had been on the site and cart page prior to the update?

    For what it’s worth, I’m on a Dell XPS desktop running Windows 8.1 at 64-bit, my version of Chrome was Version 54.0.2840.99 m but I’ve updated to Version 55.0.2883.75 m with no change to the issue.

    I do appreciate your help, but I’m guessing the issue was LIKELY corrected upon updating Enfold to 3.8 and both myself and several customers just need to clear the cache for it to take effect?

    Thanks so much…

    John
