Thanks! That worked with a little bit of tweaking because the toggle was sitting over the fullwidth slider at a height of 180 so I changed it to 300 for more space, then moved the actual toggle up to remain inside the header background area –

I’m sharing in case someone else has the same question :)

I removed all the other videos and tested it, it worked, then i added 1 back in with the video element, that video I add in works, but the full width slider stops working jsut like it is now. I put the other videos back on as they were after i noticed it still didn’t work.

I resolved the two issues without any problem. Sometimes some of the flags have wrong dimensions (spanish for example is now a little smaller then the others) on my screen, which is a 1920×1080, but I think it might be a bug or similar.

Just another quick question:
Is there a way to remove the border from the arrows in the slider? I tried various css but none of them worked.
I tried to edit
#top .avia-slideshow-arrows a adding border:none !important; but that didn’t seem to work.

I followed the instructions in the links you sent Adding

to theme functions.php file worked to finally send an email and it even worked with SMTP however the autoresponder stopped working after doing that whereas before making the change the autoresponder did work but it was the only thing that worked. So still not a perfect situation but better. Too bad I could not get it all to work together.

I put that into my Quick CSS, and it appears to have not worked. I have several blog posts where I inserted a header image at the top manually, and then several posts where I didn’t, and the image doesn’t show up twice on the ones where it’s already there, or at all on the ones without a header image.

Richard – I found the answer under HEADER > UNSTICK TOPBAR.

Sigh. Thanks but no. That didn’t do it either. No discernible difference in behavior.
The images are still not loading until you scroll to that section of the page.

Here’s the sum total of the CSS I’ve got now:

Thanks! This is working except now when I save the page I get a page that displays the error below. I click my browser’s back button and I get a message at the top telling me there is saved version of my page. I save again and it seems to work. But this is happening on every page save now. Any ideas???

I appreciate all your help but still don’t have it right. (I am giving you access to my site in the private content area in case you want to have a look. )
I got the custom css cIass field to show up (Yay!) and in the field box for the layout element is this:

BUT did something wrong in the quick css in General Styling because ALL the elements on the entire site had an 8% margin. I just want the pale gray box and light blue box to have that 8% margin so they don’t stick out further than the other elements on that page that have 8% margin assigned in their “edit column”.
