Topic: Google Map/API Key problems
Hello!
I just moved my site from a development server to the real one and the map stopped working. I added an API key (screenshot attached privately). I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.
I have the latest version of Enfold/Wordpress.

LizHello. The active color was pulling from Enfold -> Main Color. I’ve added the below CSS, to get the correct color. However, when I click on another item in the sort choices, the color stays at #666. I’d like the active sort item to be #000. I want the same look as this, in the new 2017 Demo.

AsteriosHello support. I’ve added a color section on the top of my Enfold home page and linked to a YouTube video that’s playing as a background. It plays automatically when viewed on a desktop but just shows the YouTube play icon and a still image from the video on my iphone and ipad.
If I push the play button it doesn’t do anything on iphone or ipad. It would be great if it played on mobile and tablet too.

Hello Rikard,
I placed an update note regarding this issue at the top of my original inquiry. The web hosting company I use was able log in through FTP and fix the issue. When I was updating Enfold within WordPress, Envato was apparently having s3amazon issues (now resolved) which affected the theme update, which seemed to then cause the slider issue. The slider is now working fine.

MonteHad a similar issue. All my layersliders stopped being fullwidth. I rebuilt one, but I have one on each page. This is not a small fix. There should be a warning that layerslider no longer works the same with the latest upgrade.

Thank you for your help so far!!On Desktop:
Chrome shows white text in menu (correct)
Safari shows black text in menu (how do I fix?)
ALSO: the menu dropdown backgrounds are also very different – can’t see them very well in Chrome – they are very light grey vs. dark grey in Safari.

OK, don’t know what changed but I am FINALLY able to get into the support system. So, we can knock that one off the list of issues, which leaves the following:
My website’s menus are transparent and look awful
My website’s top menu bleeds over onto the logoI just downloaded your latest update, but after reviewing all the comments about problems users are having with it (particularly with layersliders) I am not going to install it right now. I would prefer that you help me fix the 2 issues noted above before I risk updating and messing up more things on my website.
I also followed the directions at http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/menu-overlaps-logo-on-tablets/ for menu overlap with logo to no avail.

Since I never heard back in a reasonable amount of time, we went with another approach. You can close this topic. I was able to get this code to work outside of the theme which is why I felt it was a valid inquiry.

I’ve had a few hiccups with Autoptimize in the past, but the developer fixed the issues right away. Knock on wood…haven’t had issues in quite some time.
I would clear and disable any caching. Then I would try tinkering with the plugin settings, testing each step along the way.
I’ve had some success with those plugins, although there are still speed issues with my site. I did try Autoptimize and it unformatted all of my headline elements. Have you experienced this and is there an easy fix within plugin or Enfold settings?
Hello. I get great scores on my Enfold sites using WP Super Cache (default settings) and Autoptimize.

Is it possible to make a second landingpage for distributing a free e-book to make some list-building? The landingpage should be without top menu.
Can I use the mailchimp form for this purpose or do I need some kind of plugin that will send a link to the new ‘customer’ to be able to download the book? (like Thrive?)
Can you evt. supply a link for a demo or how it works in the real world?

Thanks for taking a look.
The page title I want to show is the one at the top of the page, not in the breadcrumb bar.
It shows on the Tag archive pages, but not on Category archive pages. Links to marked screenshots to clarify are below.

I did it, but now I see both silders from desktop and also from mobile…seems like is not responding to css.
What did i do wrong?Hi Rikard, Meanwhile I have removed the css part. What happen is that when I open the web site on the home page everything looks fine. Main menu and backgrouns is part of the main content image (slider). As soon as I scroll down a white background appears in the top heading menu bar. I don’t want this. I need the same as in the starting position also on the other pages, that is the top header background to be part of the main contant with a transparent bar.

I want to edit the default Blog Post image (contributory picture), just read many threads and try to edit the follow code line

but that is not working the images have not the size I want to display and edit.
When I use the Investigate abilities of my browser they have this size:

But my edit is 800 x 600Also I try to choose different sizes in the Blog Style. But that do nothing.
In my opinion, when I edit the image size of the blog “Select custom image size for preview”
the image of the Blog Post must have the size I choose? Or is the function for something else?And what about the WordPress Media-Size, is there a edit to do or can I stay at default settings?

Then I woudln’t have to specify each single menu item number in the css, everytime there is a new main or sub menu entry.Something like

I get a reasonably good score from PageSpeed but YSlow and Pingdom mark the theme down heavily for such as:
Minify JavaScript
Minify CSS
Defer parsing of JavaScriptOther WP themes I’ve used in the past have recommended not touching JS or CSS as it messes them up – what’s the Enfold position?
The site uses WP Super Cache – have you got recommended settings for this? (I used to use W3 Total Cache but it’s too complex and messed the site up).
Are there plugins that can help? (And won’t mess up the site…)
Any advice welcome…
