    Hey connect4consulting,
    Try this code in the General Styling > Quick CSS field:

    #top .av_header_transparency .av-main-nav li a:hover .avia-menu-text, #top .av_header_transparency .av-main-nav li.current-menu-item > a > .avia-menu-text {
        color: #EA9137 !important;

    Hi everybody!

    I am using Enfold and The Events Calendar (both in its most recent version). So far, I modified settings and files for The Events Calendar directly in the main theme “config-events-calendar” folder
    /wp-content/themes/enfold/config-events-calendar/event-mod.css
    /wp-content/themes/enfold/config-events-calendar/views/single-event.php
    and the “tribe-events” folder
    /wp-content/themes/enfold/tribe-events/modules/meta/details.php
    /wp-content/themes/enfold/tribe-events/pro/modules/meta/additional-fields-php

    Now, I have switched to using the Enfold Child Theme, imported all settings from the parent theme and tried to re-add the necessary modifications for The Events Calendars.
    – Copying the “tribe-events” folder into the child themes folder worked fine
    – Copying the “config-events-calendaer” folder into the child themes folder DID NOT

    I’ve found a solution for the modification of the single-event.php file (see https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-and-tribe-events-calendar/#post-691070), but can not get the changes in event-mod.css to work. Whereever I put it within the child theme folder, it seems not to get read.

    I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance, Michael

    Ok. a bit more info:

    With the slider there’s a space added right after the slider but not repeated images.

    With the Gallery there’s a Prev/Next and number of images added up on top of the main image and then all of the images, repeating the main one are displayed with no space after.

    Any help/suggestions from the amazing Enfold theme is ore than welcome!! :)

    I will be leaving this particular page with both types of image displays as not too many people visit this site but I’d love to have it solved before I install it on the big sites ;)

    Warmly,

    Havi

    Hey guys,

    Can you please help me fix this error? When I use masonry gallery —> Sortable? —> First option. it appears fine. But I can’t click on the categories.

    It seems to fix when the browsers gets smaller.

    *One more update: When I change the “logo and main menu” layout in enfold to one that isn’t “Top header”, this issue goes away. It seems to happen when the chosen layout is “Top Header”. Which is what I currently have and want to keep.*

    Hi,
    I have just looked at your tests again, http://www.webpagetest.org/result/170319_WX_SFZ/ and you now have a B for Compress Images, see here to improve: http://www.webpagetest.org/result/170319_WX_SFZ/3/performance_optimization/#compress_images
    I wanted to show you this first because yesterday on Pagespeed Insights you scored 3, today you score 58! That’s a huge jump, and on Desktop your at 70! Congrats! Now when you look at CNN’s 57 https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fcnn.com%2F your doing great.

    Now the thing is “Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript” is going to show for any site that uses JS, above the fold, such as a slider. Pages load slower with JS in the head, but Pagespeed Insights gives a warning with JS in the footer. But many believe that this is not that big when factoring the total page speed.

    I hope I have been helpful, here is a little more: https://wp-rocket.me/blog/the-truth-about-google-pagespeed-insights/

    In reply to: Menu in mobile view

    Hey Tobias,

    Here are the styles you can put in themes/enfold/css/custom.css or in QuickCss:

    @media only screen and (min-width: 760px) and (max-width: 960px) {
      /* Add your Mobile Styles here */

      .html_header_top .av_bottom_nav_header .main_menu ul:first-child > li a {
          height: 50px;
          line-height: 32px;
          padding-top: 10px;
          font-size: 16px;
      }

    }

    .cart_dropdown {
      display: none;
    }

    This should resolve your issues.

    Let us know if this was hrlpful

    Topic: Layout Issues

    in forum Enfold
    iclo

    Hi there!

    For my blog posts, I’d like to have a similar layout as this post: http://www.sidetracked.com/maniflowba/

    Which means:
    1/ Full width header // OK
    2/ Full screen image at the top // OK
    3/ Almost full width 2/3 + 1/3 Texts (in order to let some space for the previous/next post button on the side)
    4/ Almost full width images (in order to let some space for the previous/next post button on the side)

    For some reasons I can’t get exactly what I’d like for 3/ and 4/.

    This is what I did:
    3/ I have added a grid row with two cells (2/3 + 1/3). Then I’ve added a text block in each cell and edited the margin of each cell in order to let some space for the previous/next post button on the side. Problem is, there is a left/right margin around the text in the 2/3 cell. Because of this, the text in this cell is kind of in the middle of the cell and not aligned on the left. There’s no such margins on the 1/3 cell. I think I found where to change that in my child theme style.css.
    4/ I have added a grid row with a 1/1 cell. Then I’ve added an image and edited the margin of the cell in order to let some space for the previous/next post button on the side.

    I’m sure there’s a better way than editing every single margin of every single cell to have the same content width on all the website (editing the general layout in the theme options won’t change anything as far as text in blog posts goes).

    Merci :)

    Hi,
    Try this code in the General Styling > Quick CSS field:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 426px){
        #top .fullsize .template-blog .post .entry-content-wrapper {
        text-align: left !important;
        font-size: 18px !important;
    }}

    Hey orangedragin,
    I took a look at your site and believe you were asking to add your news page to your top menu, so I did this though Menus > Manage Locations. I hope this helps, I don’t know about the third-party plugin Zen-Menu-Logic, or it’s advantages, but maybe you’ll find some tips here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/zen-menu-logic

    Hi
    Thank you, for quick answer, works great.
    Last question: if I want to increase font size on mobile only should I use as follow code?

    @media only screen and (max-width: 426px){
        #top .fullsize .template-blog .post .entry-content-wrapper {
        text-align: left !important;
        font-size: 18px;
    }}

    Hey hostedbymarc,

    Try to replace this css code that you used:

    #top .avia-slide-wrap {
        padding: 30px;
    }

    to this one:

    #top .avia-slideshow li {
        box-sizing: border-box;
        padding: 30px;
    }

    Hope this helps :)

    Best regards,

    Hey Krzysztof,
    To change your text alignment from justify to left on mobile devices (max 425px) Try this code in the General Styling > Quick CSS field:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 426px){
        #top .fullsize .template-blog .post .entry-content-wrapper {
        text-align: left !important;
    }}

    Try adding this css code in Quick CSS (located in Enfold > General Styling):

    Hope this helps. :)

    Hey swotmarketing,

    You can turn on Custom CSS Classes on modules: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/turn-on-custom-css-field-for-all-alb-elements/ then for example you have 3 pricing tables create 1/3 layout and fill in a pricing table with 1 column add content and add a class in the Custom CSS Classes field. Put for example table1 as class for the first table then add this css code in Quick CSS (located in Enfold > General Styling):

    #top .table1 .pricing-table li.avia-heading-row {
        background-color: blue;
        color: white;
        border-color: blue;
    }

    Just adjust the colors as you see fit. Hope this helps.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hey Ed,

    I opened your page today and I see all the rules from custom.css on top and working. I would suggest this few modifications to them in custom.css.

    .search-result-counter {
        width: 180px;
        height: 180px;
        margin: 0;
        padding: 0
    }
    .search-result-counter img {
        border-radius: 0!important;
        min-width: 180px;
    }

    Let us know if you have any more questions.
    Best regards,
    Victoria

        font-size: 13px;
        min-width: 140px;
        width: 160px;
        }
    }

    body.page.page-id-981 #av_section_4 .avia-builder-el-first {
      margin-right: -6%;
      margin-left: -1%;
    }

    body.page.page-id-981 div .av_one_fifth {

    }

    body.page.page-id-981 #av_section_4.avia-button.avia-size-large {

        font-size: 13px;
