    Hey mariajoensen!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Add this to the functions.php file:

    add_action( 'ava_after_main_container', 'ava_after_main_container_mod', 10, 2 );
    function ava_after_main_container_mod() {
    	echo '<div class="main_color container_wrap sidebar_right_mobile"><div class="container"><aside class="sidebar sidebar_right smartphones_sidebar_active alpha units" role="complementary" itemscope="itemscope" itemtype="https://schema.org/WPSideBar"><div class="inner_sidebar">';
    	avia_sidebar_menu(true);
    	echo '</div></div></div></div>';
    }

    After that, add this to the Quick CSS field:

    @media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
      /* Add your Desktop Styles here */
    	.sidebar_right_mobile { display: none; }
    }

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi
    Metadaten die man über die Felder von wpSEO eingibt werden nicht übernommen.

    Beispiel:
    http://enfold.rightlight-studios.de/seo-test/

    Eingabe
    Title: “ICH BIN EIN SEO-TEST”
    Beschreibung:”Das hier ist die META-DESCRIPTION des SEO-Tests”
    Keywords: “Keyword 1, lkeywords 2”

    Ergebnis:
    NICHTS davon wird übernommen / ausgeben.

    Hi support team,
    On http://letsplaykw.ca/store we are seeing an error that says ‘Notice: Undefined index: QUERY_STRING in /hermes/bosoraweb092/b2700/ipg.letsplaykwca/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-woocommerce/config.php on line 1116’

    I have deleted and re-uploaded a fresh version of the Enfold theme but this didn’t correct the problem. Can you please help us determine what is causing this error?

    Hi!

    You can change the thumbnail size or the preview image size of the ajax slideshow with this on functions.php:

    add_action( 'avf_portfolio_preview_template_params', 'avf_portfolio_preview_template_params_mod', 10, 2 );
    function avf_portfolio_preview_template_params_mod($params, $entry) {
     if($params['method'] == 'slideshow') {
    	 $params['preview_size'] = 'gallery';
     }
     return $params;
    }

    Change the “preview_size” value which is currently set to “gallery” (845x684px). Select among these thumbnail sizes:

    $avia_config['imgSize']['widget'] 			 	= array('width'=>36,  'height'=>36);						// small preview pics eg sidebar news
    $avia_config['imgSize']['square'] 		 	    = array('width'=>180, 'height'=>180);		                 // small image for blogs
    $avia_config['imgSize']['featured'] 		 	= array('width'=>1500, 'height'=>430 );						// images for fullsize pages and fullsize slider
    $avia_config['imgSize']['featured_large'] 		= array('width'=>1500, 'height'=>630 );						// images for fullsize pages and fullsize slider
    $avia_config['imgSize']['extra_large'] 		 	= array('width'=>1500, 'height'=>1500 , 'crop' => false);	// images for fullscrren slider
    $avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] 		 	= array('width'=>495, 'height'=>400 );						// images for portfolio entries (2,3 column)
    $avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio_small'] 		= array('width'=>260, 'height'=>185 );						// images for portfolio 4 columns
    $avia_config['imgSize']['gallery'] 		 		= array('width'=>845, 'height'=>684 );						// images for portfolio entries (2,3 column)
    $avia_config['imgSize']['magazine'] 		 	= array('width'=>710, 'height'=>375 );						// images for magazines
    $avia_config['imgSize']['masonry'] 		 		= array('width'=>705, 'height'=>705 , 'crop' => false);		// images for fullscreen masonry
    $avia_config['imgSize']['entry_with_sidebar'] 	= array('width'=>845, 'height'=>321);		            	// big images for blog and page entries
    $avia_config['imgSize']['entry_without_sidebar']= array('width'=>1210, 'height'=>423 );						// images for fullsize pages and fullsize slider

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hey!

    Alright. Please edit framework > php > class-framework-widgets.php. Find this code on line 497:

    $link = get_post_meta( $the_id  ,'_portfolio_custom_link', true) != "" ? get_post_meta( $the_id ,'_portfolio_custom_link_url', true) : get_permalink();

    Below, add this code:

    if($format == 'link')
                                               {
                                                    $current_post = array();
                                                    $current_post['content'] = get_the_content();
                                                    $current_post['title'] =  get_the_title();

                                                    if(function_exists('avia_link_content_filter'))
                                                    {
                                                        $current_post = avia_link_content_filter($current_post);
                                                    }

                                                    $link = $current_post['url'];
                                                }

    Cheers!

    #426759

    Hey!

    Try adding this at the very end of your child theme functions.php file:

    function custom_add_to_head() {
    ?>
    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://fast.fonts.net/jsapi/7eae90d8-4c8b-4170-b63b-78887d1ce8f1.js”></script>
    <link type=”text/css” rel=”stylesheet” href=”http://fast.fonts.net/cssapi/7eae90d8-4c8b-4170-b63b-78887d1ce8f1.css”/>
    <?php
    }
    add_action('wp_head', 'custom_add_to_head');

    Then add this to Quick CSS to assign the fonts to the elements you want:

    h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6{
    	font-family:’FuturaW01-ExtraBoldCond_774896′;
    }
    body, p{
    	font-family:’Futura W01 Medium';
    }

    Cheers!
    Josue

    Please the message that is showing in my front page, can some one help me to fix it?

    “Warning: extract() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /home/dyprintingbox/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/productslider.php on line 203

    I tried to make the only the product categories to display on my home page, so I add some short code “array(
    ‘number’ => ‘null’,
    ‘orderby’ => ‘name’,
    ‘order’ => ‘ASC’,
    ‘columns’ => ‘4’,
    ‘hide_empty’ => ‘1’,
    ‘parent’ => ”,
    ‘ids’ => ”
    )
    to my quick CSS, but it doesn’t work, after I delete this short code. The warning message is showing and I wouldn’t able to edit my home page anymore.

    Can someone help me to fix it. Thank you so much!!!

    I got an answer from WPML and they just released an update for the WPML string stranslation plugin that solves this issue.

    https://wpml.org/forums/topic/custom-post-type-slug-translation-not-working-in-3-1-9-4/#post-592399

    And it seems to me it works great.

    What I have done:

    1. Headed to FTP wp-content/plugins/wpml-string-translation/inc/slug-translation.php
    2. located the line 262 in that file
    3. changed this:

    1
    $slug_this = trim( $post_type->name, ‘/’ );
    to this:

    1
    $slug_this = trim($post_type->rewrite[‘slug’], ‘/’);

    I think they included this fix in the latest release.

    I have previously send a access to you. I remember you in a second message.

    Hey!

    your progress bar does NOT appear for me on the page you have send:

    So it’s logical that there is no progress bar shortcode in your editor.
    Please add a progress bar they way Josue mentioned here to http://www.scenedartiste.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=3374&action=edit so a progress bar will appear on your site.

    Best regards,
    Andy

    Hi!
    You previously helped me with this website http://www.weldingspace.com to add the icons with the number and email. I tried to do the same for this other website. http://www.enghupaluminium.com. I added the stuff into the custom css but I cannot find the code that I should add to the functions.php

    the hp number should be 97638589, email should be (Email address hidden if logged out)

    how should I go about doing so?

    Creating a form from scratch and using a code block with the following code seems to work, but how could I put this into the theme so that it’ll work with other forms? The author here says that you can put it into the footer.php file: https://nerdygoodness.wordpress.com/2012/07/13/auto-searching-for-places-using-google-maps-javascript-api-v3-places-autocomplete/

    <!– Google Maps API Stuff –>

    <script src=”http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false&libraries=places&#8221; type=”text/javascript”></script>
    <script type=”text/javascript”>
    function initialize() {
    var input = document.getElementById(‘location_field’);
    var autocomplete = new google.maps.places.Autocomplete(input);
    }

    google.maps.event.addDomListener(window, ‘load’, initialize);

    </script>

    1. Using one of your suggestions(#378873), I put below attempt into functions.php, hoping to put a color line under the menu.

    add_filter(‘avf_title_args’, ‘avf_title_args_append’, 1);

    function avf_title_args_append($args) {
    //if(is_home() || is_front_page()) return;
    //$banner = “<div class=’container_wrap append-content’>”;
    $banner = “<div class=’container_wrap append-content’>”;
    //$banner = “<div class=’container’>”;
    $banner = “<div class=’container’ style=’background-color:yellow!important;width:100%!important;min-width:100%!important;’>”;
    //for testing, put in the span — was just “banner here”.
    $banner .= ‘<span>For avf_title_args FILTER HERE</span>’;
    $banner .= “</div>”;
    $banner .= “</div>”;
    $args[‘html’] = “<div class='{class} title_container’>cat<div class=’container’>dog<{heading} class=’main-title entry-title’>lizard{title}</{heading}>{additions}</div></div>Bannerrighthere{$banner}”;
    return $args;
    }

    This filter does indeed create the color line (the cat, dog, lizard, bannerrighthere — and odd colors — were to help me figure out my problem and your solution,)

    2. But…since I want to hide the title and the breadcrumbs, I then went into Enfold -> Header and turned both of them off.

    3. As soon as I turn off title/breadcrumbs… the #1 color line attempt — which DID work — disappears. Is there a way to do both the first and second items?

    4. Also, is it possible to I put in an easyslider and change its top so it will “sit” up into the (hopefully created) color line?

    Please let me know if you have any other ideas — I did try some of the other message suggestions in the knowledgebase, but they seemed to have the same idiosyncracy of disappearing when the title and breadcrumbs are hidden.

    Thanks!

    Hey!
    Thanks for your answer.

    I worked on this and now i have a different solution:
    i created a custom field (with ACF) “product_url” and edited the masonry_entries.php like this
    instead of line 734:
    $this->loop[$key]['url'] = get_permalink($id);

    i have:

    if(get_field('product_url',$id)){
    $this->loop[$key]['url'] = get_field('product_url',$id);
    } else {
    $this->loop[$key]['url']= get_permalink($id);
    };

    This works pretty well.
    Now my question is: how can i hook this snippet into my childtheme?
    (i know i can’t just overwrite masonry_entries.php because it only works with template files – so there has to be some kind of hook… but i can’t get it!)

    Thanks for your help!!

    Hey Ismael,

    Thank you very much for the temporary fix idea! I didn’t think of that one.

    Re your “updateproof” note: Yes, I did indeed realize it could be a potential cause of problems. Which is why I manually update the child theme’s table.php file after each Enfold update and then remove the +1 again. Which, in itself, makes updating Enfold a bit of a hassle. And, for now, the temp buttons fix requires a manual update of buttons.php as well :)

    To answer your question: I have indeed tried to make the tables scrollable. But since some of my tables are quite large, this makes them very wide, requiring lots of vertical scrolling… which I think isn’t very mobile user-friendly and doesn’t look that good. Which is why I prefer the tables to be responsive :)

    Hopefully Kriesi manages to work something out, which fixes the issues caused by the +1 in tables.php. As I’m sure that the +1 is there for a reason, so removing it doesn’t seem like the best fix.

    Maybe this user’s fix is the correct fix (add an extra +1 instead of removing it): https://kriesi.at/support/topic/bug-table-headers-applied-incorrectly-on-media-query/#post-401260 This user’s fix seems to make sense, as each of the 2 $counter var mentions will now be increased with 1. Perhaps this fix is the key to fixing the responive table issue :)

    Thanks again,

    Ralph

    PS: How can I post those nice code blocks as seen in this post: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/viewing-tables-on-mobile-devices-confusing-order-of-items-displayed/#post-417766

    Andy, thanks but doesn’t work.

    I changed php memory limit boht first in .htacces alone, and then in wp:config alone as it is explained in link above. Also I try modifiyng wp-includes/default-constants.php as it is explained in this link
    http://www.garri2.com/blog/aumentar-la-memoria-limite-de-php-en-wordpress-40mb-a-64mb-o-mas/

    If you read what I wrote yesterdeay, I deleted Enfolfd folder an upload new fresh Enfold files from Codecanyon,net servers, not once but twice times, with no luck!

    Please team, my page is so important for me, and I don’t know why is this happening, but I need a solution,

    Just in case of reference, I’m testing in the page Rikard has created today “Kriesi Test” and this is the link the new windows shows up (when I click on Preview button)

    Waiting for your support,

    Thanks again

    Hi,

    I am getting a fatal error message when I try to enter to my site’s wp-admin panel.

    Error message => Fatal error: Call to undefined method SitePress::user_lang_by_authcookie() in /home/deppotc/public_html/cromateknik.com/wp-content/plugins/wpml-string-translation/inc/functions.php on line 758

    Web site link => http://cromateknik.com/wp-admin

    Please help me asap.

    Hi!
    same problem: changing / adding the code at line 577 still only shows “Read More”, but not the content of the excerpt itself.

    I think because above in the magazine.php the $excerpt is not defined
    $excerpt = "";
    and some lines below, if ($style == ‘small’) it will remain empty.

    Right? Any solution? (’cause I’m not the greatest coder and wont’t play domino… :-)

    Cheers,
    Yeti
