    That’s where I run into the issue. Even if all the images are the same proportions, they start to stagger.

    #1471805

    Thanks so much for the replies. However, both of these yield the opposite result: instead of removing the arrows, it keeps the arrows and loads text that says “the image cannot be loaded”.

    #1471802

    The easiest way to do this is if the images are in this ratio ;) – why force something via css that can already be created this way during creation.

    #1471801

    We’re pretty close, thank you!

    Here’s my challenge with this – the size of each image needs to be relatable. In other words, the 16 oz can might be a different height as the bigger can, but can be the same width. The two kegs need to be the same height, but different widths. That way when you see them side by side, the stroke/outline of each image isn’t so varied, and the smaller can doesn’t look proportionally different. If that makes sense? Which is why originally I had the images saved at the same height, so that no matter the width one image wouldn’t look like it has bolder lines than the others.

    This would be my ideal outcome: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10dIXwgP-n5RsbaMu9o90a2UOv8hcbD7_/view?usp=sharing

    @Rikard
    If I make the images different heights, they won’t align at the bottom of each image: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10bS4rg7TflgtamOLRp5ZtXWsLFI2JCfZ/view?usp=sharing

    Hi Guenni007.
    I understand your point of view but the pages are still under construction and therefore not public.
    But a solution can also be evaluated at https://enfold.webers-webdesign.de/enfold-photography-portfolio/, isn’t it?

    If you would like to get a reduction as indicated with the arrows in this image

    how could you do it?

    Hey Kelly,

    The keg images seems to have a lot of white space on top, could you try removing that to see if it helps?

    Hi there! I’m having such a strange issue and I’m hoping you can help!

    I have a page with multiple columns, and in one of the columns I need 4 images w/ captions displayed side by side. They are the same height but slightly different widths, inserted within an Avia text box. The last 2 images are showing up slightly below the 2 left images. Below is the raw code as it’s in the text box, links to the screenshots & page link in the Private content below:

    [caption id="attachment_24647" align="alignleft" width="50"]<img class="wp-image-24647" src="https://laawtest1.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/19oz-Can.png" alt="19.2oz Can" width="50" height="145" /> 19.2oz Can[/caption]

    [caption id="attachment_24659" align="alignleft" width="50"]<img class="wp-image-24659" src="https://laawtest1.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/16oz-Can-1.png" alt="16oz Can" width="50" height="145" /> 16oz Can[/caption]

    [caption id="attachment_24658" align="alignleft" width="70"]<img class="wp-image-24658" src="https://laawtest1.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/HalfBarrel-Keg-1.png" alt="Half Barrel Keg" width="70" height="145" /> Half Barrel[/caption]

    [caption id="attachment_24660" align="alignleft" width="51"]<img class="wp-image-24660" src="https://laawtest1.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Sixtel-Keg-1.png" alt="Sixtel Keg" width="51" height="145" /> Sixtel[/caption]

    When I remove the captions, the images align just fine.

    The weird thing is, when I inspect the section it’s showing a line break between the 2nd & 3rd image, where the alignment goes awry. But I don’t see it anywhere else and I can’t figure out why it’s adding that.

    Thanks in advance for your help!!

    #1471692

    on Advanced tab of the Element : under Performance – choose : “Do not use Responsive Images”
    if you do not have that choice: put this to your child-theme functions.php:

    add_theme_support('avia_show_alb_responsive_image_option');

    then the webp will do their job. For some reason, the images from the srcset are superimposed.

    It works!
    Thanks for your time Guenni007.
    About Mike’s proposal “A color section added padding/margin to the footer page, or you can try adding the 3 columns without a color section in your footer page.”
    Footer height remains an issue.

    Using only widgets consisting of 3 lines of text and a title, there is a huge amount of empty space both above and below.
    https://img.savvyify.com/image/image.97nP6

    if I use a page by replacing the footer and socket, the space at the top is just right, but there is too much unused space below.
    A footer like this is not aesthetically pleasing.

    #1471689

    maybe it is because your images are no jpg images. They are webp files.
    it should work with webp too, but i do not know how browsers act with a different file extension.

    Edit: hm – the webp (renamed) do not work – and it does not work with webp graphics.
    I don’t quite understand this yet, because the images viewed in the Pure Browser are both sharp.

    Hi There!
    I tried to set a before-after image, unfortunately the after image is extremely blurred and I can’t change it. It’s not the images, the quality of the images is the same and when I swap them, the other image is blurred… what’s the problem, what am I doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance

    if you only have a slideshow – without buttons and without links on the slides – you can have left side image: prev – and right side image : next
    only by css:
    (the navigation arrows must be selected as navigation controls – but we do not show them)

    .avia-slideshow-arrows.avia-slideshow-controls {
      height: 100% !important;
      width: 100% !important;
      display: block;
      position: absolute;
      top: 0;
      left: 0;
    }

    #top .avia-slideshow-arrows a {
      width: 50% !important;
      height: 100%;
      top: 0;
      margin:0 !important;
      padding: 0 !important;
      opacity: 0 !important;
    }

    #top .avia-slideshow-arrows a.prev-slide {
      left: 0;
    }

    #top .avia-slideshow-arrows a.next-slide {
      right: 0;
    }

    if you like to have that arrows – we must have that css in addition:
    (and remove the opacity : 0 above)

    #top .avia-slideshow-arrows a.prev-slide:before {
      text-align: left;
    }

    #top .avia-slideshow-arrows a.next-slide:before {
      text-align:right;
    }

    #top .avia-slideshow-arrows a:before  {
      top: 50%;
      width: 30px;
      height: 60px;
    }

    #top .avia-slideshow-arrows a.prev-slide:before  {
      left: 20px;
      padding-left: 20px
    }

    #top .avia-slideshow-arrows a.next-slide:before  {
      right: 20px;
      left: auto;
      padding-right: 20px
    }

    see css solution in action : https://webers-testseite.de/easy-slider-navigation/

    but if you have buttons inside those slides we have to do it via child-theme functions.php:
    ( without the css above – but without prev next option – but you can use buttons on sliders )

    Hi Guenni,

    Yes, is only a slider images we don’t need links.
    The idea is remove the next prevue arrows and only advance to next images when click on the image.
    Could you help me to do that?
    Many thanks!

    BR,

    Antonio.

    #1471616

    the crux is – if you have links on your images – they will interfere with prev – next navigation.
    If no links are assigned to the images, then it is possible to have left side prev – right side next.

    if you got no additional links on the images but buttons inside the slide we can have next slide for image click.

    Hi

    For whatever reason lately hero images are not seen until I hover the images with the cursor.
    There is a white space where the images should show up but will not show up before I hover the images.

    What is going on?

    Btw
    The backend is also extremly slow.

    Was building a page template fine over the week day last week while at work, and in the weekend at home I noticed that some styles were reset or something. I already had create a page template before hand, which I duplicated over the weekend.

    The background gridlines you can apply to page blocks suddenly stopped showing up in the page block template library and on my actual pages. When I click on the page block, The gridlines show up, but soon as I click somewhere else; they disappear. So on a live page, those grid line patterns are no where to be seen.

    Below is a link to a quick image of what I see when clicking on the page block.

    Hello, I’ve been using a few enfold licenses for years and for some reason it’s been a few months since my personal portfolio page is experiencing incredibly page load speeds compared to my previous experiences with your theme. I haven’t installed any weird/new/big plugin, all images have been optimized, I’ve got a cache plugin installed as recommended and my hosting service does not seem to find the problem. Can you kindly please take a look and let me know what is happening? I’ve been using Google Page Insights to try to diagnose my site but I haven’t been able to find the issue as to why is it loading so slow…
    I’ve provided credentials and I hope you guys can help me, I just renewed my support license since this issue is something I have not been able to catch at all…

    Thank you

    I have a client site with tons of images in a masonry gallery, 300+.

    After upgrading Enfold(v.6.0.6) & WP(v.6.7) recently, the vertical scroll bar inside the popup when adding images to the masonry gallery changed to a minimal style (just a thin gray line rather than the normal thicker line with a box inside it) and the “home” and “end” keyboard shortcut keys no longer work to instantly jump to the top and bottom of the gallery. The thicker normal scrollbar is normal everywhere else on the back and front ends. I need the shortcut keys to work, otherwise I have to “drag” an image all the end to one end of the gallery manually and it takes forever!

    Is there any way to get the normal non-minimal scrollbar back for the gallery popup? Using Avia Layout Editor, running firefox on Windows, but I get the same issue in Edge and Brave. I can share a screenshot, just not sure how to do that in this post.

    Please tell me there is a solution. Thanks.

    found the issue – videos do not play if the phone is in battery saving mode!
    HI
    I have a site I built a few years ago with background videos at the top of the pages, and they all seemed to work fine, also on mobile.
    I have layersliders with the mobile videos on certain pages, and just a color section background video on the front page.
    Now I am updating the site and moved some of the videos around (swapped pages) and if I look on mobile the front page comes up with a still image of the video with a play arrow that doesn’t work.
    The other pages seem to load the video but it doesn’t play. I know some browsers don’t autoplay videos on mobile, but they were working before.
    Can you take a look at this and tell me the best way to set this up?

    thanks
    Nancy

    Dear Rikard,
    thank you for your answer.
    The problem is not in the frontend, but only when you want to create a layer slider in the backend.
    The plugin cannot be found in the sidebar, but it can be found in the editor. When I want to use it and create a slider, the error message appears.
    I have taken screenshots, but I cannot find a way to upload image files here.
    best regards, Conny

    In reply to: Left side menu layout

    Hey icarogioiosi,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    The size of the logo will depend on the uploaded image, but we can adjust it with css. Unfortunately, there are no available options to adjust the width of the menu or the line spacing between the menu items, but again, we can adjust these with css.

    Example:

    .html_header_sidebar #top #header {
        width: 400px;
    }

    .html_header_left #main {
        margin-left: 400px;
    }

    .html_header_sidebar #header .av-main-nav > li > a {
        line-height: 2em;
        height: auto;
        padding: 30px 3px;
        margin: 0 auto;
    }

    Best regards,
    Ismael
