Hallo,
1) Um ein Portfolio anzulegen bitte zuerst mehrere Portfolio Entries hinzufügen. Bei den “Ajax Portfolio Preview Settings” müsst ihr auf den “Add Preview Images” Button klicken um die Bildergalerie zu erstellen. Dann rechts daneben “Gallery” oder “Image List” auswählen. Das Beitragsbild wird als erstes Vorschaubild verwendet – dh der User muss zuerst dieses Bild anklicken, damit Enfold die Galerie mit ajax nachlädt und anzeigt. Für jede Galerie muss ein eigener “Portfolio Entry” angelegt werden und die “Ajax Portfolio Preview Settings” entsprechend gesetzt sein. Nicht vergessen, dass ale Portfiolio Entries zumindest einer Kategorie zugeordnet sein müssen.
2) Dann zur Seite gehen, wo die Ajax Galerie angezeigt werden soll. Dort zum Layoput Builder wechseln und das “Portfolio” Element auswählen. Dann die entsprechende Kategorie in den Portfolio Optionen auswählen und bei “Link Handling” das Ajax Portfolio auswählen. Das Endergebnis kann dann so aussehen: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio/portfolio-ajax/ – es kommt natürlich auf die Bilder & die Darstellungsoptionen an (image List, Slideshow, etc.).
After a recent upgrade I get a “flash” between slides.
It seems to be the slides background image that loads with its give transition, then a quick “flash” before the layers start. I do not want this flash to occur. How can I turn it off?
The demo site is not like that – the demo content site wich follows the theme is like that.

I’m not sure where you get that scroll. Maybe a plugin is messing with the theme’s css. Please add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS:

Hi,
Modify the Gallery Element, look for “Gallery Preview Image Size” > select “No Scaling (Original Width X Original Height)”. Regenerate the thumbnails to reset them to the original image size from the time you uploaded them: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

I was wondering the same thing.
I did as you suggested and the image works fine, but how do I add text to it?
I put a text box over the image, made it large and bold but it doesn’t show up as well as the demo example.

Your logo shrinks even on Google Chrome. Did you modify anything on the theme files to change the logo?

Also, when I use html in the paragraph boxes, it looks perfect in preview but is not reading live. I need this so I can put a form in there as well as text. I also need to put a call to action button at the end of the nav bar AFTER the search bar. This does not work, the social icons do not show up at all, the header is set to small fixed and is in it’s correct position (https://www.dropbox.com/s/34bqq0yz63cntmr/Image11.jpg) so I need the social icons to the side vertically and fixed, and need to be able to change their color.

For most media linkes (images, youtube, vimeo etc) the theme uses a lightbox script to grab them and open up the media in a lightbox automatically. If you want to prevent this you just need to add the noLightbox class to the link like this:

Topic: Editor not Working
Hi,
I just installed Enfold in a new WordPress installation in an Amazon EC2 instance.
I am having problems when I try to create or edit new pages. For example, if I create an Icon Box, changes in the the icon box title or in the icon image are not reflected when I update the page. But they are reflected in the content (text) area.
Similar thing with a notification: title will not change but text will.
Can you help me?

Topic: Disable lightbox effect
Hello All,
Hope you are doing well. I’m running into issues with adjusting the thumbnails in a gallery. I have them displaying in Small Portfolio (260×185) and they load relatively quickly. However, the thumbnails are all cropped from the center, resulting in peoples’ faces cut off, etc. I have gone into the “Edit Image” function and cropped the photo to fit within those dimensions. I made sure to toggle the button that says to “Apply changes to Thumbnail only.
After doing that however the thumbnails within the gallery remain unchanged. I’ve try some crazy thumbnail edits to see if they are reflected in the gallery but they aren’t.
How can I adjust the thumbnails so that they display correctly in the gallery?

I’m having the same problem. We have 6 images loaded, but only the first 2 will show up. The pointer bars don’t work and the images don’t fade. It was working a week ago, but now, nope.

1. was wondering 2 things. I want to use the blog-page as a feed (showing all of the post on the feed page) witout the feature image on top. Is there a way to remove this and still keep the feature image? I want to keep it for “you might like this” feed and other feeds. i feel this could be an otion when choosing the look of the blog maby?
2. My blogposts look like crap in firefox. in safari they look ok, but in firefox they will not adjust to the blog with, and does not look good…What to do? I tried to search the forums and found some codes (i really like the qouick-kode thingy as i´m not exactly loving the coding stuff), but they did not help at all.

I have created a portfolio using the gallery schema sort of like the sample in the dummy data.
I loaded up 5 images. The actual portfolio page looks fine. There is a marge image and string of smaller images immediately below.
However there is no thumbnail on the actually portfolio edit page where all portfolios are listed together. And there is no thumbnail in the recent projetcs strip shown at the bottom of the site page. Is this images self generated of am I missing something? The thumbs from the dummy data show up fine.

Topic: Internet Explorer
I am using Enfold on this site for Pop Scholars – http://www.popscholars.com/
On Internet Explorer the menu goes to the mobile menu and shrinks the logo down to it’s smaller size and the image I have in the sidebar is blown up to full size.
Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Thanks for the fixes. The font fix worked; the bullet fix didn’t. The code for the bullets places a bullet outside the icon image as well as in the icon element text. See http://talentdev.valiantlane.com/resources.
The only place I want the bullets is inside the text for the icon element. I want only the icon next to the icon element title. How would I do that?
