Hi,
I like the fact that on my post my feature image is on the top left corner. But I find it too big and as a consequence my post looks too narrow…And I find it not pleasant to read.
I cannot use big feature image as I don’t have nice pictures sometimes.
How can I disable that small picture image ? Or How can I make it smaller?

Devin,
I tried switching to the Twenty-Thirteen theme and wasn’t able to duplicate the issue there. I also tried a different premium theme that I purchased earlier called Astrum from Purethemes and I wasn’t able to duplicate the problem in that theme either.
Hi,
For the moment I am using a form in the advanced layout of a post, but I need more options in the form (like images next to checkboxes etc, ), and I want the form input stored in the database.
Which form builder plugin works well with enfold?
Thanks in advance,
Sara
Although I was enthusiastic of the theme when I purchased it and I still find it fantastic, I’m having lots of trouble with the sliders. All of them! I made no change to original theme’s file but still I can’t understand what’s wrong ! On ThemeForest site the demo was ok but not on my site.
In order:
– EASY SLIDER: is the only one that works UNTIL the 2nd slide. Starting from 3rd slide nothing happens independently if you loaded 4,5,6 …images, besides, even if the autorotation is set as active, it remains on the 2nd slide and does not change even if you click on right/left arrows or on small round navigation buttons !
– FULLWIDTH SLIDER: this is even worse as doesn’t work at all! no images, no autorotation, no manual click back and forth! for the image I can only see a question mark and that’s all !
– ADVANCED LAYERSLIDER: same as the FULLWIDTH SLIDER
It’s about 2 weeks I’m running around this matter and watched lots of tutorials, read posts and looked for any useful hint to solve this issue but… now I feel really very frustrated as I can’t come out of this and I need to!
So I wonder also if instead of the above SLIDER solutions I could use another one that might work and giving not problems.
I’m aware the support is given on a voluntary basis and I can’t expect any ‘miracle’ but still hope for a solution!
I’m working on Enfold v.1.3.1 using the Dummy theme and already created the site structure (pages, menu ecc) and not wishing to restart the done work by installing an update that overwrites my previous work, I want and need to avoid it !!!
Thank you for your attention and, hopefully, help to solve this issue and to continue spreading the enthusiasm on this fantastic WP theme… if I can come out of this :)

Hi!
I am making an Advent blog with a total of 24 blog posts. I intend to post one each day through advent.
If I display my 24 posts as a grid on the front page, with both an image and the excerpt, it will look like the windows in childrens’ calendars.
Now – it would be nice if the blog post of the day (and earlier days) is clickable, but that those of the future are not, so that readers will not be able to cheat and have their chocolate too early!
Is there a practical way to achieve this?
I hope this was not too confusing..

Hey kudesign!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab
.single-post .template-blog .blog-meta,.single-post .fullsize .big-preview.single-big { display: none!important; }
Cheers!

Hi there,
Got an issue whereby the small circular images in the testimonials section don’t display 100% opacity. When it used to work I noticed there’s a nice fade in feature when your scrolling down the image moves up into position and fades in to 100% opacity. It looks like the fading in part doesn’t happen.
I’m using Safari 7.0 and have tried clearing cache then reloading but the issue remains.
I hope you can help.
Thanks

Hey Adolfo Lucio!
Personally I tried http://www.wpgmaps.com/ – I didn’t test all features/options but I tested some of them with Enfold and it worked pretty well. You can create multiple markers, create several maps with different markers, upload custom marker images, etc.

Peter
Hi!
There’s no archive/blog template which equals 1) + 2). You could use the “Single Author, big preview Pic (no author picture is displayed, feature image is big)” option: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/blog/blog-single-small/ but this template does not show such a big thumbnail on the left side and you’d need to customize the includes/loop-index.php file. Depending on your php/html skills I recommend to hire someone here: http://www.microlancer.com/ or here: http://kriesi.at/contact/customization
The single post layout (no.3) can be selected on the theme option page “Enfold > General Settings > Single Post Style”. I recommend to use the “Single post with big preview image (featured image)” option
Cheers!

Hey!
Yes, the solution sounds reasonable to me. You can also try to install a plugin like: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-retina-2x/ which will replace the default image with a high res version of the same image if it’s available.

Peter
Hey Torsten!
The favicon and logo url depends on your input and it’s not a theme issue. If you want to replace http with https go to Enfold > Theme settings and make sure that the image urls use the https:// protocol instead of http://. If you need to change it click into the text field of the logo/favicon url option and add the “s” to http://.
Cheers!
Peter
I figured it out was also able to swap the header image with something better.

Had to tweak the Quick Css code to this:
#top .social_bookmarks { display: none; }
#header_meta { display: none; }
#header_main .container, .main_menu ul:first-child > li > a {
height: 161px !important;
line-height: 161px !important;
}
#header_main_alternate .container, .main_menu ul:first-child > li > a {
height: 40px !important;
line-height: 40px !important;
}
Hi,
I am trying to work with this header on Enfold but it has become extremely frustrating. I am trying to bring my old website onto enfold in a similar layout.
My old site header: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s77/sh/a3712add-feaa-4b75-be27-a4cd97fce829/8b0b8500ebb98a8ad148cd2fe76973b4
My header right now under enfold: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s77/sh/6a62949a-ed26-42f7-a0fb-896a5c5d11e5/a09f2d943f3475df6f35efc189b39eb5
I have the header set to: “Header with social icons and bottom navigation”. I figured I could just remove the social icons and then implement the background image and have a bottom navigation header. My issue is the bottom navigation is looking awful because of the height of the bottom navigation. I’d like to be able to put in a bigger background image at the top (which I didn’t do yet) then have a nice bottom navigation.
Just look at the old site header and hope you can help me tweak this to make it similar. My site is offline at the moment so I don’t have a url to share.
This is my quick css coding:
#top .social_bookmarks { display: none; }
#header_meta { display: none; }
#header_main .container, .main_menu ul:first-child > li > a {
height: 120px !important;
line-height: 120px !important;
}
Thanks for your help.
Hi, new to this and getting my head around the theme. Can some one help where to look, if I want to remove the ‘Feature Image’ to show up in my single post, the auto resizing is interfering with my layout, and I’d like it not to show. I still want the ‘Feature Image’ to show in the small blog grid layout though. Thanks in advance, hope to find the solution soon!
Hi!
It may, what version of IE?
Regards,
Josue
Hey bogosavljev!
You can insert an Image element on the page. Add your logo. I think you can add the percentage value on the “Progress Bars Title”.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi MARKeting3!
That is the Color Section with a Text Block inside. Upload a background image then set the Background Position to fixed and the Background Repeat to Stretch to fit. You can add a unique css id to specify the height manually, example “awesome-section”. You can then add this on Quick CSS or custom.css:
#awesome-section {
height: 300px;
}
Best regards,
Ismael
thanks for the great tip! I’ll look into it soon.

Hey!
Take a look at this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/multiple-featured-images/installation/ (some coding may be required).
Cheers!
Josue
Hi Josue,
Thanks for your quick response! I’ve searched through a number of plugins just now and there doesn’t seem to be a solution which fits my needs. I’ll continue my quest though… But as an alternative, isn’t it possible to load 2 different images? One for the masonry preview and one for the actual image in the portfolio?
regards,
Maikel
I figured it out, I just resized my image and reloaded it. I thought there might be an auto resize for images.
Best — George
Hello!
I don’t think that would be possible without a custom modification to the Theme, maybe you would want to search for alternative Masonry plugin which include this feature. You can also request a customization quote here.
Cheers!
Josue
Hi,
I’ve placed service icons side by side and it looks like this on a desktop “image“. This is perfect here, however when viewed on a small screen the icons go out of the div: “image”.
Could you kindly help so that the icons remain in the div.
Thanks!

Hi!
I don’t know if it’s possible in the masonry portfolio, but I want to achieve the following effect:

So, the preview images have a colored layer over them with just a bit of transparency. And in an ideal world, I can define which color goes with which portfolio entry. Clicking on the preview then shows me the original image with a piece of text. Knowing we don’t live in an ideal world, is there any way of doing this without hiring a developer to program this?
Because I know it’s a lot to ask, can I alternatively use a different image for the preview (I create the effect in photoshop) and then link to another (larger) image which shows the ‘normal’ state of the picture. So can I let one picture link to another?
