    Hi, I need to set content and images after LayerSlider all in same line but after slider, the width is smaller. How to fix this? Thanks

    #193382

    Hey!

    Please add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS:

    #top .avia-logo-element-container img {
    width: auto;
    }

    #top .avia-smallarrow-slider .slide-image, #top .avia-logo-element-container img {
    width: auto;
    }

    Cheers!
    Ismael

    Hey!

    Please use this instead to remove the featured image:

    .single .small-preview {
    display: none !important;
    }

    The website seems to load properly on mobile devices including iPad when I check it here: http://responsinator.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.interiorinnovations.com.au%2Ftest%2F

    Cheers!

    Hello everybody,

    I’m on that client again now and still have the following issues:

    HEADER:

    – I’m using a non-fixed-header. The logo should be above the header. With the CSS code you gave me, there is way too much space between the logo, the nav-menu items and the content below. And there is a separator between the logo and the nav-menu (please see the current site)
    – the highlighted menu item (e.g. “angebot” when selected) should come in orange. The other menu items should stay grey
    – I would like to remove the colored small line under the selected menu item
    – I would like to add a small image to the header. It should be aligned right and linked to the contact (“kontakt”) page

    FONT:

    – The font style is too strong for the client’s taste. I tried to reduce it from 600 down to 500. But it appears to be only strong or not. Any other possibility?
    – I’d like to have two different font sizes in one line. How would I do that? E.g. “profile | SKCC” -> “profile” should come in 16px and “SKCC” in 30px
    – I’d like to highlight text with a specific color. Is it possible?

    LINKS:

    – can I remove the animated enfold arrow which appears when I mouse over a linked image

    The temporary website:
    http://webigami.de/skcc

    I really appreciate your help! Thak you all so much!!!! :)

    Cheers,
    Jan

    How do I remove the feature image from displaying when clicked through to a portfolio page?

    eg of Portfolio page http://rod.clientattractionpartners.com/portfolio-item/first-light-at-ocean-grove/

    I don’t want featured image to appear at top of page … however in order for portfolio item to show up on portfolio grid page I need to use the featured image.

    Hi!

    Im using the ajax preview and have moved up the “.portfolio-preview-content” to be in line with the preview image. The problem I have is when I have a long portfolio title, it collides with the switch portfolio arrows. When I inspect the title, it says that “header.entry-content-header” is 343px x 21px. Can I reduce that width?

    Hi!

    First please excuse the late reply. You can change the lightbox image size for all images easily. Open up /wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/masonry_entries.php and replace

    $this->loop[$key]['url'] =  $custom_url ? $custom_url : reset(wp_get_attachment_image_src($id, 'large'));

    with

    $this->loop[$key]['url'] =  $custom_url ? $custom_url : reset(wp_get_attachment_image_src($id, 'full'));

    I’ll ask Kriesi to include a filter in the next version which allows you to change the size with your child theme.

    Regards,
    Peter

    Hey codemode!

    If you want the featured image to show on pages, you need to switch to the Default Editor.

    Hey!

    You need to regenerate the thumbnails. Use this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

    Hi MarieAn!

    I’m sorry but I don’t think that this is possible without major customization. It is only possible to hide them. You can also use the Advance Layout Builder to replicate the look of the Blog Grid layout. Insert a 4 1/4 Columns element then add an Image element and a Text Block for each column. The Image element will work as the featured image, you can set the link manually to the designated post if it is available and set it to “No Link” for other post which is not. The Text Block below can work as the Title and you can add a little excerpt or summary below.

    Ismael

    How can I get am image in a LayerSlider to be full width? I have an 1140×769 slide in the background of a LayerSlider. It is set to slider width: 100%, slider height: 769. Set to full-screen, responsive. The theme is set to boxed. But the image displays as 1140×769, with large margins on the screen. How can I get it to stretch to full screen? I’ve scoured the documentation and think I have it set up right, but obviously something is not correct.

    Sorry, the site in in Maintenance Mode. If needed, I’ll provide access privately.

    I have added a featured image for a page (not a post) and for some reason, the featured images does not show at the top of the page. I have a right sidebar set on the page. Do featured images only work on posts or is there a trick?

    #193209

    In reply to: Logo Help

    If you’re talking about the repositioning, try to add some whitespace to the top and bottom of the image. Maybe 10 to 20 pixels would do the trick. Not by css, change the image itself. If you are aware of the pity image quality on mobile devices, generate several logos in different sizes. Place them into the media queries and you’re fine. :)

    How do I eliminate the circle & arrow icon that pops up over an image that I mouseover? I don’t mind the image getting lighter on mouseover – I just want to remove the circle. Thanks.

    #193156

    Hi Yigit,

    Didn’t work. If you scroll through here http://howdoidate.com/relationship-advice/ you’ll see that’s so.

    Thanks for the response, that s what I thought.
    So I made a new layout for certain posts, then I rendered a page with the parallax effect, then copied the code an inserted it in the new layout I made. This requires a little work and I could describe it more in details if someone needs it but now I have a parallax effect for some of the posts I want that use that custom look.

    I can now make a handful of looks where there is a large parallax background on the top of some of the posts. When a post is about “Restaurants” for example, I pick the layout that has the parallax effect with a large image of the inside of a restaurant. When I have a post about a movie theater I pick the layout for posts with a Large theater background image…maybe an idea to incorporate in a future version as custom posts layout is really helpful

    Hi!

    It should appear once you are displaying them but please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab to disable the animation

    .avia_transform .avia-testimonial .avia-testimonial-image { -webkit-transform: none;
    -moz-transform: none;
    -o-transform: none;
    transform: none;
    opacity: 1; }

    There’s no prob with Enfold overall. It’s by far the most advanced theme currently available anywhere with a custom framework (!). It’s got lesser options to mess around with compared to other themes, but this is for a good reason. Themes with custom frameworks (even those with some modified Options Framework fork) are quite a bit harder to understand than regular themes. The Avia Layout Builder is just one part and it is neccessary to render the page contents in a more or less different way than WordPress may support it with the core API.

    Also, nesting objects is a tough part and Enfold doesn’t support this out of the box. It can be done, but I guess a lot of people will run in unpredictable probs with that. This doesn’t stick to Enfold, it’s a major hurdle on WordPress. Nesting plain and easy shortcodes is one thing. Processing serveral layers of shortcodes with dozens of attribs and layouted/formatted contents way different.

    As a conclusion, you shouldn’t think about modifying an existing theme if you don’t have enough PHP knowledge. This raises furthermore, if the code is well shaped and object oriented.

    As answer to this thread:
    The blog can be easily modified by css. There’s no need to touch any of the source files at all. But by default, some views (selectable in builder) won’t provide a featured image in single view. A quick look at the corresponding file shows exactly, where the $thumb is placed and what to do. If you got some pretty much decent PHP/WordPress knowledge. As for the thumb sizes itself… well… Enfold generates a lot of different sizes. It’s easy to modify a existing or add a new thumbsize within functions.php.

    Note:
    You shouldn’t mess up your installation (and it is definitly messed up). Start fresh and always have a clean backup copy of the database. None of your so called errors/bugs occur on a newly installed WordPress with Enfold. Create a concept instead of messing around with features and stuff – this leads nowhere. Start easy and try to modify the simple tasks by css.

    As a personal hint I would recommend using a real CMS instead of a sloppy and pity blog solution for your project. But this could be even more complicated…

    I tried changing the following lines:

    132
    “std” => “portfolio”,

    229
    ‘image_size’ => ‘portfolio’,

    to

    132
    “std” => “masonry”,

    229
    ‘image_size’ => ‘masonry’,

    Still seeing a 200 x 140px image with the class “attachment-portfolio” ?

    Hi derek62!

    You can add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab and adjust as desired

    .avia-content-slider .slide-image { height: 200px; }

    It will set the height of images to 200px
    Best regards,

    .single-post .template-blog .blog-meta { display: none!important; }
