  • Hey vchemko!

    We’ll need to see an example of what you are trying to do with a screenshot or mock up as well as a live version of what you have now. I’m not clear on what it is you are trying to accomplish fully so just a bit more information and a visual will hopefully clear things up.

    From there we’ll see if its something we can help with and if not point you to where you can get additional help with customization beyond what we can do through support.

    Cheers!

    Hi Ismael,

    The code to insert Flash I am using is:
    <object id=”myFlashContent” width=”614″ height=”386″ classid=”clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000″><param name=”movie” value=”http://blueunderground.com/flash/therrien-waddell-614.swf&#8221; /><!–[if !IE]>–><object width=”614″ height=”386″ type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” data=”http://blueunderground.com/flash/therrien-waddell-614.swf”>&lt;!–<![endif]–><!–[if !IE]>–></object><!–<![endif]–></object>

    This works fine in the static environment at http://blueunderground.com/flash/test-4.html. There is a Flash sniffer that displays a JPG when Flash is not installed that is also working fine in the static environment.

    Within the Enfold theme it shows the JPG image when it runs the same code (but not the desired Flash animation): http://blueunderground.com/test-4/.

    I have added a couple of lines of JavaScript to header.php through the editor. These are included in the static sample mentioned above that works correctly. On header.php it is between “<title><?php if(function_exists(‘avia_set_title_tag’)) { echo avia_set_title_tag(); } ?></title>” AND “<!– page title, displayed in your browser bar –>”. The script reads:

    <meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”text/html; charset=iso-8859-1″ />
    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://blueunderground.com/flash/swfobject.js”></script&gt;
    <script type=”text/javascript”>
    swfobject.registerObject(“myFlashContent”, “9.0.0”);
    </script>

    Please advise on how this can function correctly with the Enfold theme. Thank you for your help with this!

    Hi. I read this post
    https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-background-colorstyle/
    and I am looking for something similar. I want to be able to use a color section and either have a color background or an image. But then I want the actually content to be included in a smaller white (possibly transparent) box. I see the code that will work in the above thread, but I don’t know where to put it. Each section I do this to would be different.

    my site is: http://lizybloomdesigns.com/zemasfoods3

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi again!

    I tried deactivating all the plugins without result (see further down though for the possible problem). I found a kind of a workaround that I’ll think will be ok for the image size problem. The problem with the image size is that when the slide isn’t loaded, the “.portfolio-preview-image” isnt applied on the images, instead it’s “div .portfolio-preview-image .avia-slideshow img”. So I added a “width: 900px” for that in quick CSS (I tried with 75% first, but that resulted in 75% of 75% on all images). I don’t think I destroyed any responsivity, not what I’ve noticed so far.

    The problem with the slider not showing is still a problem though, it seems to occur when you click forward (next portfolio) and then go back one portfolio again. I disabled all plugins, removed all custom css (except .page-id-165 .portfolio-preview-image { width: 75%; }) and removed all other custom changes I’ve done. The slider error is corrected then (I guess it have something to do with my other custom changes), but there’s still not quite right with the image sizes (the solution above don’t apply since it’s still a slider now). Most portfolios have the correct size (about 900px in width). The portfolio “HÖGDALEN” though, have a width of about 880px. Not much differ, but it’s still notable and it’s very strange since there’s nothing special with that portfolio. It has the same settings and the same image size.

    The site is now without all the changes, so you can look at that portfolio item (Högdalen) and compare it to the others.

    Tomas

    Hi Josue

    I can now confirm this is something to do with the Enfold theme.

    I have completed a test and can upload images at : 361 KB (370,205 bytes) (450×600 pixels)

    However if I try to upload and image (going to use for a background) at : 5.07 MB (3000x1998x24) is when I get the error.

    Is that enough information to help troubleshoot this HTTP Error?

    Thanks
    Ian

    Topic: Table colour scheme

    in forum Enfold

    Any way to change the TABLE colour scheme?

    Currently it runs in an alternating pattern.
    Reference:
    http://gyazo.com/c7eb83d8a827e41da19b2647d7e37106

    I’d like to set it up to have one header colour and then the option to change the colours of the rest of the table background to either the same colour, or other options. For example I’d like my table header to be the dark blue colour in the image, and then the rest of the table be the lighter blue colour, etc.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks

    Yeah I did choose this option but somehow its still choosing a size randomly.. I don’t know why. So, that’s I asked you guys if its possible that the gallery plugin choose the actual size specially when I click NO SCALING then things would be fine.

    I FOUND THE SOLUTION UNDER THIS THREAD,
    https://kriesi.at/support/topic/pop-up-image-resizing

    @Josue
    , YOU ARE LEGEND MAN… I was looking for this solution for a long time.. but finally and accidentally I found your reply.. :)
    Big Big Thanks :D

    Hello,

    Maybe some plugin conflict, try to deactivate all third party plugins to see if it gets fixed.

    I’d like to use SQUARE images on my grid blog, instead of the “portfolio” size images, which are slightly wider than they are tall. In the theme’s functions file, I can see that the “masonry” size crops to a square.

    I’ve tried to modify the blog.php template file, changing “portfolio” to “masonry” but this doesn’t have any effect.

    Can you please point me in the right direction?

    I’m using the Blog Avia content element on my home page and I want to use the several of the blog features that appear limited to only the blog page.

    For example, the “link” feature so that our featured image and “more” link directly to outside content and not to the post. (See the top post at NetChoice.org as an example).

    Or having a video show as the featured content on the home page.

    Most of my users go to the home page to get our latest content and rarely click on the blog tab. So I want to achieve all the functionality of the blog page, but have it appear on the home page. I know that I can set my blog page as my home page, but I also want the headers and other features that are present.

    How can I do this?

    Thanks.

    Ismael,
    thank you for your suggestion. Yet, I am not sure if theming single items require hiring dedicated company.

    All I want to do is to change display of the single image & text (title and excerpt).

    Any further suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Thank you!

    The first video was perfect, and I have updated my theme, and the problem is solved!

    Once again, thank you for the excellent support!

    Hi Yigit,

    I guess I didn’t explain myself properly.

    The circles should be perfect i.e. 100×100 or 80x80px but the images inside these circles are NOT perfect squares. The ratio is 100x80px so… How can I add the right image rectangle ratio inside a perfect circle?

    It seems the system is ready to work with perfect squared images (80×80 by default) which doesn’t serve my purpose here.

    Any ideas?

    Hi!

    @yucozt
    It seems like you have already figured it out.

    @jmh_international
    Please try adding following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab

    .attachment-portfolio .image-overlay { display: block!important; }
    .image-overlay { display: none; }

    Cheers!
    Yigit

    #195773

    Hey!

    Perfect circle would be 80x80px. But you can add following code to Quick CSS to change the ratio to 100x80px

    .avia-testimonial-image {
    width: 100px; height: 80px; }
    @media only screen and (max-width: 480px) { .avia-testimonial-image {
    width: 200px!important; height: 200px!important; }}

    Regards,
    Yigit

    Oh, these are Color Section elements. You should edit that particular page and remove Color Section elements from your page http://i.imgur.com/tlxrK16.jpg

    Hi!

    Please try adding following code to Quick CSS as well

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {  .avia-full-stretch, .avia-section {
    -webkit-background-size: cover!important;
    -moz-background-size: cover!important;
    -o-background-size: cover!important;
    background-size: cover!important;
    }}

    This really should be much easier, but I’ve been trying for several hours now:

    I would like to move the DIV class=”images” out of the DIV class=”four units single-product-main-image alpha” and into the DIV class=”eight units single-product-summary”

    I also want to move the DIV containing itemprop=”offers” as well as the class=”cart” including variations_form cart out of the DIV class=summary entry-summary and into the woocommerce-tabs DIV.

    I wish I could do this on my own, but I cannot find any documentation on this.

    I am fine with editing PHP files, however I want a way to do this in my CHILD THEME so I am free to upgrade.

    Sir, the problem is that we are absolutely not able to make this change that you write, but … if i give you the FTP user and password, can you help us to solve it? Please help us, because we do not know what to do!

    #195745

    Hey!

    I marked the thread for Kriesi. Personally I couldn’t find a js or ajax request error on the portfolio page and I don’t know why it doesn’t work on your server. You can try to change the folder permissions of the wp-content/uploads folder to 777 (set it recursively for all folders within wp-content/uploads). Maybe the ajax modal window requires a different read/write permission than the default gallery option page.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

    i´m trying to have background images (and slideshows!) with this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/full-screen-page-background-image-slideshow/
    the images have a width of about 1320-1400px and should be centered on the top the screen and should be scaled if the screen is smaller than this size.
    The Problem is, that the images are not rendered correct every time, for example the image is perfect when you open the page the first time, but when you click again on the “Home” menu item it is positioned on the top/left instead of top/center.
    Link: http://d15924.ispservices.at/wordpress/
    can you help me to fix this problem or maybe is there a way to solve this with Enfold Theme or another plugin?

    Thank you, best regards
    Johannes

    Hi!

    Are you working on a the Visual Editor? You should be working on the Text editor while editing HTML tags to avoid the spaces. The Table element does support images. Edit a row then insert the img tag:

    <img width="100" height="100" src="http://www.shop.hidra.com.tr/wp-content/uploads/image_6186_1.jpg">

    Don’t forget to define the width and the height.

    Cheers!
    Ismael

    Hi!

    Yes, you need to copy the includes folder including the loop-index.php file.

    Hi!

    I changed my mind and now Im aiming for about 900px in width, and therefore I set the width to 75% which looks good. The problem still exists though, it seems that the slider isn’t loaded correctly all the time. When I switch trough the portfolios the error occurs now and then (unfortunately too often), it looks like this:
    Slider error

    As you see, instead of being a slider, the images just line in a row, and that’s whats causing the image size to be wrong too.

    Since it don’t happen everytime, it’s difficult to track. Any ideas what can cause the problem (ajax not loading properly?) or how I can find out? The problem occurs on diffrent computers, so it’s not user related. Try for yourself and click trough the portfolios (sometimes it happens directly, sometimes only after a while), going both back and fourth with the arrows.

    Regards,
    Tomas
