Hi,
I’m trying to set my youtube channel as a menu option on the main menu and when I click on it the theme tries to open an image lightbox and an error pop up appears with the following message:
Image can not be loaded. Make sure the path is correct and image exists.
This is very weird as I’m sure I set the menu correctly and I have other menu items pointing to other external urls that I have set exactly the same way and they work ok. This is what I do:
Desktop –> Appearance –> Menus –> links
and I insert the url : https://www.youtube.com/user/CuinesTramuntanaTV/
and save the menu.
Can you please help. The site is under construction and can not be viewed but if you need it I can send you a username and password.
Thanks
Tomeu
Hi Folks;
What I wanted is pretty simple: I simply want to center the thumbnail images used in the Post Slider entries. Right now they are all left-justified. I will add that it’s sort of odd, since the default icon is centered (the one used when you don’t specify a featured image).
I’m sure it’s probably just a CSS tweak, but I can’t seem to pinpoint the right code, and figured someone could answer it quicker than I could chase it down..
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
I have also looked for this solutions.
But the fullwith layerslider i pretty complicated to change each time. Wouldn´t it be possible to use the fullscreen slider? Or as an alternative, being able to slide the color section.
As it is now, one cannot add iconboxes etc. to the fullscreen slide.
Hello:
Love your theme; thank you. I have searched the forum and cannot find answer to this specific issue. I have a background image for my Main Content area. I have a Color Section on my homepage with a color defined (#32add9). I select ‘Main Content’ for my color scheme (for icon & text colors, etc.). When I do that, because the Main Content also has a bg image defined, the Color Section uses that bg image instead of the color I selected. It seems that if I specify a Color for the ‘Color’ section, that should override any other settings? If I remove the bg image from the Main Content style, my color section shows up with the proper color (but I DON’T want to remove the bg image from Main Content Style).
What is best work around? or am I doing something wrong here? I realize I can make a bg image for the color section that is just the flat color and then set a ‘bg image’ for the Color Section, but that seems convoluted.
Hi – I’m doing another project with Enfold and am having a challenge with some formatting.
Here is a graphic to explain in pictures what I’m trying to accomplish:
Here is what I’m trying to do:
1. Have LayerSlider sit under the menu and header (I have done this already)
2. Have background color under where the logo goes
semi-transparent
3. Set the main-menu color white (I have done this already)
4. Have the menu-dropdown semi-transparent white, as
opposed to the header color which it is now.
The site is located
Thanks as always!

Hi!
You have custom CSS code added related with logo image, please change it to
.logo img {
padding-top: 35px;
}
That should fix it. And if you have already opened a thread regarding this issue, please let us know so we can avoid confusion
Best regards,
Yigit
Hi
The only way I could place a large youtube video in the middle of the website is through the Advanced Layer Slider. But, in stead of view a preload thumbnail image of the video content, I just see a grey image with a “play” button. How can I fix it? I would like to see a video image preloaded.
Thanks
I am using the fullwidth slider, when I click the image it takes me to the youtube page, it isn’t opening the video in the lightbox. It did before, how can I get the video to open in the lightbox? thank you.
There’s a similar posting about this, but this code snippet won’t do the trick, neither when I use it in our child theme nor when applied directly to js/avia.js inside the main enfold theme folder:
jQuery('.page article').each(function(){
jQuery(this).find('.entry-content-header').after(jQuery(this).find('.big-preview').detach());
})
I’ve verified my js/avia.js and the code is correctly being shown at the end of wp-content/themes/enfold/js/avia.js?ver=1, but the featured image is still on top of everything.
I updated my post to make it more clear and provide examples.
Can anyone help me please?
I have over 50 images with descriptions that I have to upload by tomorrow.
Thanks in advance.
Thank you for this. I will try this too, it sounds like a very useful plugin.
Otherwise, I was just about to write in an update as I learned that it works by using WordPress Seo by Yoast with the combination of Facebook Debugger tool https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/. But the problem is that it needs to be used on every post. For some reason even the newly created posts need to be Debugged otherwise Facebook will pull in the Logo.
Maybe this plugin will solve that.
Thank you for your help.
Lexie.
Hello,
I have tree small requests.
1) Is it possible to change the size of the featured image on the post pages? I like the size it is when I create a page which lists posts (http://www.bazam.co.uk/news/), but they get quite big on the actual post pages (http://www.bazam.co.uk/brand-satellite-completes-ettrick-yarrow-valleys-design-project/). Is it possible for the featured image on the post page to be the same size as it is on the list of posts page?
2) Once on the individual post pages, can the featured image have no link? ie: nothing happens when you mouse over it.
3) You gave me some additional code to create some space around images on normal text pages:
}
.av_textblock_section { margin-bottom: 25px; }
.avia_textblock img { margin-left: 25px;
margin-bottom: 25px; }
Can I have some similar code for doing the same to images inserted into post pages?
Many thanks in advance.
Giles
P.S.: trying to be clearer
– slider working picks images from: www……it/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/avia-samples/slide1_Layer_2.png
– slider NOT working picks images from: www……it/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/.…png
or other like www…..it/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/….jpeg
Hi Yigit,
have updated at 2.4.5 and WP 3.8.1 but above issue is still unsolved.
When loading the image seems the slider is going to pick them somewhere else against where the image is, so still showing the question mark on the preview and when loading it goes in loop without uploading any image !
As far as I could understand it might be some problem regarding where the images are upload and I noticed there are different folders (wp-content/uploads/2013/11/… , wp-content/uploads/2014/01/… ) of the images in the theme, while I believe (humbly as I consider myself a dummy in this field) the images should stay in an unique folder so no mismatch would occur.
How can I solve this ? Shortly I have to release the website but this is still a big problem to solve for me.
Tks for help, Nona
Hi Peter!
Thank you so much for the lesson in css3.
I had to repeat the pattern so I did this:
1. in the color section I defined no image and just defined an ID
2. in CSS I wrote:
#color-section ID {
background-image: url(../pattern.png) , url(../background.png) ;
background-repeat: repeat, no-repeat;
background-size: auto,cover;
}
and it works like a charm!
Thanks a lot!
Great Theme! Great support!
best,
Chris
Hi!
Please try to select another thumbnail size in the “Gallery Big Preview Image Size” dropdown: http://www.clipular.com/c/4911045944541184.png?k=YJTlOicwuUGUBqt9y02TRgwqKMY

Hi!
Unfortunately it makes no sense to overwrite the shortcode.js file with a child theme because we update this file very often. So if you want to solve this issue with a child theme you must choose the less invasive approach :)
You can try following css code – it will just affect the big image
.portfolio-preview-image .avia-gallery a.avia-gallery-big{ pointer-events: none; }

Peter
Hey gentle_md!
With CSS3: http://www.css3.info/preview/multiple-backgrounds/ you can add multiple background images to the same element. Basically the code must look like
#example1 {
background-image: url(sheep.png), url(betweengrassandsky.png);
background-size: cover;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
}
and instead of “example1” insert your section id and replace “sheep.png” and “betweengrassandsky.png” with the urls to your images.

Peter
I still see a little animated shift on pages that have slideshows – when the slides change the text on part of the page jumps a little, even if there are no other images on the page. Is that fixable?

When I attempt to resize an existing image in layout builder it doesn’t work.
1. I select the image
2. Click the image icon
3. Make the edit
4. Click update
5. Click save
6. Clear my cache (tried several browsers)
7. The image does not resize. Why?
Here are some screenshots with the current settings.

You can make a similar slider with LayerSlider (full-width)

Hey Lexie!
Try with this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-open-graph/
Regards,
Josue
Thanks josue! solved the FB image- will work on the SMTP- however, even with this plug in, so far its a no go, I think it has to do with the fact that there are multiple installs of the site on my home directory- and Wp is not at the root directory. Could that be it? That is why I am asking you to please give me a hint as to where the WP file that sets the WP Mail function is located, and perhaps your idea as to whether the folder/ structure of the site has anything to do with this error.
Cheers!
I’m not sure but I’ll ask the author.
In case it doesn’t are there any plugins that will work with Enfold that you know of? Like I said, it needs to import images so I can use them in the blog feed, in a “latest posts” slider throughout the site, and embed the video within the post itself. I’ve seen it on quite a few sites and it seems like it’s a very common thing to do on sites which have YouTube channels.
