Enfold makes me nervous with that.
Loot at my images…

Hey Josue
This is interesting…
I just noticed that the container for the top three portfolio items is narrower than all the others. On these the preview window is not zoomed in like all the rest of them are – it shows the entire image. All the other portfolio items show a larger preview container and a larger, zoomed in portion of the image… Any ideas why? Most slides I use are wither 1210px x 600px or 1210 x 650px.
Thanks Ed
I have added that along with all of the other code fixes that have been suggested. Please review the pages that I sent previously. It is still not working properly. There are still spacing problems.

I even tried a fresh install of wordpress with a fresh install of Enfold with no other plugins installed, on a different server. The issue is the same. Once you have more than one Advanced Layerslider on a page the columns no longer work properly. When do you expect to have this issue fixed? I can’t keep waiting and trying these code fixes that aren’t working. If there isn’t going to be a fix I need to know now so I can revert back to one of the previous versions of the theme.
Hey Josue
Thanks for the code; unfortunately it doesn’t solve the issue – images still fall away and re-draw themselves before they spring back underneath the preview container.
BTW – have removed W3TC now. So nothing to mess things up from a caching plugin either… (bizarrely the site still scores the same on Google Page Speed!).
Many thanks
Ed
Hi, yes, tried that – it makes no difference I’m afraid.
I can supply you with admin details to check for me if you can do that?
thanks, Andy
Hey Kevin!
You can use the min-height property:
.page-id-2925 .main_color.container_wrap{
min-height: 800px
}
Cheers!
Josue
yup
https://www.geistinteractive.com/barcode-creator-file-lander/
it doesn’t always show, but sometimes, especially on mobile devices it does.
Thanks
Todd
Regeneration did the trick, thx!
on this page:
http://www.copenhagenfilmcompany.dk/2014/corporate_en/
in the section called “broadcasting in growth markets” there is a logo inserted in the text (THIS IS TOUCH) that is not in line with the text now – cannot see how to get rid of the 5px bottom margin or padding there. Can you point me to the right code? Thanks!

Hi Josue, yes your suggestion resolved the issue with the background image. However depending on what’s being shown in Main Content the height of the page container varies. Is there a way to set the height of the container to fill screen?
For example:
On the contact page, http://cascodesignstudio.com/contact-2 I used a variation of the CSS you suggested shown here.
.page-id-2936 .main_color.container_wrap{
background: url(http://cascodesignstudio.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/CDS-contact-background4.png) no-repeat bottom right #f0f0f0;
}
However, when I target the About page the main content area collapses clipping off the background image. My thought is that the Form used on the Contact page is forcing the main content container down therefore showing the background image. The About page has no Form to force the container down.
Is there a way to set the height of the container?
I hope this makes sense. I’ve still got so much to learn.
Best regards and thank you for helping me.
Kevin
Thank you for you’re help.
Hi there,
I’m not getting any progress today due to these problems.
See image:
http://bathmatesingapore.com/2014/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Screen-Shot-2014-02-15-at-5.25.32-pm-450×450.png
The ‘Tab Content’ field isn’t clickable.
I’ve tried with Chrome, Safari & Firefox and all weren’t be able to click.
Are you able to help me with this please?
Thanks and kind regards,
Jason
Hi there,
I don’t like this:
http://bathmatesingapore.com/2014/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Screen-Shot-2014-02-15-at-4.32.21-pm.png
How can I remove the default description tab and create my own tab like this:
http://bathmatesingapore.com/2014/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Screen-Shot-2014-02-15-at-4.33.50-pm.png
(The first pic is in my Enfold theme and the second one is in my Propulsion theme)
Thanks and kind regards,
Jason
Hi!
Aside from optimizing images and using a cache plugin. You can also use CDN or upgrade your hosting services.

Ismael
Hey gxjansen!
Please edit includes > loop-index.php, remove everything and replace it with this code: http://pastebin.com/LD37TZ4b

Hi gxjansen!
First, try to regenerate the thumbnails using this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
If it that doesn’t work, please add this on Quick CSS or custom.css:
.template-blog .blog-meta .attachment-square.wp-post-image {
height: 100%;
}
Cheers!
Ismael
Hi!
This should fix the image gap on mobile view:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
.avia-align-center.avia_image.avia-builder-el-no-sibling {
margin-bottom: 0;
margin-top: 15px;
}
}
This is for the footer widget.
@media only screen and (max-width: 989px) and (min-width: 768px) {
div .av_one_fourth {
width: 48.0%;
}
}

Ismael
Hi Devin
I think i have found the reason why: i uploaded very big images to WordPress (3500x4000px – 3Mb) and it seems that Enfold or WordPress do not like to have to resize those big images…
“Then try switching to any of the default WordPress themes”
Are you creasy ? :-) To lost all menu?
Anyway, I think you can close my ticket, thanks
Hi ben3434!
Can we see your site with a color section set with an image+parallax live? That way we can inspect the code and see what might be happening.
Regards,
Devin
Hi pako69!
It sounds like WordPress wasn’t able to create the alternate sizes of the image when you uploaded. Your uploads folder permissions could have changed or there could just be another issue that just happened to have popped up at the same time.
First try using this plugin to regenerate your thumbnails: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
Then try switching to any of the default WordPress themes and do the same or upload a new image and see if WordPress is able to create the thumbnails then (wordpress has 2 thumbnail sizes separate from any theme).
Regards,
Devin
Wow, that was easy, thank you.
Is it also possible for the Blog Category Listing (for example “/category/news/”) ?
In the Settings we have “Single Author, Big Preview Pic” choosed.
Hi toddgeist!
Can you please give us a link to the website?
Best regards,
Ismael
Hello
I have update to 2.5.2 update.
Now, what’s happen?
– When i upload an image, i can’t chose anymore the size, the size field is not present

– When i upload a featured image, Enfold take the big image and not the resized one
> Before the update, in this page the featured image is good and resized: http://www.domodeco.fr/reportages/visite-privee/tel-un-tableau.html
> After the update, in this page the featured image is the big one: http://www.domodeco.fr/interieur/salon/la-fonctionnalite-nuit-jour.html
– In the media manager i do not have thumbnails of my uploaded images:

I do not use cache plugin and i do not have installed any new plugin since the update…
I love Enfold, but i’m a little but i don’t like update that breaks my works and make me lost my time… :-(
Thanks

Other issue after the update: the three Easy Slider of the home page have lost their posts links…
would you direct me towards somewhere i can learn about how to “tightenup” the setting to reduce the space between different sections on a theme i.e the whitespace between the text and images???
Hello ^__^ I’m working in Enfold. I have the Twitter widget and the advertising widget added to the footer.
http://www.trikego.com
I would like the link to Twitter and the three link on the left (the three images marked as “friends” and “partners”, always inserted in the footer, such as advertising area in the second and third column), to be opened in a new window: What or where I need to change it to open in a new window? Now, both Twitter and the other three, open the link on the same page, I would rather be opened in a new page, Many thanks for everything. Bruno
I’ve followed the instructions and support guidance on the page, but every time I create a Color section and give it an image to set it as Parallax, the section does not show the image when I save and go back to the web page.
I have the latest version of Enfold and I am using WordPress 3.8.1.
Thanks for your help.

ben3434. Reason: added additional detail
When images aren’t square, post thumbnails on the blog overview pages look quite ugly:
Img url: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s1/sh/db356908-05e5-45e0-a2c4-386d1eb4de83/51a1f1862c87367ca30081747c4898a0
Any idea how can this be fixed?
Thx!

I’ve set “Single Post Style” to “Single post with big preview image”. But most images are so big that the title and date/author line are pushed below the fold. Is there a way to make those 2 lines show above the featured image?
Hello,
I have a copy of the template-blank.php in my child theme. I want to use it to create landing pages. I am having difficulty getting rid of the background image that I have set for the rest of the site. I have some styles set that can make background color white, but the background image show through on page load.
Thanks
Todd
