Hi Ismael,
I’m running into this issue as well. Social icons are not appearing in the header in Chrome v31.
– They appear in Firefox & Safari.
– Cache is clear.
– Search icon and scroll-up icon appear just fine (so it’s not a font issue as far as I can tell)
– I’ve tried logging in and logging out of the WP admin.
– Absolutely no plugins are installed.
– HTML is served up.
– I’ve tried playing with the CSS as much as possible, but can’t get anything to appear.
My test site: http://maxwellcenter.com/new
Thank you in advance.
I was working around and thought about embedding an audio element, where is this?
Enfold has one, right?
Thanks
In witch file shall I add that?
I use child theme
Hi Helgi!
You can use this function to do that:
add_filter('avia_dyn_stylesheet_file_path', 'avia_change_filename');
function avia_change_filename($stylesheet){
return 'myfilename.css';
}
Best regards,
Devin
Hello,
I will ask if i can delete the “dynamic_avia/enfold_child.css” file? or if the theme need that file?
Or how I can change the name of the file?
Hi Ismael,
The code to insert Flash I am using is:
<object id=”myFlashContent” width=”614″ height=”386″ classid=”clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000″><param name=”movie” value=”http://blueunderground.com/flash/therrien-waddell-614.swf” /><!–[if !IE]>–><object width=”614″ height=”386″ type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” data=”http://blueunderground.com/flash/therrien-waddell-614.swf”><!–<![endif]–>
<!–[if !IE]>–></object><!–<![endif]–></object>
This works fine in the static environment at http://blueunderground.com/flash/test-4.html. There is a Flash sniffer that displays a JPG when Flash is not installed that is also working fine in the static environment.
Within the Enfold theme it shows the JPG image when it runs the same code (but not the desired Flash animation): http://blueunderground.com/test-4/.
I have added a couple of lines of JavaScript to header.php through the editor. These are included in the static sample mentioned above that works correctly. On header.php it is between “<title><?php if(function_exists(‘avia_set_title_tag’)) { echo avia_set_title_tag(); } ?></title>” AND “<!– page title, displayed in your browser bar –>”. The script reads:
<meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”text/html; charset=iso-8859-1″ />
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://blueunderground.com/flash/swfobject.js”></script>
<script type=”text/javascript”>
swfobject.registerObject(“myFlashContent”, “9.0.0”);
</script>
Please advise on how this can function correctly with the Enfold theme. Thank you for your help with this!
Hi Ismael,
thanks for your tip with the tables. You were right of course, I didn’t know, that you can use shortcodes. However the layout possibilities of the enfold-table are limited. Then I would have to change the css of the table and that wouldn’t make things any easier, since I would have to change the table in general. Not just this specific one for which I need a very particular outfit. If I’m correct there is no possibility to assign an id or class to the enfold-table, right?
About my problem:
When I open the textblock the visual editor appears and displays everything nicely. When I switch to the code-editor, suddenly there are the non-breaking spaces. When I switch back to the visual editor I have blank spaces as well. Its very weired and seems to be like a bug.
Of course I can delete the none-braking tags and save, but when I reopen, the same problem begins again.
Thanks for your help
Thanks for that. I see that your order processed just fine.
I’m now starting to think it’s a Firefox thing. I usually use Firefox… When I saw your order was successful I got the bright idea to try it in Chrome and see if that’s my problem.
So on my usual machine (using the Enfold site) Chrome works fine, Firefox does not.
I then tried it on an IPad using Safari – works fine.
Next I dug out my old laptop, updated Firefox, Java, etc and tried. It does not process the form. I then downloaded Chrome, tried and works fine on the laptop.
Then, I even tested on a really old Apple laptop. It’s so obsolete that Firefox won’t update past 3.6… Everything seemed to work ’til processing the form. It also starts then stops with no message. Tried Safari there (ver. 4.1) no go on that too. Didn’t really expect much success from those tests….
Finally I went back to my usual setup, tried it on the WP2013 test site in Firefox and it worked OK. And to be thorough I tried WP2013 with Chrome and it worked OK. Seems like the problem exists only in the Firefox/Enfold combo.
When you tested it did you try Firefox? Does it make any sense that this combo would act different?
Hi. I read this post
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-background-colorstyle/
and I am looking for something similar. I want to be able to use a color section and either have a color background or an image. But then I want the actually content to be included in a smaller white (possibly transparent) box. I see the code that will work in the above thread, but I don’t know where to put it. Each section I do this to would be different.
my site is: http://lizybloomdesigns.com/zemasfoods3
Thanks in advance!

Help?

I have the enfold theme installed at http://www.starnetmonitoring.com (or had) it caused a 500 error on Godaddy server – or I am assuming that the theme is the problem – Godaddy tech support could not find any server errors. All plugins tested one by one. no problems.
i uninstalled the theme – reinstalled it – same problem. i activated other themes, installed different themes and each one works fine. I go back to enfold – get the same error and site will not load. Have you had any issues with this elsewhere or have any idea what I should be looking for?
Hi Josue
I can now confirm this is something to do with the Enfold theme.
I have completed a test and can upload images at : 361 KB (370,205 bytes) (450×600 pixels)
However if I try to upload and image (going to use for a background) at : 5.07 MB (3000x1998x24) is when I get the error.
Is that enough information to help troubleshoot this HTTP Error?
Thanks
Ian
Hi,
I wounder where to change the font size of main content text and headings, since I couldn’t find it in the enfold settings: styles.
Thanks in advance!
Olli
Dear Enfold:
Can you tell me the optimized size or recommended size for the slides?
I have reduced file size too much, works fine on pc, not acceptable on iphone.
Please advise,

.main_menu ul:first-child > li > a { font-size: 16px; }
.header_color .main_menu ul:first-child > li > a { color: red; }

Hi guys, I have some custom javascript code that I want to execute upon pressing the ‘Submit’ button within a Contact Form content element. Or a button within any element with a button, for that matter, if there is a standard approach to do this. Using Enfold 2.4.2 and child theme, WP 3.7.1.
Could you recommend the best way?
Great theme, and thanks!
Paul
Hey!
It will be there, just switch the theme, make a test (media upload), and switch back to Enfold. We need to discard if the issue is theme-related or not.
Best regards,
Josue
Hi!
The only thing is the generated enfold.css which stores in /wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/
Best regards,
Josue
Hi!
@yucozt It seems like you have already figured it out.
@jmh_international Please try adding following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab
.attachment-portfolio .image-overlay { display: block!important; }
.image-overlay { display: none; }
Cheers!
