With the Enfold theme viewed on a mobilephone, the links is not working?

I’m wondering, why there is no simple way to set the body font size in the Enfold Theme Option…
when I add this css code to the quick CSS field in the enfold theme option
body {font: 15px/1.5em; text-align:justify;}
h1 { font-size: 26px; line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 14px;}
h2 {font-size: 24px; line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 10px; }

also when added directly to the custom.css the body font size will not be changed…
only when changing the body font size in the base.css, than you get the changes as wished.
the problem: on each Enfold update the base.css is overrided…
any workaround to get this working?

I’d like to create a forum, is it possible with the Enfold theme? I tried BBPress but it’s not translated in english. I need it in french and I couldn’t find it. I’d rather find a way to have it ready-made.

I activated Mobile Menu Options on both smartphones and tablets. Just noticed on the ipad (when I have Mobile Menu Option), some of the menu times (pages) are missing. Why so? Please advise. Since 2.6.2 Enfold will add the flags to the main menu if WPML is activated and no top bar (secondary menu) is activated.
You’ve two options:1) Go to WPML > Languages and deselect the ” Display the language switcher in the WP Menu” checkbox. This will deactivate the default menu language switcher.
or
2) If you don’t want to show the theme language switcher in the main menu insert this code into your child theme:
add_action('after_setup_theme','avia_remove_main_menu_flags'); function avia_remove_main_menu_flags(){ remove_filter( 'wp_nav_menu_items', 'avia_append_lang_flags', 20, 2 ); remove_filter( 'avf_fallback_menu_items', 'avia_append_lang_flags', 20, 2 ); }Cheers!

I actually bought this plugin because you supported it. Since it is a premium and quite expensive plugin I actually thought that it would work. The option from you was qTranslate wich I have had problems with before on an other site. So I am very reluctant to use that one.

I have been in contact with my host one.com and there is no problem with the memory. However we did the P3 Profiler plugin and it showed that the WPML-plugin made the site way to slow. I have copied in the results of the analysis.
It was a surprise to me that the WPML-plugin was the one causing the problems since you gave the information that Enfold is prepared for this plugin and that is also the reason why I bought it.Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

In the visual editor, the icon is white and the circle is blue. On my page in the browser, the icon is black with no circle.

Have you tried to reconfigure the header options? Some users’ problem was fixed by simply changing a few options on Enfold > Header then saving it. Did you copy the header.php file on the child theme folder? If yes, then delete the header.php on your child theme folder. Get the new header.php file from the parent theme folder and copy it to your child theme folder. You can see the header element codes like logo, menu etc on includes > helper-main-menu.php.

@biklops: I checked the website but I don’t see any social icons there. Did you just hide it via CSS or the new header options work?
@drjill: We’re really sorry about that. We’re just trying to improve the users’ overall experience with Enfold by giving you more options like the ones we added for the header options. A lot of users were requesting for css modifications like header height, logo position, social icons position, phone numbers etc because they are not available on the previous header options. Now, you can do all those things without adding any css or changing any code. There will be certain setbacks but we hope that you appreciate Kriesi’s efforts.Anyway, you can recopy the header.php file from the parent theme folder and replace the one that you have on your child theme. You can find most of the header codes like logo, menu etc on includes > helper-main-menu.php file.

The session_start() command is used in at least 4 files under the Enfold theme files provide. This command is causing the issue. Thanks for the link, but I already tried to eliminate saving the PHPSESSID urls in .httacess by using the commands providing in the article referenced. I tried this last week before I submitted the support request. The article is 8 years old and does not work, it crashes my entire site. Is there another way?

I’m not sure what you mean but Dude said to that the patch has been included on Enfold 2.6.2. All you need to do is download the latest version of the theme on your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. Watch this video by Devin: http://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

Since today I can’t edit textcontent. If I add a new textbox I can’t also write text. The editor doesn’t show a cursor and I can’t insert a letter. Other elements like button or seperator I can insert and edit without problems…
I’ve tried it with Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. I use the newest version of Enfold.
What I have done today: Change the Site-URL from http://www.contoweb.ch/wordpress/ to http://www.contoweb.ch (WordPress-Home is still contoweb.ch/wordpress). The page works correct.

PHPSESSID, has nothing to do with Enfold theme, this is being set by php itself which helps to keep track of cookies …, if you want to disable them you could try to disable them on your .httacess here is a good article that shows you how to. http://www.ragepank.com/articles/26/disable-phpsessid/

This plugin “Galleria Fullscreen Theme”, that you have installed is conflicting with the current light box that enfold uses, you should try to dequeue the enfold light-box so you avoid conflicts. Which is going to disable this functionality on all of the pages, and leave your “Galleria Fullscreen Theme” in place.

Hi, Devin, and thanks for posting. I mentioned it on the Enfold Theme Forest page because I was replying to something else anyway, and Kriesi said yes, it will be available with next update. ( I don’t know how much you do with Vimeo, but I checked their site and it looks like they no longer have the option to show controls to stop a video. Looks like the best a person can do is hover and click pause to get it to stop playing.)
I would like for the Layer Slider to be on a Color Section, but can’t drag the layer slider onto it. Will it not do that? I prefer to have a color background on which the video plays. This question hasn’t been addressed yet, so hopefully there’s a solution.

Hi Devin,
As I mentioned at the start of the thread, we’ve deactivated all plugins and it didn’t have an effect. WC system status is all good and green. And WP Engine support says they don’t review anything like this. I’m not sure digging into why Enfold isn’t working on WP engine is worth it because the hosting company doesn’t much matter, as long as the site and checkout works.
If you were me, how would you go about troubleshooting this theme, or child theme, issue? It doesn’t seem to be a problem with Stripe because I couldn’t get Paypal to work either. I’m getting really desperate and would love any help you can offer.
