When you update the parent theme you only need to update your child theme if one of the files you are replacing gets updated. So as long as you are using style.css in the child to hold your CSS then it wont get written over when you update the Enfold parent theme files.

Hi Devin, tried that but it didn’t work. That code is for the ‘add to cart’ button which I don’t have on my site anyway. Any more ideas on how or where to start looking for that line of code would be great.
I can see that Enfold has done a fair amount of replacing on woocommerce standard hooks and stuff.

Make sure that if you are using WordPress 3.9 you deactivate all plugins to make sure there isn’t a conflict there (since not everything is compatible with 3.9 yet) and that you fully clear your browser cache to use all the new editor styles.

I am trying to mirror the functionality on your Enfold demo site and have been failing miserably for hours. There is a page on your theme demo site under “Pages -> Slider -> EasySlider Transparent”. Scroll down a bit and you will see a slider with a grassy background. That is what I am trying to replicate.
On my site, I am using the full width easy slider feature and have identified a background image. I have successfully implemented the individual slides but the overall slider is vertically short. I can’t, for the life of me, get it to appear like the demo theme. I am not a web designer. I am a business user (ignore the web designer domain. It’s my friend’s). I’ve been working on rebuilding my site that uses the Wishlist Member Plugin with Enfold. So there’s no way around using this plugin for me.
I’m very concerned to just have stumbled upon a support thread noting that the Enfold theme is not compatible with Wishlist. Is there any way around this? I really don’t want to scrap weeks worth of work and move on to a different theme.

I’ve tested what you have described before, on my end everything works perfectly, without knowing what’s your current configuration ( plugins / custom code ), i can suggest you disable 1 by 1 plugins, see if it works, try to reinstall the theme again, ( thou save your custom options ) Enfold has that option on it’s own panel.

DavidI am new to Enfold. I have an icon list and want the title to link to one of my pages. I set “link title” to “page”. Now where do I select the page I want to have it go to when clicked? I’m sorry if this is obvious but I don’t see it. I selected “manual” as well hoping a text box would allow for me to enter a url but nope. Thanks.

You can find the references to admin_bar_menu here /framework/php/function-set-avia-backend.php, under the function avia_backend_admin_bar_menu wich defines the admin bar on different places.
If you wish to disable it completely you could do the following on functions.php or your child funcitons
remove_action('admin_bar_menu', 'avia_backend_admin_bar_menu', 99);Regards,

I should add that I’m using the Enfold Child Theme (provided with the Enfold theme when I purchased it). I’ve only added child’s CSS and a few things to the Functions child page.
Hi there, ever since I updated Enfold to the 2.6.3 version, my Avia Layout Builder has stopped working. The GUI doesn’t appear any more when editing a post or page.
On the front end of my site, all the layouts remain. So obviously Avia is still working, I just can’t access it’s GUI in the back end to create layouts and layout templates.
Please help!
