WP 3.9.
All WPML plugins are current.
Language switcher flags appear in the menu bar despite all switcher options being off (cleared).
I’ve been using WPML (with footer language switch only) for several months and this problem only showed up with the conversion to WP 3.9.

Just kidding. Yeah I guess that makes sense.But seriously, I don’t get it. Even when I put it in the inspector just like you have done, it still doesn’t work. I think I’ll just have to move on.

Resume:
– Problem started before i did the 3.9 update (so i do not think that is the problem)
– Switched to another theme and reactivated Enfold
– Re-installed the Enfold theme
– Deactivated all the plugins
– Updated the Endfold theme to the latest release
– It IS possible to add new elements trough the avia advanced builder (and fill them with content). But after publishing the page and try to edit it afterwards i encounter the same problems.After the upgrade of WordPress to version 3.9, the text block menu/menu is not visible. The only way to insert or edit text is using the “text” tab.
We updated the Enfold, but nothing changed.
How can we fix that?

casianoI’ve installed and activated Enfold Child Theme.
After that I’ve imported parrent settings to it.
And after that I change google analitics code in child theme to universal analitics code…. and nothing changed for end-users. They still got old analitics code.

I couldn’t find a way to have the sidebar show only certain blog categories’ latest posts. I’m using the latest version of Enfold theme.
I need to show news from certain categories for different pages on the website and this would be important to sort out the news.

Hi Juan-Jose!
No, those will not be corrected in the theme files so any changes you make will get written over when you update unless you bring them into a child theme and include your own version of the stylesheets.
Validation does not take into account cross browser compatibility or cutting edge modern techniques. So modern themes, plugins and anything designed to have maximum compatibility for users will not validate.

The update checks against your ThemeForest API and username if you have that entered into the theme settings. You can also always update manually.

Wordpress states that I “am running the latest version” and that there are no updates available. My Enfold theme version is 2.6.2, yet the blogs state that 2.7 is the latest version. What am I doing wrong? Any guidance please on why my theme might not be updating?
Hey!
Setting the image to center center and then stretch to fit should always make it fit the background of that section. Just make sure that when you select the image its the largest version possible and not one of the smaller thumbnails that gets created.

This is a follow up comment. I am having an issue with the General Styling tab in my theme options. Making edits here does not seem to alter the site. All the other theme options seem to be working. All plugins are off and I am running the most current WP and Enfold. Please advise. Thanks!
