I swapped theme to another and something else pop up… That error was fixed with the SEO conflict in another topic!
Back to the update.php…??

I’ve managed to resolve The custom css problem but not the layerslider.
The custom css was somehow reading from a a previous installation of enfold (which I had on the same server and named “enfold2”) and the site seemed to be sucking the css from both of the custom css files – one with my css in and one with the test css in. I deleted the enfold 2 folder and everything is back to normal!!!Its odd though cos I have at times had 3 copies of Choices running on the same server (calling the folders Choices 1, choices 2 etc ) and this has never happened but I was on multi site rather than a single site .
Anyway it’s fixed
Now on to the Layerslider problem……

i often like to use svg Graphics. So i usually added some code to functions.php to get the possibility to upload and use svg files.
on Enfold 2.63 no problem with that. I can use as logo as well as backgroundpictures even in parallax option.
But yesterday i try to install a new version (2.7) and there is no way to use the svgs as described above. Has there anything changed concerning to svg usage?You’re great. It works perfectly! Thank you a lot.
Maybe have you an idea about this new strange behavior : since I uprgraded Enfold theme to the 2.7 version (yesterday), the highlight aspect in the main menu have changed : there is no more any triangle in the center of the highlighted line.
(Tested with firefox and chrome latest version but not yet with any recent version of ie)best regards,

Hi,
I just installed Enfold and am building my site. Love this theme. It’s the second project I am using it for. For some reason the “General Styling” in “Theme options” is not working. The other settings in the Theme options are working, but these are not. I am running WP 3.9 and Enfold 2.7 and all of my plugins are off, cleared the cache of my browser and turned off the cashing programs . Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Didn’t have to try.
I downloaded the newest Version (2.7) of Enfold and installed it a new (after I renamed the old enfold theme folder).
According to the enfold options panel, the newest version of enfold was installed (but it was 2.4.5 or so).
I wasn’t sure how to best update and therefor renamed the theme in the style.css and changed the folder name and installed the theme afresh. I had to correct some configuration afterwards but the editor worked again.

Hi Ismael,
just the avatar on the feed. Your codes deletes the group avatar images of the feed but also the big group image on the top of the group. The main group image should not be deleted.

thanks for the quick response. i just didnt follow up the new versions and somehow missed the ‘container’ feature to add backgrounds, css etc – just similar to visual composer. you gus did a great job! i like to see the progress.i just cant seem to manage to get background images, that are not available in bigger size, to go full width (or full height).
no matter what i choose in the color selection (position, minim. height, etc.) it just doesnt fill the screen.
i probably could create an image as big as my big screen – but i thought ‘streching to screen size’ would do the math – even with my smaller image size (just to see how it looks)…my goal is to have fullscreen images for each menu section. i probably could alternatively achieve that with a fullcreen slider for each section – but that would slow down site performance… so i am hoping it works with the color selection tool. maybe i just oversaw a setting.
also: i thought by choosing a background for the one-page site would cover the whole site (at least by repeating etc) – but somehow, while going through the menu sections (scrolling down the page) i just see black sections. i though the theme styling (main content) would keep that background image throughout the page…any advice is apprechiated…

Please go to Enfold > Theme Options > Blog Layout and change the “Blog Style” dropdown option to “Use the advance layout editor to build your own blog layout (simply edit the page you have chosen in Enfold->Theme Options as a blog page)”. Then save the settings and the breadcrumb should work.

Another thing is, you’re using a very old version of the theme, 2.4.2. Please download the latest version 2.7 from your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. Please refer to this link for more info: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

I’m not using the minify plugin but I am temporarily using “Ultimate coming soon page” plugin whilst it’s being built, but no other plugins are installed (apart from WordPress Importer).
I have deactivated the plugin so you should be able to see it now.
I’m not running the layerslider as a standalone plugin but will do if that’s what it takes to fix. I believe the text missing text problem (in layerslider) happened with a previous version of enfold (last year) so I ended up using graphic based text, but this time the Client will be wanting to change the text so I have to find a solution.
