Topic: Enfold editor problem
Hello
Just noticed the problem with Enfold editor.
When I use editor and, as example, open tab A and edit it with material A, then close tab A and open tab B- I will the material A, next, if I open tab C, I will see material A in it again.
And the same situation with similat elements.

Check the titles- they are different, but the materials are the same.-if I refresh the page, and open needed tab, it will apeear correct, but the situation will repeat.
-I tried turning off all the plugins, the situation remains
-That also repeates no matter what browser I useI thought that is related to cash, but with all plugins disabled I got no result.

No, not easily unfortunately. The only way you can do that is to enable the debug field on the ALB and then copy out the raw shortcode data and paste it to the other portfolio elements debug fields.
You just need to be very very precise when doing it because if the fields data gets an error there is no automatic way to fix it. The whole page could potentially need to be remade.

DevinHi, – running 2.7 and suddenly I am no longer able to drag/drop elements in Avia onto my layout.
I deactivated the last few plug-ins, back to well before the problem started. I’ve logged in and out, restarted my browser… I also went back about a day and restored an earlier version of the layout: same problem.
Interestingly, this seems to be a problem confined to this particular Page. Other existing pages allow drag & drop, and if I create a new Page, I am able to drag & drop.
Recent plugins that I have disabled include: MailPoet, WP Edit, Kento Pricing Table, Pricing Table, Pricing Table Ready! and FB Linked In Resume. I may be mistaken, but I believe that the Theme was working fine with all of these installed – except for MailPoet and maybe one of the pricing tables. Again, this list has been all disabled. Is there/are there left-over lines of code I need to clean up?
Here are the symptoms:
The element will drag from the repository section, and the page will highlight, but the highlight doesn’t change the way it usually does when the element reaches a place it can be dropped (e.g. a Color Section or a Column). When I release the mouse button, nothing happens and the page returns to un-highlighted.
Within the existing layout, I am able to edit and clone elements that are already there, but cannot move them out of the sections they are already in – so if I clone a text box within a color section, I can move it around that section, but can’t drag it to another section.
Please let me know if I can provide any additional info – and hopefully you’ve got a solution.

How can I have the breadcrumbs NOT display the Page Title ??
I am new to WP but I find it very restrictive that the breadcrumb is a line of links and then the rightmost text is the document title ??
I want the last rightmost bit of text to be the MENU text.How can this be achieved ??
Eg – on my ‘About’ page (the Menu button for this page is called “About”).
However, the page Title is “3D Modelling | 3D Still Image and 3D Animation Visualisers”.
I want the breadcrumb simply to be;
Home / About
And not;
Home / About / 3D Modelling | 3D Still Image and 3D Animation Visualisers
We just want “Home / About”.
Please advise.

Thank you for the update.
Did you edit anything on the theme files? I’m just curious why is the debugging info located inside the <body> tag. It should be inside the <head> tag. Please download the latest version again from your themeforest account then update the theme again via FTP. Please refer to this link for more info: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Also, please go to wp-content/plugins folder then rename all plugin folders and remove the unused ones. We’ll check it again after.

I’m sorry but I’m not certain of the issue that you’re having. If you can provide us with a link to your website and a screenshot of the issue, that will greatly help. Enfold is a fully responsive theme and you might be trying to do something out of the box to have this issue. You can find all the css codes on wp-content/themes/enfold/css folder. Check the layout.css and grid.css files.

I’m not sure why the sidebar or layout settings is not working. Maybe because of a plugin conflict but what I noticed is that you’re using an old version of the theme. The update might fix the issue. Please download the latest version from your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. ich nutze die aktuelle enfold Version (WordPress 3.7.1) und habe oben genanntes Plugin installiert. Das Plugin funktioniert nicht wie gewünscht.

Aber auch diese Änderung führte nicht zur Problembehebung.I also had the same problem… after some digging, it looks like the problem is in /wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/assets/js/avia-media.js, line 26:

The problem is that ‘wp’ is not defined in media = wp.media.I changed the last line as follows:

Unless you overwrite your language file while updating, changes will not be effected. You can backup your file inside Enfold/lang folder. Yes you can translate every translatable strings using that plugin

I’m already familiar with Chrome inspector and RGBA colors – my problem (after many hours of detective work) is to find the exact place where the background is regulated. When I use the “Enfold Main Content background color editor” I get to change the color but it seems like there is a layer bellow that is still white meaning that if i e.g. put in this rgba(255, 0, 0, 0.65) I get a transparent red on top of a white layer – so I still don’t get to see the page’s background image through a transparent red layer.

we are designers and we use Enfold for 7 new websites. Recently we upgraded WP to 3.9 and we can’t edit the text in Advanced text editor as many other people. The update through the API and WP dashboard didn’t work, Enfold stayed on version 2.6.2.
We tried the FTP update as shown in your video and it totally destroyed the web – the website lost all formatting, it’s just plain text and HTML. WP panels of Enfold also lost the formatting…
we made backup of the Enfold folder before update but replacing it back didn’t help.
could you please help us with that? We need to fix it ASAP and we lost already a lot of time by this…
