Topic: Header Height Changes
Hey there, if I change my “Header Size” to a custom height of 45px in the “Header Layout” section of the Enfold control panel, it works great … however the header height jumps back up to the default height (80px) when shrinking down browser <768px (ie. mobile) … how could I keep it at 45px at all times? Thanks!

You can modify the gallery template – open up wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/gallery.php and replace:

Yes we have been customizing this theme which I love that it allows us.
Would be cool when the next enfold update comes, it will give you more options to update the websites like header, footers and so on.
Do you guys have a suggestion form post that we can request some features that users would like when the next update comes up?

Hi!
We don’t have any documentation for it outside of whats included in the theme files. You can of course always do what Kriesi did and write your own regular html+js+css and then add it in to a code element.
The Kriesi.at site, while build *on* Enfold is a customized child theme with elements that are custom to Kriesi’s own specific tastes so there are things that aren’t included in the core theme.
If you dig into the theme files look at
enfold / config-templatebuilder / avia-shortcodes. Each of theme is an element in the ALB. I have a github repo you can fork with so that you can add your own shortcode/layout builder elements to the shortcode folder and they will then be included into the theme here: https://github.com/DevinVinson/enfold-child-starterBest regards,

1.) Please add this on Quick CSS or fix the image overlay:
.avia_transform a .image-overlay, .avia_transform a:hover .image-overlay { width: 100% !important; left: 0 !important; }2.) That’s not possible unless you enclose the image and text block on a container. You should probably add the image on the text block and create a unique div container around it.
3.) No, that’s not normal. The Add Media button should be working. Please download the latest version 2.8.1 from your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. Please refer to this link for more info: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

IsmaelI am not able to make an edit within the style settings I’ll change something, click save, but the settings do not work. My enfold.css file does not update the date modified even though it’s permissions are 755.

As of now, there are no plans of adding custom links on the gallery. Please visit Envato Studio or Werkpress for further customization. You can also vote or post the feature on our Feature Requests page. If there are enough votes for this particular feature, we might add it on the future updates of the theme.

It is possible to set the sidebar overflow to visible but it will break the layout of the theme. You can add something like this on Quick CSS or custom.css:
#top #main .sidebar { overflow: visible; }If you can provide us with a screenshot of what you’re trying to do with the enfold menu, we’ll try to give you the css modifications to get you started.

Hey!
Enfold works with icon fonts, but to be honest i don’t think that set could be converted to an icon font without losing the details.
Implementing that set as PNG is possible but it would require a heavy customization to the theme, unfortunately that’s beyond the scope of the support we can offer. If you really need it try contacting a developer.

I am using the html code from Mailchimp, and pasting it in a code block in Enfold. The “subscribe” button is not showing up. I have searched on this forum and found many people with the same problem. I tried the solutions that worked for them, but their solutions are not working for me.
In the Enfold code block, I have tried enabling checkboxes, etc, and have tried several different entries in the “Code Wrapper Element”. But nothing appears to have any affect.

ok, I’m not going to start arguing about something silly like this.
Could you at least tell me if it is possible to add custom elements to the Advanced Layout Builder and if it is, where I can find some documentation guiding me how to start with?
I’ve been working & designing Genesis themes for a long while and that’s the framework that I’m used to working with. As I mentioned avia & enfold theme is something that I just purchased last night as an alternative to the Genesis themes and haven’t had a chance to really play with it and study it’s files yet.

It’s not, it’s a totally custom element made by Kriesi for this website. However, this element may be added to the Layout Builder in the future if the user base wants it so.
Finally, please check our support scope detailed here.
We cant help with installation of WordPress itself, 3rd party plugins that were not part of the theme package or heavy theme customization.

I’ve got 2 color section set up at 100% height. In the first, one got a button to scroll down to the next section. Kind of like what we have on the demo http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/homepage/home-v7-one-page-portfolio. The difference being that I have 100% height for the color section.
In going with 100% height, each time I click the button to scroll down, it stops scrolling a bit to soon. So I can’t see the bottom of my second section, if I don’t manually scroll down.
Is there a way I could tweak the Y position?

I have another website that is just a WordPress theme and it uploads fine. Just tried. I added a small logo to the header of this Enfold theme via link and that worked. Was wondering if your theme is going to prohibit direct uploading from a computer hard drive?
Hello! Sorry if this is a basic question, but I am fairly new to WordPress and the Enfold theme and am still figuring things out. First off, wanted to say I love the look of the theme so far and look forward to getting to know it better!
My problem is that my website refuses to reflect any color changes made in the “Enfold Theme Options” under the General Stylings tab. I have searched the forum and have found other topics similar to this, but none of the solutions have worked. I tried resetting the default style and also cleared my cache. I have tried looking at the page on different computers and browsers as well. Other settings, such as selecting stretched or boxed width, do work, but anything involving color does not. Would like to get this sorted out, thanks!

I have found i can have multiple recipients in an enfold form. When i put 4 it the email results don’t arrive but when I enter 1 email it works fine.
I’m I only meant to be placing 1 in its place?

JosueI’m having an issue on the page I’ve set up to show our blog posts.
I have the content block to show blog posts set up correctly – and marked to show 10 pages, but since the last update of the Enfold theme, it’s only showing 1 post with the pagination links directly under it.
