I’m trying to edit the default theme file from my FTP to add my own custom html, what is the name of the default theme file in Enfold theme folder in FTP?

Hey pixallus!
That is intentional as the product pages don’t have a sidebar option for them. The only way to change the layout is by modifying the layout output with a bit of code. I did an example snippet to put the sidebar on the right which you can use to change the layout as needed:

I’m not really sure what you mean by not portioned correctly. The one thing that was changed with this past update and portfolios is that they can now be single column and full width (see: http://kriesi.at/archives/enfold-version-2-9-images-with-hotspots-new-lightbox-and-some-portfolio-love) so if you didn’t already have the portfolio element inside of a 1/1 column you can put it inside of one to contain it inside of the “grid”.

YigitHi all,
I’ve just built a website in Enfold (great theme by the way, and really easy to use). I had to create a Norwegian version so activated the Polylang plugin. This seems to work fine, except that now I can’t get the site to revert to the homepage after first navigating to our site. when I navigate away to another page and then want to return home it just goes to a blank page.
Does anybody have an idea why this might be happening?

From the error you posted earlier it seems like you have added the code to functions.php file of your parent theme. In that case it will get lost when the theme is updated. You can create a child theme – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/ and add the code to functions.php file of your child theme and avoid losing the changes you make on theme files

YigitIn the post and in the header settings you can only have both or none or just the title but not just the breadcrumbs
Can you let me know where this is controlled so I can either remove the Title to one of the options or add one option to only show the breadcrumbs

The site is not working now, I got the error message above.
Topic: Change Socket Linkage
I would like to change the Socket linkage settings. Right now it links to Enfold Theme by Kriesi, I would like to have it changed to Admin Login and then change the link to domain.com/wp-admin.
I know I can go in to the CSS and change it in there but I am sure that will change back when the theme is updated. What can I add to make this happen with out going in to the Footer.php?

Topic: Mobile Responsive View
I don’t want my website to be responsive so I changed it in the Enfold settings to Inactive. HOWEVER, because the the intro video does not display on mobile devices, I added a div with the video to display only when @media is active. It works in Responsive mode, but not Inactive mode. How can I leave my website non-responsive, but still target it when viewed on a phone? Or better yet, is there a way to simply display the video on phones instead of the fallback image?

It is on ThemeForest as well. Please login on ThemeForest and go to Downloads section. Enfold theme you have in Downloads section is updated and now it is version 2.9.1 which was released a day after 2.9 to fix a small bug

I’m using enfold for one of my projects. Great Theme! I want to implement a within navigation sidebar as it is on the bootstrap page (e.g.: http://getbootstrap.com/css/) on the left side.
To do so I need to add a given id to the headlines which are rendered through the avia framework. Is there a hook to pass on some data to the rendering script? I localized the html output for headlines (file: config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/heading.php) lines 228 to 233. To be honest I don’t feel comfortable to do any changes to the original source code.
I also need information about the headline (headline, type (h1, h2 etc.), id for the link) outside the loop to render the side menu.
I do have the following questions:
– Is there a hook to add another parameter to the headlines?
– If there isn’t: is the heading.php the right spot to do my modification?
– To render the menu I need the information about the headline structure. Is there a hook to get the information outside the loop?
– I’m using enfold as a parent theme. Is there a way to do the changes to the child-theme structure not to the enfold theme? Placing a heading.php in the same destination in my child-theme didn’t have any impact.

OleI’m kind of stuck. My website and tablet looks fine, but on phones the page shows up with all the HTML. Any ideas of what I’ve messed up?

Do you mean dummy content that you have imported in Enfold theme options? You should remove them manually under Pages, Posts and Comments. If you only have 5 pages on your database and you do not mind re-creating them, you can also create a new database and install WordPress and Enfold from scratch

Currently there is no easy possibility to avoid this space. Would need changes in the core files.Put the following in custom.css or Enfold->Styling-> Quick CSS field to hide ALL inages:
.home article .blog-meta{ display: none; }2)
The image sizes used in the templates are predefined (see functions.php line 91ff). When uploading images WP automatically does the resizing. Best way if you are not satisfied is resizing images manually and then uploading.Regards,

My client just had another customer using IE9 say that the site’s icons are replaced with Chinese characters. (document mode or IE9 emulators don’t show the page the same as using actual IE9)
I already added this potential fix (http://www.fontsquirrel.com/blog/2010/11/troubleshooting-font-face-problems) and I have the latest version of Enfold. What else can I do to fix this problem?
