    Thank you for using the theme.

    You have an old version of the theme which is not compatible with WordPress 3.9.1. Please download the latest version from your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. Please refer to this link for more info: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Note that the update might break some elements on the website because version 2.2 is a bit old and there lots of changes since.

    Do you mind if we take a look at the website? Make sure that you have the latest version of the theme, Enfold 2.9.1. Also, please edit the slider then go Global Settings > Layout > Full-width slider settings. Disable this option then check the page.

    Hey there, After upgrading to the latest version of enfold the portfolio grid layouts are distinctly different. It appears that the portfolio grid will no longer nest nicely within a page that has a sidebar – it takes up the entire width of the page. Even when I change around settings and add the portfolio grid to a color section (as the prompt suggests) I still can’t get it to look like 2.7.

    Please check the private content links. How do I get around this – loads of pages set up like this and client does not want to change this look.

    Hey!

    Thank you for the update.

    First, see if the solution here fix the issue: http://www.fontsquirrel.com/blog/2010/11/troubleshooting-font-face-problems

    You’re using a very old version of the theme, 2.0.1. The update should fix the issue but it might break some elements on the theme especially the header. All you need to do is to modify the theme options again and recreate some page elements on the advance layout builder. Please download the latest version 2.9.1 from your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. Please refer to this link for more info: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Please update the theme as much as possible. Always make sure that you have the latest patch of the theme to fix minor bugs.

    Hello, there!

    How to edit files using child theme? For example, I want to edit class-breadcrumb.php in enfold/framework/php folder. So I created enfold-child/framework/php/class-breadcrumb.php file and tried to change just a title of Home page. But nothing happens.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    We have a problem with our conference, using the Enfold theme. We’ve used the Avia layout builder to build the front page, but we’ve had multiple coloured sections and content disappear from the bottom. This has happened several times, and we’ve had to restore a previous version of the page to get them back.

    This is usually the order of events:

    1. 1. Previously the page has been fine to edit.
    2. Open the page, and things go weird. Sometimes dragging and dropping doesn’t work; sometime some elements cannot be edited.
    3. 2. On saving the page, even for minor edits, multiple sections of the page disappear.
    4. 3. A previous version has to be restored to get the content back.

    I’ve looked through the html/shortcode code to see if there’s something going wrong, but if there is I haven’t been able to find it.

    Any ideas what is going on? This is pretty critical for us at the moment, as the conference has opened registrations.

    Thank you for the info.

    I’m sorry about that. There are lots of changes since 2.2, fyi version 2.2 has been release September last year and there are lots of changes since then. One example is the new header builder on Enfold theme options and more. Please check the change log on Enfold Overview. Good thing you didn’t upgrade WordPress to 3.9 because it will surely break the theme but again version 2.7 of the theme fix this incompatibility issue. It is absolutely necessary that you update the theme frequently to fix minor bugs, get hold of new theme features, element improvements, browser fixes etc, unfortunately, you waited to long to do this.

    Regarding the modifications, please create a change log or use a child theme next time. I’m sorry but it is impossible for us to trace back the changes you’ve made on the theme. Like I said on my previous post, the update might break some elements on the theme.

    When I create a page in Enfold, the page title field is not displayed. (When I say page title I am referring to the values returned by <?php the_title(); ?>
    To get around this I have to create a text block and write text in an h1 tag.

    How can I use the page title as an h1 tag in Enfold? Is it redundant? I would like to display it on all pages like in other WP themes.
    Do I need to edit the template files?

    I did a manual update using FTP, and only changed the files that had been altered since the version I had installed, which was 2.8.1. I have uploaded a clean and completely new version of 2.9.1 on the server, and will swap over to that, hoping this will fix it but I have run into fatal errros before when updating Enfold manually via FTP. Any thoughts on that?

    Step #1: simple is as simple does. done and done.

    Step #2: ..and the good stuff I’m looking for; is it as easy to change the preview images in the Enfold (Avia) Combo Widget & Enfold Latest Portfolio Widget to reflect the same landscape format? say in a 102 x 28 frame? (currently showing the 108 x 36 widget thumbnail in a 28 x 28 frame)

    Hi,

    I can’t work out what I am doing wrong. I can’t work out how to add ‘share with’-type functionality under each blog entry. I tried to follow some instructions I found on your site telling me to look for ‘Enfold theme options > Blog Layout and choose the ones you would like to display in “Share links at the bottom of your blog post” section’. But I can not find that anywhere?

    My site is hosted with wp engine, and is set to automatically update from the enfold theme update tab within my control panel, using the Themeforest API key.

    Please can you help?

    First, thanks for crafting Enfold — a great theme! The issue is a minor annoyance with the Woo Commerce plugin and I don’t know whether it’s their plugin or some minor compatibility issue with Enfold: on the landing page of the demo shop, my opening promo blurb shows up along with the product categories and featured image just as I want them to do. Yeah!

    However, just below my opening blurb is an annoying error message that I cannot seem to get rid of: “No products found which match your selection.” I tried changing/deleting that phrase on the plugins/woocommerce/templates/loop/no-products-found.php file but it made no difference.

    I want to get rid of this because in a live store it could be confusing to the customer.

    Hi, I have Enfold and am trying to add a masonry gallery of photos to a page, but when I go to the layout builder, no such feature appears (not in the layout, content, or media elements tabs). I saw a vimeo video that shows the button to add the masonry things should be in those tabs, but it just isn’t there. What’s going on?

    Hi,
    I made a new instalation from zero.
    Install WP
    Correct the wp-config with all configuration (memory and the other above)
    Install Enfold via FTP
    Activate the theme
    Create a Home page for test
    Create a Text compenet with text
    The Advanced Editor was working
    Install WooCommerce via FTP
    Activate WooCommercer
    The Advanced Editor does NOT work anymore.
    WooCommerce system status all green.
    In this new instalation there is NO other plugin except WooCommerce.

    Versioin:
    WordPress 3.9.1
    Enfold 2.9
    WooCommerce 2.1.12

    I hope you guys can see some things

    I’ve found enfold a fantastic theme, but I have a problem I cannot understand. I use for the pages a slider or an image of a wordle. They are standard jpg. On a Pc it’s all regular but on tablet instead of the wordle you can se only few colored lines. What I can do?

    that fixed it, opens in Lightbox with W3 enabled!

    Problem is that is in the Enfold Theme file so when I update it to the next version will I have to manually amend line 801 every time and also for new installs of the theme?

    Hey Micheal0424!

    1) Page Caching has nothing to do with the theme but with your wordpress setup. You can use tools like W3TC or SuperCache to cache your website. Both cache plugins should work with Enfold although W3TC is hard to configure properly and I recommend to use SuperCache for page caching.

    2) URL Rewriting can be done with the permalink options (Settings > Permalinks). Enfold does not affect/change the permalink settings.
