Hi,
For some reason, my menu left below or right below does not work. The one up top does if I enable that, but when I put it down below, I am unable to click any links except for the selected page. The underscore hover doesn’t move either and the background became transparent. I disabled all plugins, it did not fix. Then uploaded a fresh copy of Enfold, did not work. .htacces write works on all other sites on my dedicated server and is writing identical things on this site to the other sites using the same enfold theme. Turned it on and off to top menu to menu below to see if that would shake it out. Changed back perma links to default and then to post, by day, date, back to post, still didn’t fix. Could you please check it out?

I’ve recently been in touch with Yoast SEO over a redirect issue in the Woo Commerce products. Apparently this issue stems from the Enfold theme (according to them). Here’s my original message to them:

Hi Yoast Support,

For some reason the Yoast SEO Plugin seems to be creating loop redirects that allow pages not to be opened. It’s doing this on Woo Commerce project pages (specifically that I know of). Go here: http://staging.expresswriters.com/content-shop/ and try to click on and go to “Client Interview”. You’ll see the issue occur. If I delete the product (temporarily throw it in trash), it will pick the next product which is “Stock Images”, and repeat the same redirect loop issue.

I noticed if I completely disable the Yoast plugin, all issues stop. Previously, before I troubleshooted it and disabled the plug-in, I first looked at the redirects section which showed multiple redirects that I never created. It’s almost like a plug-in auto generated redirecting rules. I deleted them, but the issue still persists.

Me again. I have another weird image-sizing type issue. On this page: http://dev.stefaniesomers.com/studio-stefanie-somers/
Check out the pages linked to the first two thumbnails (yes, I know this is a plug-in – that’s not the issue, but it’s easier to take you to the pages via this plug-in, it’s only configured as a linking mechanism)

I built these pages as copies of each other i.e., I built the first one, (the waterfall looking earrings with all the teardrop shapes), copied it, built the red and fuschia earring page from that (http://dev.stefaniesomers.com/studio/mekayla-studio/), copied it, and built the third one. Here’s where things got weird.

The third page, named CARLYN (http://dev.stefaniesomers.com/studio/carlyn-studio-2/), I can’t get the danged image to size correctly – it wants to present landscape and cropped – but I haven’t changed a single setting! Have I missed something that IS different? Do I need a vacation?

My goggle pag score has dropped since using the enfold theme. My use of the theme is image intensive. I follow best practices for progressively optimizing our of photoshop and set to 72dpi. I further optimize all images on upload into WP with plugin EWWW Image Optimizer which uses google recommended JPEGTRAN/optipng/pngout.

I am using file size 1860X1238 which then is resized by Enfold to support the various image content features of the theme.

I think the images in the front page are being resized and are not being selected from the resizing that has already been done.

I’d like to improve my google page sped score as well as kingdom and others.

I have disabled my CDN until this theme and content and my training and experiences improves. that will be my final step

It seems that, with a recent update of Enfold, the portfolio grid on my client’s site has switched from the width of the site (max width:1030px, in this case) to full width. My client wants it back the way it was and I’m having trouble finding a way of handling that. Can you help me get this portfolio grid back to max width 1030?

Hello Kriesi,
I am having an odd situation when setting up my website with Enfold and WPML.
I have 2 Pages defined in 2 languages and have NO menus defined yet.
However, when I call the website, there are three menu entries on the top right.
Why are they there? Are they defined anywhere?

Enfold admin has crashed for me.

If I click “Save all changes”, the operation times out and the alert says “Saving didn’t work!
Please reload the page and try again.” Reloading the page does not help.

If I try to edit a page using the Avia Layout Builder, none of my content appears in the layout area. The whirling circle just keeps whirling.

The web site itself is still working and WordPress administration that is not specific to Enfold seems to be working fine.

Hi,

I had this line in my child theme:
if(strpos($headerS,’social_header’) !== false)

which now throws the warning
strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in childtheme/header.php

Can you point me in the direction of some documentation that might help me? I still want this same logic to show the social header.
