Hi,
I have this problem that I find quite “stupid” – I have tried several plugins that takes care of subscriptions, email – lists etc.
They dont work as they should. That is, a visitor can register for subscription – but the email service does not work. When I try to send an email to my subscribers, nothing happens. When I post something on my page, my subscribers dont receive anything.I dont know if this has anything to do with Enfold – but if it has, maybe I have some setting somewhere which blocks outgoing emails.

1.) Unfortunately, the theme is using icon fonts for the social icons. You need to modify the code in order to do that or apply the new social image icon as background. If you want to change the twitter social icon for example, you can use this on Quick CSS or custom.css:
#top .social_bookmarks li a:before { content: ''; } li.social_bookmarks_twitter a { background: url('ICON IMAGE URI HERE') !important; }2.) You can change the menu and logo position on Enfold > Header > Menu and Logo Position.
3.) You can only use the Easy Slider on column layouts.

I’m afraid it’s not a good idea to disable avia.js because it holds most of the theme script like lightbox, responsive menu, header etc. Do you mind if we take a look at the website? What script conflict are you currently having?

The grid.css file doesn’t have anything to do with google fonts. Maybe a plugin issue but when I checked the website, the menus are currently using Arvo which is a google font.

Thanks for a great theme and your customer support.
I launched my new website with Enfold and built it in WP 3.6.1. I would like to upgrade to 3.9.2 and not have any issues with customizations I have made to the theme not carrying over when I update.
After researching, I found that you can set up a parent/child theme so that I can upgrade without losing anything.
Can you please provide me with instructions and anything else I should know before attempting an upgrade?
Should I upgrade my theme as well? (my current version is 2.2)

Hi,
I already tried searching for my problem but could not find a fitting solution.
My problem is concerning the previos and next arrows that appear within Woo Commerce in Enfold. I mean those black ones on the left and right edge of the screen that just really appear when you are hovering over them.
My problem is that the products in the shop have been published at different times (and that is, so far as I have understood it, the sorting mechanism).
I would like those arrows only to navigate within its own category and not cross-link to other categories.

Hi,
I’m new with wordpress and Enfold… and I’ve just made my first mistake!
I was trying to add a bottom arrow following the instructions here; so I changed the functions.php and reuploaded it via FTP. But my site broke. I had a fullscreen slider with a video in my hp, but now there’s no way to bring it back to work…
So I tried re-uploading the original functions.php file, but nothing changed. I’ve also downloaded Enfold again, and I’ve re-uploaded a brand new functions.php file, with no success.
Can you help me fixing this problem?Thank you!

I have a problem with some JS functions in the enfold theme. In the admin area everything works fine, but in the normal view (for logged out users) a lot of functions are not working: layer slider, testimonials, maps , etc.

I have moved our site to a different hosting account using the plugin Duplicator. In fact I have moved two sites. With the first one (not using Enfold) I had no problems making the change but with the one I use Enfold I get a few issues. Once I have done all the procedure I can access the site and most of the posts and pages and css looks good. The home page and portfolio pages don’t look correct.
The main issue though, is that I can’t acces the dashboard. When I try I get this error message:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 49152 bytes) in /home/educatoy/public_html/cuinestramuntana.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/slideshow_accordion.php on line 167
Could you tell me if there is a simple solution for this error.

The first problem is solved.As for creating the side menu although your post is very explanatory i was not able to do this as I dont know how to code at all. (wp newbie)

I have initially edited my posts without ALB and was able to select a few social sharing icons for display at the end of the posts via an option available under Enfold – Blog styling.
Now that I am using ALB that option does not work anymore and I am not sure what code to add and where in order to achieve the following:I would like to have at the bottom of all my posts in the blog the following icons in the following order (with the corresponding links for sharing/printing/emailing):
– Print icon (with a link to the printer-friendly page)
– E-mail icon (with a window opening allowing the reader to send the post via e-mail)
– LinkedIn icon (with a window opening allowing the reader to share the post on his/her LinkedIn account)
– Twitter icon (same idea)
– Google+ icon (same idea), and

1) Enfold does not come with “special” WPML options because they’re simply not necessary. As soon as WPML is activated Enfold will create a separate (independent) option set for each WPML language. You can i.e. choose a different logo, color scheme, homepage, blog page, etc. for each language. The option page will display the language shortcut next to the theme name (i.e. Enfold (EN), Enfold (FR), Enfold (DE)) and you can use the language switcher in the admin bar to switch between the language option sets. The Quick CSS field is fully compatible with WPML – the only disadvantage is that you need to switch to all languages to save the quick css changes. So if you want to use your styling for ALL languages it’s better to add the css code to the child theme style.css file. On the other hand the Quick CSS field enables you to use some style code with certain languages only.
2) We have no documentation for WPML. There’s just one entry: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/translating-the-portfolio-slug-with-wpml/ regarding the portfolio slug setup. You can find the official WPML documentation here: http://wpml.org/documentation/
3) The Avia Builder is fully compatible with WPML. I recommend to duplicate the layout you want to translate. I.e. if you want to duplicate the English page/post tick the “duplicate” checkbox and click the duplicate button: http://www.clipular.com/c/6119929287802880.png?k=loBt_iScpDt0C3ouj7fQWSBncOw . Afterwards go to the duplicated “translation” of the page and click the “Translate Independently” button: http://www.clipular.com/c/6352167833174016.png?k=UZaLhUaust52mHmU_TkKpZ8RQnY . Then translate the template like a standard page (click on the elements to edit them, etc.)

i really like the Enfold theme! It’s great.
I only use an other accordion slider because i can customize it much more.
But there is a problem: the default slider from Enfold works full width whithout any restriction.
The slider I use I have to put in a post ans than it wil appear on the site.
But it won’t come full with.It depends on where I insert the accordion. The default slider is added in the ‘main’ element, which is full width, so the slider will also be full width. If I add the plugin accordion slider in the same section it will be full width as well. But it seems to be impossible.
The only option I have is to put the plugin accordion slider inside the post’s content (with shortcode) and the posts don’t stretch full width. They have a limit set thought CSS. The limit is 910 or 1030 or 1210 pixels, depending on the screen size. If I add the default slider in a post it won’t stretch full width anymore because of the limit set for content added to posts. So, the plugin accordion slider doesn’t add that white space, it’s Enfold that adds it.
What can i do to put the accordion plugin on full width?

You can use this shortcode:
[add_to_cart id="99"]and replace 99 with the product id.
You can’t use the shortcode with the Enfold button shortcode but the style of the button should be similar to the button shortcode style (like the add to cart button on the demo page: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/product/zoku-trioquick-pop-maker/ ).

1) You can try this code but I’m not sure if it works with the “events” post type. Insert it into the enfold/functions.php or child theme functions.php file (at the very bottom)

I’m not sure though if the Events plugin supports it or if the plugin manipulates the next/prev urls somehow.
2) This link is not generated by our theme. If you want to change the link url or text please contact the plugin author because we can’t answer questions regarding the usage or customization of third party plugins.

Hi, i’m testing to see how WooCommerce will work with Enfold and I wanted to know if you might be able to help me figure something out.
I created products and I would like to add “buy buttons” on a non WooCommerce page (not a product page) that will go to the cart and will have all the information of a specific product. I know WooCommerce supports shortcodes but I can’t figure out which shortcode to use and also, how can I add a shortcode within an already existing Enfold button shortcode.
Any ideas?

YigitTengo un curioso problema en la visualización de ciertos producfos en woocommerce dentro de Enfold….con algunas imagenes cuyos links coloco aquí, el resto se puede comparar navegando las otras opciones en Store…el punto es que no se porque razón, las imagenes siendo rectangulares se miran en un alto completamente distinto, siendo que hay otras, muchas, rectangulares con las mismas medidas que se ven correctamente……
Como se puede solucionar?
Con eso en principio la tienda quedaría perfecta…espero alguien me pueda ayudar a encontrar la solución…es realmente un misterio

El resto se mira bien, que puede suceder? como se soluciona? porque ya me di cuenta que no es problema del tamaño de las imágenes que son prácticamente todas iguales en alto por ejemplo…..y en ancho casi!!!

Y para finalizar que regla CSS debo modificar para poder cambiar el estilo del botón de “Submit” en el formulario de contacto y el estilo de las fonts de la página de contacto sin modificar el resto del sitio?
