@bjornwallman – Even if you installed a fresh copy of the theme on top of itself that file (/wp-content/themes/enfold/js/toucheffects.js) could be write protected so that it doesn’t get deleted.
If you aren’t checking errors when writing over things then it could have thrown an error that the file wasn’t able to removed or if you were only uploading the theme again it wouldn’t have been deleted.
So once again, the file toucheffects.js is not part of Enfold and ThemeForest wouldn’t let a theme with malware be uploaded for re-distribution anyway. They scan all files and must approve all updates before they can be rolled out.

If you have not updated your theme files in the past week or so to Enfold version 2.9.2 you will need to do that to bring the theme up to date with the changes from WordPress 4.0.

Hi!
That’s because those posts are built with the Advanced Layout Builder, if you don’t want the _aviaLayoutBuilderCleanData postmeta to get stored with your posts you’d need to switch back to the normal editor and rely on manual shortcodes only.

In the Enfold Theme Options the current minimum value for ‘Header Layout’ -> ‘Header Custom Height’ is 45px. How does one define a custom value that’s less than 45px?
Thanks!I have narrowed down the issue of the editor not allowing links or adding media in the post editor, as well as some other editor functionality not working, is there a fix coming or another theme which supports the avia layout builder that i can switch too? I switched to a default theme and the functionality has been corrected….suggestions?

Tengo la web hecha con la plantilla “enfold”, entro ayer en mi wordpress y me proponen actualizar la versión de wordpress al 4.0. Actualicé
Y no sé si es coincidencia o que hay algún problema con la versión 4.0 de wordpress, pero el caso es que desde ese momento no puedo editar ninguna página de mi web. Si es un problema de incompatibilidad de enfold con el wordpress 4, me imagino que quizás haya algún “pache” o “plugin” o “actualización” de la plantilla que la haga compatible. ¿es así?.
Y si el problema no viene por ahí, no sé donde puede estar.
El caso es que no puedo seguir trabajando en la construcción de mi web porque no puedo editar ninguna página.

When I went into the WP Dashboard and selected Enfold Childtheme > Update to version 2.9. Nothing happened.
But I went back into WP Dashboard just now and took a different route: Update > Themes > ENFOLD THEME. This updated. Then I was able to go to Enfold Child theme and the update worked.

I just started noticing that my text, both strong and widget text, is extra bold. The only changes I have made is styling a Gravity Forms, but even still, I cannot find any CSS that changes the beforementioned CSS.
I changed the strong CSS in the Quick CSS function in the Enfold Settings but want to try and get to the root of the problem. Do know what may have caused this, and how I can address this?
I can leave the adjusted strong CSS as is, but cannot figure out how to change my widgets, here: http://philly-sales.com/home-design/three-ways-dark-walls/.

Hi, Enfold is a great theme – I have five instances of it. Really love it. Question… I just uploaded a new version to a site I manage. It installed and activated successfully. However, when I try to adjust the basic theme settings (home page, etc.) the theme is unresponsive. Have I forgotten to do something?
FYI (Maybe Important) I host with SiteGround. I upgraded to their most robust Plan (GoGeek) this past Monday. The upgrade required moving all of my sites from one server to another. During the upgrade the site in question was wrecked. (jamesoneillandthesilvershadows.com) The most current iteration of it was lost running Enfold, replaced by an old legacy version (running Kriesi’s Incarnation). Here’s the GoGeek Plan. Never had any problems with the smaller plan, just needed more. http://goo.gl/ACgUzI
The other sites seem OK – fully responsive.

I enabled the captcha also.But still all the queries submitted via contact form are being received in my spam folder.
I have the email id with my domain only.

I actually installed a brand new download of ENFOLD and I still got black listed… why is this happening? Is it b/c I use the same DB? Why are these files inside ENFOLD , I didn’t add any 3rd party plug ins
We really need to figure this out or I won’t be able to use ENFOLD again (the client would fire me).

Is it possible to enable Styleswitcher on our website? So end-user can choose the style they like.
If it’s not in Enfold, is there a plugin for frontend Styleswitcher (prob a widget). I know some good slide-in plugins, so I just need Styleswitcher plugin/widget.

yes, it is pretty annoying. Our website was hacked on friday and after removing some of the malware by hand, using antivirus, sucuri net and wp antivirus protection guard, still some files were infected. since switching theme is not an option for us, we now had to engage professional service of protection guard to have our site cleaned and de-blacklisted. I do not want to think about the loss we are facing.

its not really an “Enfold” question… sorry. We have two installations with the enfold theme. And we have to copy some pages from one to the other. As we have more than 200 Pages and need to export 50 Pages I am wondering if the themes offers some possibility to do that. If not, I will use the wordpress export and delete all pages I don’t need.Thanks a lot for your help.

I untick the blog meta elements in Enfold Theme Options corresponding to Blogpost Date and Comment Count and it works fine on individual blogposts.
I would also like to remove the same meta elements from being displayed in the general blogpage and in the blog posts element.

I completely had to remove ENFOLD to get Google to NOT black list my website
Each time Google would black list our website (clients site) and point to different ENFOLD files as being hacked even though theENDOLD version I was using is verion 2.9.2 (latest version)
Last time Google point’s to /wp-content/themes/enfold/js/toucheffects.js as being infected
This might be part of a much wider issue with this theme?
Please advise? I can’t use ENFOLD for anything until this has been resolved
