Hi,
I’m having 2 problems, I can’t update to 3.0 I receive a warning message. I also can’t expand the show all options in the Enfold menu. I have a screen grab of the warning issue but can’t see where to attach it?

Hi Yigit,
If I’m using the Enfold child theme, can I add that line of code to the child functions.php file, i.e., will that code overwrite the main theme’s code? Or, in this case, do I have to edit the Enfold theme’s function file directly?

@bstevy Please try renaming of Plugins folder in wp-content folder and check if that helps. Also Please try to increase the allocated memory to 128M: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

I suspect it’s a WAMP localhost or a configuration parameter. If I figure it out (or not) I’ll add another comment to this support ticket. Your attached screenshot with table layout is similar to the demo import and how it’s mapped on my end.

1) Install the parent theme on the network.
2) Activate & configure the parent theme on each sub site separately (Do not network activate)
3) Install the child theme on the network.
4) Activate and configure the child theme on each sub site (Do not network activate)A. When making a change to the configuration of the theme, do this to the parent theme that has been activated / sub site.
B. When customizing or overriding the parent, do this on each child theme that has been activated / sub site.Have I stated it correctly?
Also, when upgrading Enfold – do I upgrade both Parent and Child themes?

I am afraid I have never heard or seen an issue like this. As for the options. Apart from the fact that what you describe seems to be fine to me ( see my demo import: http://cl.ly/XvJA ) the theme does not alter any of the options other than the ones starting with “avia” or “enfold”
I am afraid I have no idea on how to reproduce this issues, especially since I am not a server expert :/ (And I would assume that this has something to do with the server, since no other user out of the 40.000 using enfold has reported the issue yet)
If we can’t find the problem here we might need to wait if someone else shows up with the same issue so we can start cross referencing settings…

The Issue:
Using the Enfold theme, I have an IFrame positioned about halfway down my sales page which I have inserted via the Code Block Content Element. When I load the page on my mobile device, Enfold automatically scrolls down to the location of the IFrame. I have confirmed that the IFrame is the cause by eliminating the IFrame from the page and reloading. When I do this, the page loads as expected with the headline at the top.
What I’ve done:
Aside from removing the IFrame to determine that it was the cause, I’ve checked the source code of the IFrame itself to see if there was anything that might be triggering the behavior. Nothing was immediately apparent but something is causing Enfold to behave in this way.
What I need:
I need the sales page to load as normal, with the headline at the top. I don’t want the page to auto scroll to the location of the IFrame.

Hi there,
First of all: I really like your theme most of all wp-themes (I tested some) and I’m excited about the 3.0 version. I’m actually using enfold in the third client-project now and think I’m going to make it my choice for all the next web projects!
Now, I was looking if it’s possible to insert widgets in a mega menu and if yes how can this be done? I learned from an other topic that there should be a way but I did not understand how to do that. What I want to do is placing a simple callback form there. Can you help me here?

You can turn on Custom CSS field for ALB elements ( http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/turn-on-custom-css-field-for-all-alb-elements/ ) and give your existing slider a unique CSS class ( i.e.: desktop-slider ) and create another slider right below it just to display on mobile and give it a unique class as well ( i.e.: mobile-slider ) and then add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab

OK for those having the same issues, here’s what i found – i had searched numerous threads on this subject, and each one had a different “fix” – none of which worked for me. but i did find one thread that provided a clue – mentioning that each megamenu has its “own name” based on the configuration you set up for your own site.
so using firebug, i found the code for “my” megamenu installations, and inserted this code into Custom CSS in the Enfold control panel:
.avia_mega_div.avia_mega5.twelve.units { right: -1360px !important; }and it seems to work – on Mac Firefox, Chrome and less so on Safari. But at least they are all more or less centered now, as drop-downs.
I hope this is helpful. If any Kriesi team members can help further explain what’s happening, that would be great for those who come later for help on this thread.

Thanks for the code. As for the css that won’t show up, I’m desperate…I cannot develop the site. My host tells me everything is fine because I’m on development mode and I have disable any cache that could have been in place. And when I switch theme if I use 2014 and put some css in the editor, it’s fine.
And I have this other problem which no one as answered yet and seems to have a cache problem as well and only happen with enfold
