I would like to show custom text in the title bar instead of the page title. I know many themes provide that option. Is there a way to do that in Enfold?

Enfold has a lovely feature built in that allows you to copy settings from the parent to the child. Of course that isn’t going to find the theme file modifications. Given it takes less than 5 minutes to set up a child theme, and the developer failed to do so, I wonder if you really want to find out what they did and replicate it? You may have a more solid footing going forward if you replicate the design and functionality that is important to you without necessarily following what has gone before.
That said, you could obtain a clean copy of the same version number of the theme, and you could then use a diff tool to find differences in the files.
The mods may have a better method, and I’m sure one of them will be along soon…

I was wondering if you could help me with a query. I would like the social media icons that are defaulted at the header to be placed centrally at the footer. I have initially used the in-built social media section via the Enfold-Header Layout section.
Having seen the response you have given to others and tried to apply the same codes they have not worked because I think they are specific to the queried sites and not mine.
Also, on a separate issue, my photos that I have uploaded are currently in lo-res as a trial but they appear cropped. I will upload the hi-res photos this week and am concerned they will show in exactly the same way.
Can you help in any way?

Hi guys,
today, out of the blue the blog sidebar disappeared from the site leaving a blank space. No widgets are visible and I haven’t done anything to the site.
Can you help me out? The page is https://casateulada.com/activities/ and below the fullscreen slider you used to see a right sidebar with the widgets I placed there. If you look in the back end they are all in the blogsidebar.
I haven’t set the ‘activites’ page as the blog page in Enfold settings, I never set the blog page in Enfold general settings because it never displays the page the way I want, so it has always worked fine to just have no page selected and just choose one I want to be a blog, in this case the ‘activites’ page, then add the blog elements from the Avia builder.
I leave you the credentials to log into the dashboard as admin. Thank you!

PS: If you click on a blogpost, for example this one https://casateulada.com/top-10-beaches-in-south-western-sardinia/ you’ll see the sidebar as it shows correctly. The same sidebar used to show up until this afternoon also where it is now blank, i.e. https://casateulada.com/activities/

I have just updated my site from enfold 2.9.2 to the latest available, in addition to updating to wordpress 4. I use a child theme. On various pages I should have right sidebars. Since the update the sidebars have gone, leaving just a border line. I looked at all the relevant settings but couldn’t change anything. I tried changing the proportions of sidebar and main column, but that didn’t change anything.
Luckily, I had manually upgraded and had simply renamed the original version of enfold. I have now renamed the new version, so I have stopped using 3.0.1 at the moment. As soon as I reverted to the previous version of enfold, the problem vanished, without any setting changes.
Luckily, the update isn’t really necessary for me, but I’d prefer to update if I can.

(1) first of, a big thank you to you and the whole Kriesi team. I can’t say it better: the support team is great, ALWAYS here and this buys a peace of mind found nowhere else.

(5) To me, the main issue with this ticket is using firefox (FF). To fix that, I simply use Chrome and there is nothing to complain about – for me at least.
So we all keep this going. The Enfold theme may experience some little issues when there is a big release or WP upgrade but this is something we should all expect when we release something new in the blue and get feedback. I do accept that part of the game. And whatever problem we have, Kriesi always fixes it nicely. So. Enfold is like a present, and we should take it like that. Sometimes people do not realize how much they get for so little money. All my friends to whom I recommended Enfold started or switched to WordPress because of this theme. It empowers us to make many things possible.I’m looking for Quick CSS codes that help customize the enfold theme portfolio sliders only and not the whole page. I want to change the background color, text alignment, and text color where the title and excerpt reside.
I have tried other codes found in the forum but nothing has worked properly yet.
Any help you could provide would be appreciated.

I have issues with Enfold Portfolio entries’ text editor since I upgraded WordPress to version to 3.9.2:
– both Visual and Text formats show html tags
– the wisiwig editing buttons are displayed only when I select the Text format.
– the text color in the Visual format is white so I can’t see anything when make updates.This is a big issue for me as I have to train my crient to use the editor and she’s not familiar with code.
I upgraded WordPress to the 4.0 version a week ago but had to go back to 3.9.2. In fact, I couldn’t access the text editor anymore.
I use the latest Enfold version.Many thanks for your help.

there are quite a few issues dealing with the fullwidth submenu – which is by the way a really huge improvement to enfold, great idea and really nice done.
But as posts like https://kriesi.at/support/topic/fullwidth-sub-menu-not-displaying-correct-menu/ or https://kriesi.at/support/topic/full-width-submenu-not-displaying-proper-menu/ show, there obviously is an issue with which menu is to be displayed, same one i am facing.
No matter, what menu i chose to show up, the submenu performs this one specific menu, but never the one i picked. In some cases this is due to caching plugins issues, turning them off seemed to solve the display problem, so did i. But in my case, there is no difference between W3C on or off.
Is there any other solution possible? This would be great, thanks.

We just upgraded to the latest version of the Enfold theme and I’m having issues with the the social media and search icons not appearing in the themes header and footer. It just shows the text.

I have my website successfully converted to the new photography design.
At the Pc and on the iPhone, the site looks great and works nice.
But what about the iPad? On the iPad, the sides are cut off and displayed line breaks where none should be.
Are you already working on improvements? Is there a way on the iPad also display the mobile optics?

Can you please do something so that the menu font gets smaller as the width gets lower than 1405px?

You can use the built-in Enfold advertising widget, but i think you’d need to change the Content | Sidebar Ratio (General Layout) so the ads have the space required (~395px width).
Once you done that add this code to the Quick CSS:
