Thanks for your feedback, I see this is already reported on our GitHub issues,
I’m sure the Dev Team will reply to the GitHub issue.

But I believe this is because the Translation plugin doesn’t run in the backend, it is a frontend function using str_replace() thus using encoded characters for the backend mail function are needed.
I have forwarded this for feedback and will reply when I hear back.

I can’t find an update option for the template, current installed version is 3.8.

I can see the in the WP panel that the template has issues with updating php to 7 or later.
What’s the way to go? Can the template be updated to a later version with more php compatibility?
There is a newer version of the template that has to be acquired?

Enfold 3.8 is a very old version that is incompatible with PHP 7.x and WordPress 6.x. Updating Enfold to the latest version 5.4.1 would make it compatible.

You can log in on ThemeForest with the account you used when purchasing the theme and go to the Downloads page to download the latest version of Enfold.

If you don’t have access to the ThemeForest account, you would need to purchase a new license.

if this is the case, the transition is easily doable or the website needs to be rebuilt?

If you have not made any modifications on parent theme files, you can update the theme but to be on the safe side, we’d recommend you to create a staging copy first and update the theme there.

Did you check the favicon URL after enabling SSL? You may need to adjust the URL of the favicon (Enfold > Theme Options > Favicon) and make sure that the URL is using https instead of http.

1.) These elements will only be enabled or will only be visible in the single post page. If you want to adjust grid layout, you have to modify the shortcode templates in the enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-shortcodes\postslider file directly.

2.) Since you are using the Advance Layout Builder (ALB) for the post, you have to add the Comments element manually in the builder or the editor in order to display the discussions and the comment form.

3.) You can add this filter in the functions.php file to adjust the layout of the archive or category pages.
