Hey mateodc,
Thank you for the inquiry.
The site is not loading on our end. What is the current version of the theme? You may need to do the update to version 6.0 manually via S/FTP. Please check the documentation below for more info:
// https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/#update-via-ftp
// https://kriesi.at/archives/the-complete-guide-to-updating-enfold

Hi,
Thank you for the screenshot.
The fonts are not selected as either body or heading fonts; Open Sans is set for both. Please select the desired fonts in the Enfold > General Styling > Fonts tab. You’ll find the custom fonts at the very bottom of the list.
Where did you add the CSS code? We can’t find it in the Quick CSS field.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi,
Thank you for the update.
If there is another way to target individual items let me know that as well.
The theme automatically adds unique IDs (e.g., av-lxxntb3b-96793073ee8d9b43abc1bef7251d9ab3) to the elements, which can be used to adjust their styles or run scripts. Besides this, you can also add custom CSS class names or IDs to the elements by editing them and applying the values in the Advanced > Developer Settings toggle. Look for the Custom CSS Class Name or Custom ID Attribute fields. For more info, please check the links below:
// https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/add-custom-css/#enable-custom-css-class-name-support
Here’s how to inspect the elements:
// https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/add-custom-css/#how-to-inspect-an-element-on-the-page

Ismael
Hi,
Thank you for the inquiry.
We’ve found a few script errors on the page, which might be why the mobile view isn’t working. The scripts are currently compressed, so we can’t precisely identify where the error is generated. Please try toggling or temporarily disabling the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings, then purge the cache. Let us know if the issue persists.
Best regards,
Ismael

May I ask whether this Enfold version(latest) is compatible with earlier versions i.e. Enfold 4.5.1
If purchased and applied to the site, will it resolve the issues on our WordPress site (critical error) as detailed in yesterday’s earlier post?
I don’t have/know where to find the API license key for the earlier version so I am happy to purchase the upgrade Enfold 5 version and consider any available support options
Hello,
We recently had our site vulnerable by some virus. We were able to do a health clearance but now the Enfold is not working/loading all the components properly of our site http://www.transportesverticales.com
When I try to get into the theme to update it, this is the only option I can access: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ymLyRc7U2LSVxTpNsYTrOAaDEUXkFhKP/view?usp=sharing
Basically the main page with very limited options.
It there another way I can access the theme to update it and make it work?
Thanks!
Hi jimboo64,
Please open a new thread and include a link to your site, so that we can have a closer look at it.
We’ll close this thread for now.

Hi,
I replaced the content of /enfold/config-woocommerce/config.php file with this https://pastebin.com/5gm1bEMv in Appearance > Theme Editor.
I checked your categories and I can see the banners. This may not be the final fix but I couldn’t find any issues on my local installation. Please check your pages and let us know if something isn’t working correctly.
Thank you for the report, Steve and I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
Best regards,

I’ve updated a couple of WooCommerce sites to Enfold 6.0 this afternoon and on both the category image no longer shows with any of the banner display options.
- Default shows the image
- The 4 fullwidth banner options don’t show the image but throw an error in console that it’s trying to load an array rather than an image url
- The 2 responsive banner options work.
Up until updating to version 6.0 today we’ve used the ‘Display thumbnail and description as fullwidth banner with parallax effect below header’ option with the H1 category title centered over the top of it.
Any ideas please?
I have found a glitch in the mobile view of the website .. i have uploaded a screen-recording of my phone to show the issue very clearly:
here: https://www.eventyard.org/RecordIt-1719603600.MP4
I have asked on of my guys and he sent me this:
For some reasons, the theme is forcing to scroll up the page whenever an anchor tag is being clicked. In this case, we would like to suggest to directly contact the theme support so they can review and advise possible workaround.
The responsible script can be found in enfold/js/avia.js file under avia_ajax_call
if( $.fn.avia_smoothscroll )
{
$(‘a[href*=”#”]’, container).avia_smoothscroll(container);
}
Hope this information helps.
Hello,
I was performing a mobile review of our website (link below in private content area) and noticed that the mobile burger menu doesn’t work. Upon inspection, this is the link it’s set to; https://chipyourcar.com/#
Troubleshooting steps we’ve already done;
1. Updated all plugins and enfold them (WordPress is also updated)
2. Cleared cache
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello dear Enfold team,
can I install my purchased Enfold theme on another domain I own, or do I need to purchase a new license?
Thanks for your Answer

Hi,
Please go to Appearance > Menus, click the Screen Options on the top right corner, check the CSS Classes option, expand the menu item you’d like to edit, and give it a custom CSS class ( https://imgur.com/a/tfeRy5S ).
Then, go to the Enfold theme options > General Styling > Quick CSS, and add the following code:
#top #header .av-main-nav li.custom-menu-color > a { color: red; }
Regards,
Yigit
I was able to resolve the issue with saving the the enfold settings with my host; the firewall was blocking it. This is now working. However, the problem with the page builder persists. I have activated the debug mode, and the content is visible there, but with the page builder, I still only see the loading symbol.
Awesome new update. Thanks for the great work!
Some small feedback from me after I looked a little bit into the update.
accessibility: added aria-label=’…’ to elements where user entered a “Custom Title Attribute” in addition to title=’….’
That’s not working with the Button Element. There’s still only the title attr and not aria-label. Would also be nice to be able to fill the field with the new custom field stuff. E.g. the Button Text is “Read More” but the aria-label should be “Read More: {post.title}”
We had a website checked by an company for accessibility. They said that the main content should be wrapped in <main>. Enfold only has <div id=”main”>. I changed that div in dev tools to the main-tag and didn’t encounter any issues. Could you look into that? Would also be nice if we have <header></header><main></main><footer></footer> but I think the footer stuff would be more complex because the footer tag is only the socket and not the #footer. Maybe <footer><div id=”footer”></div><div id=”socket”></div></footer> but that could potentially break someones css.
We are currently doing a lot of accessibility changes in our projects so I maybe come back with some further change requests. I already reported the aria-expanded stuff for the toggler element 5 days ago and you implemented it :)
All the best,
Patrick
Dear Support Team,
I am having issues with my current Enfold version. I licensed and uploaded it a new today. Unfortunately, the AVIA page builder is not loading, and whenever I try to save something in the Enfold settings (f.e. the private token), I keep getting the message “Saving didn’t work! Please reload the page and try again.” I have already had the memory limit checked by my host, and it is set to 2GB. What else could be causing this issue?
Thank you!
Hi Mike,
many thanks for your response, a couple of points:
1/
If it were the user’s own browser making these requests then the IP address of each request would not be that of the server. Instead it would be the user’s own IP address. However, the additional HEAD requests we get are coming from the server’s own IP address.
2/
Code in enfold/framework/php/function-set-avia-frontend.php loops through an array of types where the types default is:
function avia_html5_video_embed( $video, $image = '', $types = array( 'webm' => 'type="video/webm"', 'mp4' => 'type="video/mp4"', 'ogv' => 'type="video/ogg"' ),
If the filter mentioned in the post I linked to was implemented I think we could solve this.
Best regards,
akriga
But with your Enfold theme, can I get the same effect as my home page opening screen, but using a Full Screen Slider that has modifications? I just want the same look as now, but have the option to fade out different images and text.
Thanks
Hey Eamonn Sheil,
Thank you for the inquiry.
The automatic update will no longer work in the installed version, so you’ll need to update the theme manually via S/FTP. Please make sure to create a site backup before proceeding, or clone the site to a different environment, update the theme there first, and fix any issues before migrating it to the live site. For more info about updating, please check the documentation below:
// https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/#update-via-ftp
// https://kriesi.at/archives/the-complete-guide-to-updating-enfold

Hi Guys
Our site reported a critical error on Friday which we believe was caused by an Enfold update… I have pasted some of the responses from WordPress support below…
The Enfold theme caused the error, issuing PHP critical errors.
Our site appears to have been built with Enfold and the support guys at WordPress (Happiness Engineer) provided the following response
Let me see if I can add some context.
The third-party theme (not developed by us) you were previously using, “Enfold,” was version 4.5.1. However, the latest version is 5.7.1, which means updating to this latest version has a good chance of resolving any errors you will have once you activate the theme again. As our platform upgrades to newer versions of WordPress and PHP, any themes not regularly updated may face bugs or, in this case, a critical error.
You’ll need to contact your theme’s developer and see about getting the latest version of the theme so that you can install it on your site. You can reach the theme developers here:
I am not an IT person but have managed to familiarise myself with WordPress and our site’s back office, so would like to stay with the Enfold theme if possible.
What support advice can you offer to assist us going forward? If we update/upgrade to the Enfold 5.7.1 can we be assured that it will resolve all issues going forward? What direct support do you offer?
In the meantime, the support engineer has activated another theme “independent-publisher-2” so the site could be accessible ….. I look forward to hearing from you
Kind regards
Eamonn Sheil
and by the way – do not upload the font-weights one by one – just create a font-family and zip that to upload – like here on my downloads: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/add-google-font-to-enfold-and-still-being-dsgvo-compatibel/#post-1460690
see here in action on all headings.
https://webers-testseite.de/
Hi,
Glad we were able to help, if you have any further questions please create a new thread and we will gladly try to help you. Thank you for using Enfold.
Best regards,
Mike
Half-Time in Cologne ;)
we could talk about using the HankenGrotesk Variable font – to have a good fallback solution it might be good to have those static font in the background.
Enfold even supports those varible fonts
see here on firefox developer tools how they can be used:
https://player.vimeo.com/video/748702665
here are both zip files for download:
HankenGrotesk and HankenGrotesk-Variable
The trick will be to have for modern browsers the variable font and for those not supporting variable fonts the static one.
The crux is to activate on general settings the static font – and then have this in your child-theme quick css to force for all browser the variable font:
@supports (font-variation-settings: normal) {
:root {
--enfold-font-family-heading:'hankengrotesk-variable',Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;
--enfold-font-family-body: 'hankengrotesk-variable',Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;
}
body.roboto {
font-family:'hankengrotesk-variable' !important;
}
h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6,
#top .title_container .main-title,
tr.pricing-row td,
#top .portfolio-title,
.callout .content-area,
.avia-big-box .avia-innerbox,
.av-special-font,
.av-current-sort-title,
.html_elegant-blog #top .minor-meta,
#av-burger-menu-ul li {
font-family: 'hankengrotesk-variable' !important;
}
}
Bold would be ok.
Maybe i got something wrong. I took all the fonts from ZenKakuGothicNew.zip , took the woff and woff2 files, and zipped them. Then i uploaded the zip-file to enfold.
Was this correct or do i need to upload the files one by one?
Hi,
Please remove the last css rule:

Best regards,
Mike
Hi,
#1: has an extra divs around the text that none of the other do, I assume this is an error, check your code in the text block in the “text” tab in instead of “visual”

all of the other ones are two H2 tags like this:

#2: this is a div column like all of the others, only it has no text block in it, I assume you will be adding one?
If not use this css instead to exclude it:
#top.page-id-502 #av_section_1 .flex_column.av_one_half:not(.avia-builder-el-9) {
border: 1px solid #cccccc;
}
Best regards,
Mike
