Hi Enfold,
I added a search bar to my site ‘s header using “Append search icon to main menu
If enabled a search Icon will be appended to the main menu that allows the users to perform an ‘AJAX’ Search”It works well but the drop down upon clicking the magnifier says “Search”. How can i change it to another text? Thanks

Hello. i´ve got a fresh new installation of WP on my server with my purchased Version of ENFOLD THEME. Database is new and clean, there are no Plugins installed, only ASKIMET and Hello Dolly.. The Problem: When i post a link on my Facebook Page like http://www.druckundschnitt.at, i´ve got under the Picture the following text: “Want create site? Find Free WordPress Themes and plugins.Did you find apk for android? You can find new Free Android Games and apps.” I tried a several Onlincecheckers – FIND NOTHING. and i have searched in my functions.php for the “sorry funtion” but i cant find it in it. To change the sidebar configuration, if you used the “default sidebar” option in the posts, you can change them all in Enfold Theme Options > Sidebar Settings > Sidebar on Single Post Entries. Otherwise you’ll need to edit each page.
To change text at the bottom of the entries you could try a plugin such as Better Search Replace I have used this in the past with good results, be sure the test with the “dry run” option first.Best regards,

now working with the fifth installation of enfold, I’ trying to get a more individual look of the logo- and menu-header, but now, after hours of trying and searching in this forum, I am at my wit’s end.
As shown in the pictures below, I try two things:
A. Moving up the logo to the top and edge of the browser window, and at one go, also over the secondary menu (which is above the main menu).
B. Flattening the (here: transparent) complete header and navigation bar.My Quick CSS is:

Yes, there are no “posts” per se in the site, just portfolio sections and pages. I have tried to disable all blog and comment type functions as this site is not intended to be anything like that.
I am a bit scared to delete those entries as they seemed to refer to images and I am afraid to mess up the rest of the site. I changed all the status entries to “closed”. The hackers seemed to have put two entries in the database which linked to a viagra site and some sunglasses sites and they used that post method to appear in google search and then (in google) if you clicked you got to that site rather than ours.
If I google search now they are no longer appearing so hopefully that is sorted, I was just hoping there was a global way to disallow those sort of links. There are not many links on the site so it is relatively easy to control that, unlike a blog with lots of posts and comments! The only issue was that google seemed to have stored a bunch of those “domain/post_name” links, obviously the hacker modus operandi. At least now they seem to get to that “blog” page (as per hidden links above).
I hoped that that “blog” page that comes up now with the image thumbnail could be somehow replaced by something else or a redirect. I am not sure what that page is or how created but it seems to be a wordpress thing. I was hoping it was an enfold thing that you might recognise.
Is there a recommended security plug-in (eg wordfence?) that is good with enfold?

It appears that since the last update of enfold, /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php links to a soft 404 error…
It links to a page which only one “0” appears in its content…

this is what their support team said:‘The reason you cannot find the option is that the author of the Enfold theme has intentionally hidden these and other options. I’m a web developer in Brasil and I’m looking forward to start my own business by selling my services (make websites).
After spending a lot of time searching for the right theme choice, I’ve been stuck between ENFOLD or AVADA.
The main question is: After buying your theme (Enfold), I will have all theme updates forever?
I ask this because AVADA has a one year license. After this first year I will have to buy another time the same theme (pay for one more year of license).
The second question is: Is enfold 100% compatible with the Beaver Builder Plugin? If i install this plugin on your theme I will be able to use it without any issues?

Topic: Date from blog posts
I’ve searched the threads and tried all the CSS from all of them but for some reason it’s still not working. I’m trying to remove the publish date from the blog posts so it’s not visible. I have the boxes unchecked in Enfold>Blog Posts to not show date. I’ve provided the link to the page below. Thanks for your help!

I’m working on a concert listings page for my company’s new website, which has a sidebar menu. In the template that I’m working on, the sidebar menu appears fine, but it isn’t scrolling with the page as it should, and the footer and socket are appearing full-width, behind the sidebar, instead of appearing adjacent to it taking the sidebar into account.
The page should look like and behave like this: http://www.rsnosandbox.org.uk/sample-listings/
But instead it looks and behaves like this: http://www.rsnosandbox.org.uk/live/**The site is currently in maintenance mode as it is still in development – I have put a WordPress log in and ftp details in the private content section for moderators**
The child theme is called: rsno-enfold-child
The template being used is: template-concertsearch.php
The page is: concertsearch-page.phpI am calling a sidebar in the template that I’m using, or am I missing something because it’s a menu sidebar and not a “normal” sidebar?

I tried adding this to my enfold-child/functions.php

I’m guessing it wasn’t or ‘unsafe-inline’ was added to the CSP.
Not allowing ‘unsafe-inline’ in Content-Security-Policy (CSP) is recommended, however it breaks Enfold (and others) since a lot of functionality is added as inline script (not external files).For others searching your options are pretty much limited to adding ‘unsafe-inline’ or adding hundreds of allowed hashes (which will be a pain to keep updated).

yes I actually got a customer complaining, saying that he can’t pay with credit card and that on the checkout page it always says “Please enter your card details to make a payment. Developers: Please make sure that you are including jQuery and there are no JavaScript errors on the page.”
I searched a little bit and found this link https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/stripe/
so I think the error on the checkout page is related to the JS error. I know that the checkout page is managed by WooCommerce but nevertheless it runs on the Enfold theme. Could you maybe help me on how to get rid of the error? Or maybe just have an idea what to do? I am not a developer so I’m thankful for every bit of help!Kind regards,

You do know it is not possible to register without a purchase code, so I am not sure how to do that to ask pre purchase questions. You make it quite difficult to interact to actually ask questions to buy your product; I’ve been trying for almost two weeks. It would have been nice had you just replied instead of replying that I should register and then re ask the same questions for the 4th time when you could have just searched for them and answered. Your own REPLY below says the line between the delimiters so naturally one is expecting an Answer. Since you found the last email where I said please answer, this is the 3rd attempt, why not just answer the actual question at the same time too rather than just saying submit it again?? Not very courteous.
Moreover,why you do you have a pre sales question form if rather have people to register?? Why not say that? But then of course, no one can register anyway. All very confusing and has wasted a lot of time already.

Message: Hi I have some questions re Enfold pre purchasing: a) if i have a sticky menu that is a mega menu and sidebar menu too and both the sidebar and the main menu items have links to anchors will they scroll to the right place? in other themes, the main menu scrolls to the anchor and it displays properly but the sidebar menu scrolls to the anchor incorrectly as it ends up under the sticky menu. you also allow a second sticky menu under the sub header, can that be used to scroll to anchors properly if the main menu and secondary is sticky? in my site, i want to do this due to diving into related content. i) on the main mega menu, there would be a title \’Products\’. Which I click on that it goes to the first of the product pages, Prod 1. That page has your second sticky menu with the list of the products. Prod 1 is highlighted as I am there. In that page, there are sections with anchors. There is a sidebar menu that lists all the sections. Clicking on the section scrolls the page to there. And the section is highlighted if possible. If the scrollbar menu can scroll with the page that would be good. That section in am in should then remain highlighted. Can I do this or if not all of it, what can I in the standard 2017 Enfold. ii) Can I use Anchors on the mega menu to directly jump to the section in a Products page as explained above? iii) Can I use Buttons to jump to such an anchor on the same page or from some other page? b) for a blog post, can I have related items AND recommended items that are specific posts I want to show links for at the bottom of the post? Can I show these in the exactly same style of image+text as https://www.helpscout.net/blog/? d) do most theme customizations need php and a child theme or i can just add CSS (is there a place in the theme settings or options to add custom CSS) to do most of those. I don\’t want to do any php coding at all if possible.. e) Re deep linking, you say that is used on accordion/toggle. Can it be used with Tabs and Tabs section too so the right tab is reached just as the right toggle is opened with deeplinking URL? f) Do you have a drop down \’action bar\’ or such sliding element above the header. As I said to Rikard yesterday, I’ve tried all the usual solutions, including using a default theme and disabling the plugins. The problem still exists. This would suggest that it’s either a) a problem with WordPress or b) a problem with the support plugin.
However, the problem only appeared after the last Enfold update which makes me think that it may be caused by Enfold. When I searched the forum, there were others that had the same problem with pluggable.php but there was no solution given.
It’s not a huge issue – although it doesn’t look great to our customers when it happens – but I just thought I’d see if you knew what was happening.

Enfold is mobile friendly by default. If you are not happy with those design choices or results, you would need to research media queries and css to change them specific to mobile devices.
