Topic: Import Button not available
I have downloaded the enfold theme and installed via FTP. After activating the theme, I couldn’t find the import button (for dummy content as described in the tutorial). Hopefully you can help me with this issue.

Hi all,
I’ve been looking into this, but am not sure where to look really.
Especially as Enfold does some things of it’s own regarding Woocommerce. Like the cart update buttons.
And I cannot simply hide the weight text with css, as the whole price panel goes away if I do.The problem is that the total weight in the cart is calculated ‘kind of ‘correctly, so the problem is:
a. The weight is set to kg in the text, so grams become kg.
b. Or the math behind the calculation is flawed
c. The code is not placing a decimal value where it should.e.g. I order 10 pc. of item A, weighing 500gr. This should show up as 5kg, or 5000gr.
In the cart atm it is stated as 5000kg.You can understand that this is annoying, and confusing to customers.
Luckily delivery of the order is always at a fixed price, so weight isn’t added to the delivery costs.If anyone can tell me where to look, or add some Woocommerce code to fix this…

Topic: Hyperlink color in bio box
Hi Enfold Team,
I’m having trouble setting my hyperlink color to be #1db597 in my bio box on blog posts. It only changes tot he correct color when I hover over it even though I’ve set it to always be that color. Wie viele Lizenzen brauche ich für mich, ich habe eine Seite in der ich meine künstlerische Auseinandersetzung über das Thema Culture dokumentiere, eine Seite wo ich Selbstgemachtes verkaufe, eine Design und Fotografieseite und eine Seite wo ich Hochzeiten fotografiere. Würde gerne alle Seite mit dem Theme Enfold überarbeiten.

Für einen Kunden erarbeite ich mir gerade mit eurem Theme Enfold eine Webseite, für den habe ich eigentlich die Lizenz gekauft.
Frage 2
Bei der Erstellung der Seite für meinen Kunden habe ich die Demo Version Consulting Demo hochgeladen, komme damit super zurecht, erklärt sich alles irgendwie immer von selbst, bin begeistert, nur bei der Funktion Google Map erstellen scheitere ich.
Ich gebe die Adresse ein, aber wenn ich auf den Button „ Adresse eingeben, dann Koordinaten abrufen“ klicke passiert nichts, habe dann selbstständig die Koordinaten bei Google Map rausgesucht und in dem Feld darunter eingegeben, klicke ich nun auf Speichern bekomme ich dann nach dem aktualisieren in der Vorschau die Info zu lesen

Würde gerne die Telefonnummern im Footer-column 2 für Smartphones klickbar machen, wie geht das bei Enfold. Was macht jetzt Sinn, soll ich mir da das Plugin Telephone Number Linker hochladen oder im HTML eine Code eingeben, wie komme ich denn in den rein wenn ich im Erweiterten Layout-Editor bin, da fehlt mir irgendwie der Text-Button.

Here are some screenshots showing the issue:
This one (from http://www.understandchristianity.com/bible-notes/genesis/genesis-2/) shows where it is working. Notice the superscript “2” showing up and the plugin-auto-generated “References” section: http://imgur.com/UeEQRJc . The social share section on this page was enfold-auto-generated via the blog post template.
This one (from http://www.understandchristianity.com/bible/joshua/) shows the plugin shortcode “[note]……[/note]” where the plugin-generated superscript number and hover-over reference should be: http://imgur.com/p4QxvzF . This only happens on pages that include a social share section that I have added via the Advanced Layout Editor.
This (also from http://www.understandchristianity.com/bible/joshua/) shows that there is no “References” section: http://imgur.com/PvNZVa5 . It should be auto-generated by the plugin at the bottom of the content, but something with the social share section is interfering. When I remove the social share buttons in the Advanced Layout Editor, the footnotes work perfectly.
The issue is with the social share buttons element. When it is generated via the blog post template php file, everything with the footnotes is OK. When the social share buttons element is added via an Advanced Layout Editor element, it interferes with the plugin.

Last month I went to the wp-admin of my site robertbortreefurniture.com and tried to update the theme using the basic update theme button, (I do have a child theme in place) and the website went white and gave me a couple of errors. Thinking I had done something terrible, and being a basic user of WordPress, I contacted a local company who know all things WP and they got the site up and running again (I gave them the most recent version of Enfold and I believe they used FTP to upload the theme.)
This month I went to update the theme, but first did a backup of all the files. Then when I tried updating the theme, again, white page with this errors:

The website is still down. I will now try to read WP documentation on how to install a theme using FPT, but I don’t understand what is becoming an update issue. Do you have any advice for me? Perhaps using the update button is never going to work, and I should update themes a different way? RikardI have the Enfold theme (fully up-to-date), WooCommerce (fully up-to-date) and Event Tickets Plus (fully up-to-date) and I am unable to view the ticket information (the plus/minus buttons, quantity field, and Add to Cart button) on any page when the Enfold theme is active. If I activate a different theme, the ticket information shows up properly, so I’m assuming this is a theme conflict. Do you have any idea how I can fix this? When you add a product to the cart and you would like to increase or decrease the amount of products by clicking on the + or – the “update shopping cart” button is not working.

Hi, the fetch coordinates button doesn’t seem to work when creating a google map and I’m wondering if anyone knows how to manually enter the required latitude and longitude? Chrome inspector says [AVIA-MAP-ERROR] Latitude or Longitude missing.
I know there’s an issue going around re: Google Maps JavaScript API and have tried all the recommendations without success (api key in functions.php etc, refresh, latest plugins and core).
Any help is appreciated!
ps. I should mention that no Enfold plugs are showing on the plugins page even though they are installed (ie. i can see LayerSlider in the left wp menu). Not sure if this problem is related, I can start another thread if it’s not.

In reply to: WPML settings problems with permalinks
Ok I solved more or less all the issues axcept one. First I work with the woocommerce multilingual settings as stated above. This give me the possibility of opening the product in each language from teh standard avia layout builder of Enfold. In this way I can check all settings (example I found that in the automatic copy the Name Your Price Option was not set and that’s why it didn’t appear in the front end).
I downloaded a wpml-config.xml file that I copied in my child theme and the menu now has the same color taken from my custom css style sheet.
However the custom shortcodes don’t work. They appear in the avia layout builder in the administrative panel (while editing the product), but nothing appears in the front-end. It is like the php function I wrote is not working in the front end translated page.
The code is the following… maybe I should add something the php file.
It takes takes the formatted name from each variation of the product (which are cruise dates) and it extrapolates the variation name and its stock availability (= places available in each cruise date).

I am using Enfold Version: 3.6.1.
I have a page that I want to emulate many times on a site – thus the Templates feature of Enfold would be a real time saver.
However, the following occurs when attempting to use this feature:- edit page that I want to emulate
- click on Templates button in upper right corner of the main builder window
- click the blue “Save Entry as Template” button
- write “inney” in the text field of the pop-up Choose Template Name window & click the blue “Save” button
- I see the saved template in the drop-down (link to screenshot)
- Update page or go to a new page to edit
- The “inney” template is no longer present – “No Templates saved yet” message is seen
Can you help fix this?

Yes the Rosewood site is working, however a Kriesi member had to upload “Enfold-Test”. The folder I uploaded did not work properly. And now I am having the same issue with another website I work on simoneperformance.com
I believe the images folder is the issue in question, because when I activate the theme, I am missing all the images like the “Enfold” logo on the theme button, and then all the advanced menu building icons. I have made you an admin user for simoneperformance

if we disable the lightbox modal window in the Enfold > Theme options then we get no lightbox at all when we click on the gallery.
It is exactly how the light box is intended to work.
I checked the gallery in Chrome, FF and IE but I do not see multiple lightbox (please see attached screenshot). It works fine as it is intended to. You may not see the changes until the cached files are cleared in your browser. Please try to hard refresh by pressing Ctrl + Shift + F5 on your browser or press the F12 key to open chrome dev tools and right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload” and review the site again.

for the last few days I have a problem with Instagram plugin (one placed in the footer). It shows message “Unable to communicate with Instagram.” instead of pictures while the button is still correctly linked to my profile.
I’ve treid to link it to another acount but still no success. To be honest, at this time nothing was changed on website, only regular WordPress and Enfold updates. Due to this I think that it may be caused by one of the latest updates of one of these two (or both). Have you met this problem? Do you have any idea what may be the cause and how to solve it?

Are you using any plugin? What is the contact form shortcode? If you’re using the theme’s contact form shortcode, make sure that the link and on_send parameters are set correctly. Example:

Vinaymy client asked me to replace the full screen slider navigation in the homepage (previous and next buttons to be exact) with new ones that should be in the center of the slider all the time (and not just on roll over)
using enfolds-fontello icons and some css i succeeded to do so (there is a link in the private content so you can see the results) and so far everything is fine
..it’s much less pretty .. i know …but as long as the client happy, I’m happy too ..well ..sort of
any way..
only problem now is: the new right button (#next) has very cool ‘sonar’ animation on roll over
but the new left (#prev) button doesn’t
e.g – they both work like they should but only right button has that rollover effect – why?
how can i fix it so they both have that cool effect?
..or.. if it’s not possible to fix than how do i disable the rollover effect in the right button so it wont stand out?thanks in advance

In my (local) WordPress dashboard – Appearence – Themes I have the Enfold theme, but it requires activation / it has the Activate button. Do I have to activate it in order to customize it? And, more importantly, after customizing, can I then upload it to a public domain and re-activate it there? I purchased Enfold in the past for another domain and I was under the impression that once activated, you cannot use it again elsewhere.

I checked with the responsive view in safari: alt cmd + r and firefox alt + cmd + m
it was viewed nice.So now i opened the webpage on mobile firefox and chrome on android and see it is not in line.
Then i switched to chrome desktop view (also a responsive view) and got all icons in line.
In firefox i did not get them in line.So i altered CSS to get it nice on mobile browser (not the mobile desktop view inside the desktop browser).

On mobile (horizontal) 500px is nice. On desktop it needs 600px to have the logo inline and not overlapping.
I use the stretched layout!PS: Is it possible to get the logo in the middle and alter the size?
When the icons are below the logo it should be possible.PPS: maybe possible have a default solution for all users directly in the enfold settings.

Modify the config-templatebuilder > avia-shortcodes > slideshow_featured_image.php file. Look for this code around line 561:

#1 Apparently, I need to load a different theme prior to uploading large images?
#2 I can not seem to change the font style or size of my header menus. I want to increase the size of my header menu (i.e. HOME, ABOUT, CONTACT etc) via Enfold/General Styling/Logo Area font color. All I can do is change the color of the font. How do I change the font style and size?
#3 The “Update Cart” button on checkout page is not working.Confirmed with Woocomerce. I added the W3 Total Cache plugin and followed the installation steps on: https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/installation/. What a nightmare this is for me. It all looks Greek.I can’t comprehend most of what is written there. Is there a simple way to fix this problem? I’m not a programmer and most of the instructions are confusing to me. I tried all the combination I can and it still won’t “Update Cart”. The quantity changes, but nothing else updates.
