I remember in the default demo, there is a link available to choose
But in the shop demo… don’t know how to make it effective

Hi Kriesi,

I’ve been trying to get some of the formats to work for post and I’m not able to. Please help me with the following items:

1. The Read More button doesn’t work. Unable to click on the button or post title to get to the post. I create a page and added a blog post element, the post title with button show up but they are not clickable. If I have a featured image then the image is clickable.
2. The actual post itself doesn’t display the comment section and I checked the checkbox for comments. This is to allow visitors to add comments.
3. How to remove the line above and below the Date stamp and Comments number section?
4. The Recent Post, how to remove the line in between?
5. Archives widget show the date archives but when you click the date it takes you to the homepage. I’m expect it to take the user to a list of post with that selected date.

Comment for you if I may. In the Post page, by each post, the Trash link is right next to the Edit link. It’s kind of dangerous. It would be great to have it on the right or in the end far away instead to avoid clicking on it by accident. I have done it a couple times. Just a thought, not try to complaint about your work or anything. I like Enfold alot. :)

Hi Enfold folks! A customer just alerted us that they wasted a ton of time trying to update quantities on items in their cart before deciding to forget it and cancel the sale. Ouch! I discovered I could not change the quantities either–the +/- buttons work but the update cart button does nothing.

I did a search on the forums here and found several references to the same issue back in July/Aug after WC 2.6 came out. At the time, Kriesi promised to solve the issue in an upcoming update, which I assume has happened.

I discovered we were running a old version of Enfold and updated immediately to 3.8. However, the problem remains even if I do a Ctrl + R on the cart to make sure it’s loading the updated file. We do not have a caching program/plugin running on this website.

I also tried the fix provided by mensmaximus in replacing the woocommerce-mod file, but it did not have any effect so I have reverted to the original.

Would you be able to help us with this? This is obviously a critical time of the year for online sales.

I’m having some problems with the Enfold theme and I was hoping you could help me.
1. The Enfold theme is not getting along well with the Envira plugin. Even though I disabled the lightbox it still messes up my layout when I hover over images. Have you had experience with this issue before and what can I do to correct it. I already contacted the Envira support but they say that you guys should be able to help me since it’s the theme that’s causing the issue.
2. The second issue only came up recently. For some reason, the menu button in the mobile version has disappeared so now I have no way of navigating through the site. This is a serious issue and it’s happened just before my deadline so I need to fix this ASAP.

Topic: Enfold-Layerslider Stopped working

About a month ago my client started reporting an issue with Layerslider (which came with Enfold). When she makes ANY changes to a slider and clicks the large blue “Save Changes” button, a javascript alert box appears which states:

“It seems there is a server issue that prevented LayerSlider from saving your work. Please, try to temporary disable themes/plugins, or contact with your hosting provider. Your HTTP server thrown the following error:
Not Found”

Since mod_security is often an issue, I have asked the hosting company to disable it, but this did not change anything. I don’t see any php or scripting errors in the log files, and the above error is the ONLY error I can find.

I’ve disabled plugins and reinstalled the theme. I’ve done a reinstall of WP, but again nothing changes.

Any idea what may be causing this or if there is a simple solution to fix it? They are getting quite upset with me.

2: In the single product page, when I used the Advanced Layout builder, I found that the price is not visible when open the single product page .

Please note that the Advanced Layout Builder for products will not work with all WooCommerce Extensions

so any way to make the price shows same as the shop page??

Hi!

Unfortunately my customer changed her mind. She doesn’t want anymore the language flag in the menu (mobile version) but on the menu button left side.

So I had this

So now my problem is that I have 2 widgets in the left sidebar (text with phone number and Facebook) and this CSS makes move those widgets. I don’t manage to apply this CSS code only on the header widget (flag button).

To recap : I just want the flag button on the menu button left side. And I want it visible only on smartphones.

I’m sorry but I’m not sure what you’re trying to do here. What is the “$params[‘args’][‘city’]” for? I’m not sure if that’s going to work because the “city” parameter or variable does no exist by default. Are you trying to create a new input field for the “city” address? Edit the shortcode file, look for this code around line 74:

I am currently building a website based on your Travel Demo, but am having issues with the Headline, Subheadline and the two buttons that are overlaying the Slide-Show (Full-Width) at the top of the front page. It looks fine on Desktop landscape, but the rearrangement doesn’t work properly when it is viewed on portrait. Is it possible to fix this somehow?

Hey Luisgasser,

I’m not sure what you meant by which classes, maybe you are referring to the css selector, if that’s it try adding this code in Quick CSS (located in Enfold > General Styling):

.av-menu-button-colored span.avia-menu-text {
    background: blue!important;
    color: white !important;
}

Just adjust the background and color values. Hope this helps :)

Hey bournemouthgas,

You can change it when you go to LayerSlider WP > All Sliders > click Enfold – Most Beautiful Theme Ever, you should see Click to Set button (below Slide Options), just set the image and it should change the background image. Hope this helps :)

You’re welcome, I’m not really sure about that since facebook description is this:
The verb to display on the button. Can be either like or recommend
For more information refer to this https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-button but maybe it’s worth a try :)

Hello,

I’ve made a 2nd enfold installation (made a copy under same domain), and wordpress working fine.
But when i create a new page, i click to “preview page” and opens a page with the message “Sorry, you are not allowed to preview drafts.”?
Also, when i use menu button to the new page, opens a page showing the “Nothing Found” page.
Does this happens because of license?
I’ll appreciate some help, thank you

Hi,

I got a link from support (https://kriesi.at/support/forum/enfold/#new-post) to be able to start a new thread.

Shouldn’t I be able to start a new thread by clicking on a ‘start new thread’ button somewhere? Instead of having to remember this link? I’m pretty sure that’s how it worked before. Can’t find a button anywhere. Am I overlooking something?
