    Hi Support Team,

    I would like to make my Gravity Forms button transparent white and overall resemble the Enfold buttons I’m using on the site. I contacted Gravity to ask them how to code that but they have asked me to check with you.

    Would you be kind enough to let me have some CSS to change the button, please? There are examples of how I’m using the Enfold buttons on the homepage.

    Thank you very much.

    Thanks Nikko and Jordan.

    Would you be kind enough to tell me what the CSS name is for the “load more” button on a masonry gallery? I want to change its colour too.

    To try and save asking I looked in the page source and found this “av-masonry-pagination av-masonry-load-more”, but this doesn’t work. Is this not the name I’m looking for then? Is there anywhere I can go to find the name of all the various elements within Enfold should I want to change anything else?

    Cheers.

    But nevertheless you can do that and look if there are on the frontend any changes if not you can leave the child activated – if so you can reactivate your partent theme.

    so what to do-

    • download the child-theme from documentation page here
    • unzip and upload the folder “enfold-child” to your themes folder (adjacent to enfold folder)
    • goto Dashboard – Enfold (this is only for paranoid reasons) – Import/Export and 2nd Button “Export Theme Settings File”
    • goto Dashboard – Appearance and activate the Child-Theme.
    • Goto Dashboard – Enfold-Child – Import/Export and press the button on top “Import Parent Theme Settings” – ( if there is a message that there are no Parent Settings – upload the parent theme settings file via 3rd Button on Import/Export – “Import Theme Settings File” and choose the file you downloaded on step 3
    • have a look if there are changings on your frontend

    click to enlarge the image

    #787457

    the Point of your thread will be : “I don’t know which files I have modified”
    All Settings and Changings on Enfold Options Dialog you can import via that Button “Import Parent Theme Settings” on Theme Options / Import/Export.

    But if you have edited functions.php or any other file of your parent-theme – these changings will be not transfered!
    So if you want to use a child-theme you have to know that!

    btw. that is the reason why a use of a child-theme is best. Because you can update the parent theme without loosing those changings on child-theme.
    All Changings will be made on Child-Theme Files

    Hi there,
    Since updating to Enfold 4.0.5, when customers login to their account on our website and try to pay for a ‘failed’ subscription renewal order, the ‘pay’ button leads to a 502 error. We have deactivated all plugins one at a time, and also contacted our host, WPEngine, who says it is a ‘segmentation fault’ most likely caused by the theme (if we have ruled out other plugins, as we have). Note they ‘pay’ button works fine for other pending orders, just not failed subscription renewals.
    We also have a secondary problem (that I mention because it may be related) where failed subscription renewals trigger a ‘New subscription renewal’ email to admin, where no email should be sent for failed renewals. Seems like too much of a coincidence that both are related to subscription renewals.
    Are these known problems with the latest Enfold update?
    Kind regards,
    David

    I have disabled all plugins. Using Enfold 3.8. I’m getting the spinning gif on page edits and none of the pages buttons function.
    Upon disabling the Enfold theme and using WP 2017, the editing is working.
    What is causing this problem?

    Hi Leonsz,

    Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css,  if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css

    @media only screen and (max-width: 479px) {

    .responsive #top .slideshow_caption h2 {
      font-size: 16px !important;
      }
    .html_header_transparency #top .avia-builder-el-0 .slideshow_caption {
         padding-top: 20px;
    }
    #top .avia-slideshow-button {
        margin-top: 10px;
        width: 44%;
    }
    .avia-slideshow-inner,
    .avia-slideshow-inner li,
    .caption_fullwidth.av-slideshow-caption.caption_center.caption_center_framed.caption_framed,
    .avia-slideshow-inner li .avia-slide-wrap,
    .avia-slideshow-inner li .avia-slide-wrap img  {
        min-height: 250px; !important;
    }
    .responsive #top #wrap_all .container {
        width: 90%;
        max-width: 90%;
        }
     }

    If you need further assistance please let us know.

    Best regards,

    Hi Victoria,

    great Job! Even the logo is not covered by the cart any more on a mobile phone.

    Concerning the Paypal button: I’m using Paypal checkout now (not Paypal express) and I’m using an other plugin which is called “PayPal for WooCommerce”. This plugin works good with Enfold.

    Have a good time!

    Hi there
    I just installed woocommerce and the enfold theme, now we are missing the checkout button on variable products. On all other product it is fine, and it worked also fine before i installed the new theme.
    Could you please check on my site?
    Thanks a lot for checking the issue

    Hi,

    I couldn’t see Lateral Opportunities but I believe you have renamed it to Job Opportunities, I have added this css code in Quick CSS (located in Enfold > General Styling):

    #avia-menu #menu-item-3871 span.avia-menu-text {
        background-color: blue !important;
    }

    Which changed the button color to blue on the last menu item, let us know if it’s good :)

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Thank you for the great tip! Actually, this plugin has a way of saving Enfold incoming messages too!
    Could you please tell me, is there a way to make Contact Form 7 submit button to look exactly the same as Enfold submit button? I’m looking for white text on button, slightly larger and positioned in center

    Hi,

    ich benutze Enfold und habe 2 Probleme:

    1. In der Mobilansicht werden die Kategorien unter dem Warenkorb-Button von “Auswahl zurücksetzen” überschrieben. Sieht nicht gut aus.
    Screenshot 1

    2. In der Lightbox (Woocommerce) wird das falsche Bild ausgewählt, wenn man draufklickt.

    Dear Team,

    I’m using the Enfold theme with WooCommerce.

    Inside a page I’m using the shortcode “[add_to_cart id=”3328″]”. This shortcode produces an output that tells the reader of the page that he can add a specific article to his cart. Unfortunately the output of this shortcode is not very nice if there is not enough space for it in one line. The distance between line one and line two is so small that the button in line two “sticks” to line one.

    My website (magicmamaweb.com) is under construction, so I uploaded a screenshot:

    http://www.directupload.net/file/d/4707/bt9hlz5e_jpg.htm

    Please have a look.

    Is it possible to format the output of the shortcode suchlike there is more space between the two lines? How? Where?

    Any help would be very welcome.

    All the best
    Jorg

    Hey marcomila,

    Have you tried the solutions offered in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/two-buttons-in-line-in-same-column-in-enfold/ Please see the last three messages specifically. :)

    If you need further assistance, may we also have temporary access into your website so we can look closer?

    As you suggest in another thread, I’ve tried this css rule:
    .sezione-centrata .avia-button-center {
    display: inline;
    padding: 0 5px;
    }
    But it doesn’t work.
    Take a look.
    How can I fixed?

    Hi!

    You can use this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/zen-menu-logic/ display different menus on each page.

    You can also add audio files to your posts – http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/2015/05/11/entry-with-audio/ or to your pages using Add Media button :)

    You can directly link your button to your PDF file :)

    Hi team enfold,

    I have issues changing the color of our menu-button (Digital). We’ve tried applying the different CSS suggestions in this forum. But none seems to change anything, which lead us to thinking, that maybe we had some CSS overruling other CSS code.

    But can’t seem to find the answer.

    Could any of you help?

    CSS we use together with changes in functions.php, that effects main menu:

    .main_menu .menu li ul a {
    font-size: 14px!important;
    color: #2c4143!important;
    }
    .current-post-ancestor.current-menu-parent a { color: #003366;
    font-weight: bold !important;
    }
    .nyhed #header .av-main-nav > #menu-item-7810 > a .avia-menu-text {
    color: #2c4143 !important;
    }
    .nyhed #header .av-main-nav > #menu-item-7810 > a > .avia-menu-fx {
        opacity: 1;
        visibility: visible;
    }
    .cases #header .av-main-nav > #menu-item-9314 > a .avia-menu-text {
    color: #2c4143 !important;
    }
    .cases #header .av-main-nav > #menu-item-9314 > a > .avia-menu-fx {
        opacity: 1;
        visibility: visible;
    }
    .promising-practice #header .av-main-nav > #menu-item-5520 > a .avia-menu-text {
    color: #2c4143 !important;
    }
    .promising-practice #header .av-main-nav > #menu-item-5520 > a > .avia-menu-fx {
        opacity: 1;
        visibility: visible;
    }
    .investor-relations #header .av-main-nav > #menu-item-7412 > a .avia-menu-text {
    color: #2c4143 !important;
    }
    .investor-relations #header .av-main-nav > #menu-item-7412 > a > .avia-menu-fx {
        opacity: 1;
        visibility: visible;
    }
    .current-page-ancestor .avia-menu-fx {
    opacity: 1!important;
    visibility: visible!important;
    border-color: #2c4143!important
    }
    .current-page-ancestor .avia-menu-text {
        color: #2c4143 !important;
    }

    And we have other, but they relate to either submenu og widget menu.

    Hey hostedbymarc,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    I’m not sure if the radio button field is valid in the checkout but if you want to add the gender as a select element, please add this in the functions.php file.

    function array_move($key, $new_index, $array)
    {
        if($new_index < 0) return;
        if($new_index >= count($array)) return;
        if(!array_key_exists($key, $array)) return;

        $ret = array();
        $ind = 0;
        foreach($array as $k => $v)
        {
          if($new_index == $ind)
          {
            $ret[$key] = $array[$key];
            $ind++;
          }
          if($k != $key)
          {
            $ret[$k] = $v;
            $ind++;
          }
        }
        // one last check for end indexes
        if($new_index == $ind)
            $ret[$key] = $array[$key];

        return $ret;
    }

    add_filter('woocommerce_checkout_fields', 'woocommerce_checkout_fields_mod', 10, 1);
    function woocommerce_checkout_fields_mod($fields) {
    	$fields['billing']['billing_gender'] = array(
    			'label' => 'Gender',
    			'placeholder' => 'Gender',
    			'type' => 'select',
    			'options', 'options' => array(
    				'male' => 'Male',
    				'female' => 'Female',
    			),
    			'required' => true,
    			'class' => array( 'form-row-wide', 'gender-field')
    		);

    	$fields['billing'] = array_move('billing_gender', 3, $fields['billing']);
    	return $fields;
    }

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Nikko,

    I’ve tried to comment out all of my custom code in the functions.php one by one. But sadly this didn’t fix the problem even when all of the code was commented out.

    Could you please have a look at the integration of the child theme? Since I haven’t worked with child themes a lot yet, there could be an error in the integration in the style.css.
    The theme settings should be the same since I used the “Import Parent Theme Settings” button in the enfold menu.

    The style.css consists out of this code:

    /*
     Theme Name:   enfold-child
     Description: Enfold Child Theme by econsor
     Author:       econsor
     Author URI:   http://econsor.de/
     Template:     enfold
     Version:      1.0
     Tags:
    */

    Thank you for your help :)

    Best regards,
    Marco

    Hey there,

    I just realized that after the update to WordPress 4.7.4 (and Enfold 4.0.5) all of the PDF-files I linked through avia buttons (manual link) doesn’t open any longer. It just says “PDF file couldn’t be opened. An error prevents this PDF file from opening.”
    I’ve changed nothing since the update.
    How can I fix it? I already tried to link the button again to the file.

    Best regards.

    Hey metamorfic,

    The pagination doesn’t work with ajax, so, you can use the load more button like here: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/shortcodes/masonry-gallery/

    Hey Dee007,

    That’s how it was designed. Since mobile browsers scroll to top when top of the browser is touched, Enfold’s scroll to top button is hidden on mobile to save space.

    To display it for your website, please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .responsive #scroll-top-link {
      display: block !important;
    }}

    If you want, you can request a hide/display option for mobiles here – https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/

    Best regards,
    Sarah

    Which video? There are 3 video presentations on the test page. The top one is the one that’s broken and doesn’t render presented as a background video–should auto play but instead the loading gif is all that renders.

    We understand the benefits from hosting the video with youtube or vimeo although there are limitations with how the video is presented and you have to pay them for certain features we receive for free self hosting. We have the bandwidth and server capacity to self host so we really need to fix this bug.

    We reinstalled the theme via ftp after disabling all the plugins and the self hosted video continues to not play as it should.

    Again the test page contains the self hosted background video (youtube compression and format) at the top, the self hosted video presented in enfold video element player second (which plays fine when you hit the play button and finally the youtube hosted background video which also plays with no problem. Again all the same video files just presented differently. Quite the mystery. Thanks!

    Wenn du nur einen bestimmten Slider ändern willst solltest du dem eine eigene Custom Class geben. how to Link

    willst du generell bei allen fullscreen Slidern das ändern könntest du folgendes machen im quick css:
    Es gibt da zwei Textvarianten – einmal der titel und einmal der Text darunter ( bie Buttons müssten wir nochmal genauer hinschauen)

    .avia-fullscreen-slider .avia-caption-title {
    font-family: "Open Sans";
    }

    .avia-fullscreen-slider .avia-caption-content {
    font-family: "Marck Script"
    }

    für die Button Schrift:

    .avia-fullscreen-slider .avia-slideshow-button {
        font-family: Arial;
    }

    wobei dei Schriften auch im System aktiviert sein müssen.

    TWo issues with Footer:

    1) I have added 5 social buttons/links via Widget in Footer – Column4 and one of them is using following HTML code:
    amazon icon
    Link of the last button (
    https://www.amazon.com/) is somehow linked to entire copyright text as well as Credit Card Image in Footer – Column4 below 5 social buttons/links.
    Same is happening in this post text below amazon button is a link which should not be…

    2) Also copyright is displayed on 2 lines instead of one, why?

    I found similar topic it suggested to type the code manually instead of copy paste that didn’t work.

    Could anyone take a look? Below are links to the site and login credentials.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Enfold team!

    I hope you’re well.

    I have a question regarding stretching fully certain images on my home page, almost that they act as a background, and not disturb the margin.

    The two images are -> the arrow made of people (as you can see it is not fully stretched) and the black laptop at the bottom (with very obvious white surrounding).

    Is there a way to make images as a background for that portion of the page, if that makes sense. So that I can even put text or a button over it?

    Thanks again!

    Hey MLA18,

    Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css,  if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css

    .avia_cart_buttons  {
        opacity: 1;

    If you need further assistance please let us know.

    Hi all,

    I’m posting this in the hope to help many others who would spend LOT OF TIME in search for a solution.

    I guess I’m another one who faced these product pages 404 issue after installing/updating WPML.

    I’ve seen a lot of them all over, here and in WPML forums, with several different resolutions. I tried testing a lot of them. Came to the conclusion that the solution for over half of the users is very SIMPLE.

    What’s the environment:
    I have Kriesi’s Enfold theme, WooCommerce, WPML (with Media, Multilingual CMS, String Translation, Translation Management and WooCommerce Multilingual plugins) and Yoast all last versions. I have Portuguese as the default language and English/Spanish as translations. I don’t have any other major plugin, only a few specific ones. I have 512M memory_limit and 30s max_execution_time in php.ini.

    What I’m facing:
    In my base language (Portuguese) everything seems fine, but product pages (only) are returning 404 in any translation. I’ve seen many people having similar problem in product category pages. Similar solution might work, it’s worth the test.

    What I’ve tried:
    Reapplying Permanent Links (without changing – HERE’S MY MISTAKE), rescanning WooCommerce plugin

    for strings (in WPML – Theme and Plugin Localization), re-added translation for all slugs. Still 404 for products. I tried disabling and re-activating WPML, not successful. I tried disabling Yoast, nothing. I tried so many other things that I can’t even remember.

    WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?
    On reapplying the product permanent links, if you use CUSTOM BASE, change it to DEFAULT. Translate it (there’s a translate button right below, so no big deal). Test the product page, they are going to work fine. Now get back there and change it again to CUSTOM BASE to whatever you want (make sure it isn’t your chosen word that is breaking the system) and translate it. As simple as that…

    I hope I could save few hours for someone!
