Thank you for using our theme.
In a CMS like WordPress themes are only the appearance, that means the following steps should do to switch to Enfold child theme:
1) Update all and make backup – gives you the chance for a fallback
2) Upload Enfold Child in the theme folder
3) Acticate Enfold Child Theme
4) Goto Dashboard -> Enfold Child -> Import/Export and click button “Import parent theme settings”
5) From now on make your changes in the option settings in the child theme.That’s it.
As long as you did not make any changes in the core theme files of Enfold everything should work as before.
You can switch back to the parent theme any time you want.
Changes to the options settings are limited to the theme where you made them.

On my WooCommerce+Enfold site I’m trying to build a pricing table, and I’m testing a series of WooCommerce Variable Products I’d like to sell through my site.
In order to show all the product variants on the same page (I do not like the default dropdown menu), following WooCommerce rules, for each “buy” button I was forced to use a basic URL structure as follows:https://www.mysite.com/?add-to-cart=1234&variation_id=5678&attribute_pa_format=nameHowever, using this method, after a click on the “buy” button the buyer is being redirected to the home page, while I would like very much to keep him/her on the same product page, possibly showing the top box “XYZ product has been added to your cart”, as in your single product demo page:
Using WooCommerce variable products, is there any method to update the cart without leaving the page from where the order has been made? Please see my test page linked on the private content area of this post. The basic pricing table with the standard links is the first one from the top.

on chrome (latest) and High Sierra (mac 10.13), the buttons often get transparent on mouse over.

I have a 2 column page and would like to insert some text for different photos. So its 1/2 column with text and 1/2 column with a photo.
But the text is very long on every picture so I would like to cut it off at a certain number of words or height. But there should be a button for read more and once you click it, it shows the full text. Is there anyway in achieving this in Enfold I couldn’t find a way.
It would be great if you had a solution for this.

Look on chrome (newest one) f.e your http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-hotel/i got two customers of mine which prefers this layout type. And i looks horrible. Every site-change (click on any menu button) shows this effect.
Is there a way to reduce this flickering?

I want to put on inquiry form pop-up onto a page (same below)
On the page there is a button called Artists Enquiry, when you click on this button it opens a small pop-up box with the artists name and then fields for the person to put in their details.
Does Enfold have the option or is it a plugin?
Any assistance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Found the problem and fixed it!
On my child theme settings page, the General Layout, inside the dimensions tab, uncheck the box that says “Responsive Site” (if enabled the size of your website will adapt and change to fit smaller screens, … )This seems counter-intuitive to me, you would think this box needs to be checked to make the site responsive.
Is this a bug in Enfold?
Would love to better understand this, so if you can please explain the functionality of this button I would much appreciate it.
BTW, working now fine will my earlier plugins (WP Super Cache, Jetpack, Wordfence, activated)

For the Enfold theme, do I need to purchase woocommerce bookings separately or is it included in the theme?
I need a page that lists 5 classes and a “buy” button for each class (don’t need calendar or anything fancy). Just need the ability for people to sign up and pay for the class and automatically generate an email with an access code for them.
Do I need woocomerce bookings to do this or is it something that can easily be done as part of the Enfold theme?

Hi team,
I am trying to use the Enfold Child theme files (still getting use to it). I am attempting to place a button or in this instance an image that looks like a button in the header section, floated or aligned to the right side. I could probably figure out the alignment code BUT my question is where do I insert the < img src ….. > code or button shortcode into?
In times past I’ve inserted it somewhere in the header.php file – but my fear is when the theme updates it will erase my embedded code. Is there another place I should place it instead of the header.php when using the child theme?
Any solutions or areas you guys could recommend?

I don’t know what’s happend with Enfold Theme because in the beginig of 2017 I designed a website http://nataciontriton.com and I don’t needed to use categories to build a masonry portfolio or maybe I am doing something wrong with the new version of Enfold Theme

i have an issue with a delay of 5 to 10 sec when clickin on the “order now” (“kostenpflichtig bestellen”) Button in my shop.
With clicking the button the screen fades/overlays a little intho white and … nothing happens for 5 to 10 secs.
If you wait this time the process works correctly and redirects to the “thank you for order”-message. But which customer will wait this time.
…he will click again… and then the “empty basket” error appears, but the order is placed fine.If you wait this time – the email order confirmation arrives 2-3 sec earlier than you got redirected to order success page.
So, I don’t think it’s a server performance issue, cause it’s a managed server, amd 6 cores, 16gb ram, s-ata-raid, php7 (1&1).
The speed of the rest of the page is ok – it’s just the placing-order-process with this curious delay.I hope you have any ideas :)

Thank you! I’ve taken the original Enfold header.php and put in into the childtheme, and done the customizations (tag manager and theme color for android chrome header color) from scratch again.
Thank you for the css for the buttons – it works flawlessly! I could swear i already tried that, but I’ve probably been messing up the syntax… :) Is there a way to further pin down which large buttons that should be affected? Thinking of custom classes given to the buttons i want to give different widths :)
Also, could you look into website 2 (private content) and check the whole mobile-menu-missing thing thats happening there? I’ve tried messing a bunch with css and header.php/functions.php, but it doesn’t quite cut it… Thank you so much in advance!

1-2.) The cart dropdown is displaying on other pages but adding a product to the basket doesn’t update the cart content. Did you add any modification to the cart button or to the products? What is the current version of the theme? Please upgrade to version 4.1.2.

IsmaelMy blog post shows only Blog title and a “read more” button. When the button is clicked, the full content opens, but I want the content to show without clicking “Read More”
Also, when the blog opens the Enfold ad is showing in the sidebar. I want it removed.
Both of the above problems do not show when I am in Admin mode looking at the posts, but if I log out and look at it as a regular user, it shows.
I need help.Hi, I’m having a similar issue to Ganubis. The add to cart button is shown even products are out of stock. When I change the theme to TwentySeventeen, the cart button is greyed out for products that are unavailable – which is correct – but when Enfold is activated is doesn’t get greyed out/hidden.
Ideally, I’d like to remove the add to cart and quantity selector when products are out of stock or zero priced.
Enfold team – please can you help modify this function/filter to work with Enfold:

DuncanI was able to solve my second problem!
There might be a bug in the safari view of the Enfold theme settings!
I gave Chrome a try and there the buttons are there and I was able to deactivate the social share links.
So please have a look if you can patch this for a future update…

there are still some changes I would like to set up and I am looking for some answers:1) I would like to have a similar look of my archive overview and single archive page, like my blog page and single blog page looks like.
Same for tags and categories pages! I build the blog layout in Advanced Avia Layout Builder: All News or single news on the left side, custom sidebar on the right.2) I can’t get rid of the social share link/button for twitter!
Strange thing is, it does not appear in safari, but it does in firefox and chrome!
And I do not see the buttons to deactivate them in the Enfold Theme Settings!Help would be nice!

I’m running a online shop with the Enfold theme and WooCommerce. When customers are searching for products and keywords in the search field, the results are a bunch text that look like blog posts. It’s not a very pleasant UX for customers who visually shop and want to see more images. How can the product search results show as a image in grid format with a “show more” button?I’ve checked the other threads that discusses this problem, but I do not understand what the moderators are saying.

I had the page width set at 1310px and created some pages. All good.
Then suddenly the pages became narrow – 910px
I checked the settings but couldn’t fix it so I reset all the Enfold options using the “Reset all options” button. Then I set up all the options again and the width to 1410px this time.
Everything else reset but the page width is still displaying at 910px.
What to do please?
This is the same problems as topic 850273 but the suggested solutions does not work with me ?

I love that you guys have the custom_class attribute in [av_button], however, it adds the custom-class to the DIV, not the A tag. This is important to us because we need to be able to set a custom class on the A tag to set up Google Tag Manager properly (or so I’m told). Any idea on how I can do this with Enfold? Hello, I have seen this done on Enfold demos but can’t figure out how to do it. I’d like two images side by side. On hover, you can see additional text and a button. Can you help me with how to do this? An example of same functionality can seen on belcampo.com, about halfway down the page where it says “Eat” “Shop” etc. Thank you!

I disabled Cloudflare, Varnish, cache plugin
I reuploaded wordpress and Enfold
I disabled all plugin and still the same
I returned to Enfold theme, not Enfold child, and it works correctly
So the problem is in Enfold child. Can you give me a hint to solve the problem please?

I really like the Enfold theme but lately i have been having issues. I have two issues which i need help resolving please:
1. The Drop-Down shopping basket is not loading the contents upon hover. I recall turning this off only in the homepage, but i forgot how to do this. However, it used to work across all other pages of the site, but now it is not working at all. Instead of drop down showing products, it simply shows a diamond icon and nothing else.
2. The “Add to Basket” button on the homepage and shop pages forever load when you click on the button. It shows a loading icon once you click on the button, and nothing else. When you click on the cart though, it seems that the product is already put there. This confuses customers and I also need this resolved.
I trust that you will help me resolve this in good time.

Tut mir leid, dass Basilis Dir die Unannehmlichkeit mit der Übersetzung gemacht hat, da ich nicht regelmäßig im Forum bin und um die Antwortzeit zu verkürzen (Google Translator kann bei komplexeren Themen nicht so gut übersetzen).
In der nächsten Release von Enfold sollte das Problem mit dem Purchase button und Germanized integriert sein (ich habe dafür einen Patch in unser Entwickler Repository hochgeladen).
Das Problem mit dem wechselnden Bildern für Variationen:
Mit dem nächsten Update wird die Standard Single Product Page von Enfold unterstützt mit 2 Gallerien (mit Zoomfunktion und Lightbox oder ohne Zoomfunktion und Lightbox) und frei wählbaren Spalten für die Thumbnails (2 – 4). Die Einbindung von Germanized funktioniert auch.
Da WooCommerce eine komplexe Einbindung für variable Products mit eigener HTML Struktur hat, werden wir voraussichtlich keine ALB Unterstützung dafür anbieten, auch nicht die wechselnden Preise.
Was nur mit CSS machbar ist, dafür stehen wir gerne zur Verfügung.
