Hi!
I installed a new WordPress 4.9 with Enfold 4.2. I selected the language “Deutsch” and created my first page.
After that I changed the language to “Deutsch “Sie””. Now WordPress says, there is a language update, so I update the language.
If I want to edit my page, the advanced layout editor doesn’t load.
If I want to create a new page, the button “advanced layout-editor” has no effect.
If I change the language back to “Deutsch”, everything is right.
Any ideas?P.S. Three Plugins installed, but deactivated. Child Theme installed, but at this moment not edited.

There used to be a pretty nice hover effect for icon elements (must have been there with Enfold 4.1.x), which appears to be gone after updating to 4.2
You can have a look at it here, there are 3 buttons in the middle of the page, which are now static and boring when hovering: https://www.mondiale.de/web/en/language-courses/
Is this a bug or is the hover effect supposed to be gone? If so, why is that and how can I get it back?

I just updated my site to wordpress 4.9 and now most of the buttons (e.g. the change Permalink Button in post-edit page and many more) stopped working (nothing happens on button click).
Due to this, it is even not possible to open the layout editor. It also breaks many other plugins.I’ve already done a conflict test and can state that the Enfold theme causes these problems. They occure even if no other plugin is active.

Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css, if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css

Do I understand it correctly:
You mean clicking the button “Preview Changes” on the Edit Page and not the “Live Preview” on the Themes page.
Is it still messed up after updating the page ?
Can you give us the shortcode of the page (https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/) please so we can try to reproduce the problem on our test environment? You can paste it in https://pastebin.com/ and put the link in private content.

Its been a long time since I built my site on the Enfold theme.
I created a pop-up music player using a simple HTML page, residing outside of WordPress or the theme.
But the URL used for the pop-up that shows within the theme, (that works correctly), just shows as ‘#’ and I now need to edit it.
Also I cannot see (or recall) how I set the pop-up window size :(
Sorry to be a total pain, I’ve had a stroke since doing the work and struggling with some things.
The live URL for the site is:- harmony-fm.com
And the ‘Listen Live’ image/button opens the pop-up.
Can anyone please help me out of this hole!!

I am sorry for not being clear.
My response didn’t send.
When I updated my theme and wordpress my custom buttons stopped working I assume its because the code has been removed from Functions PHP. I tried to put it back but everything looks different and I broke the site when I tried to paste it.
The hired help says they did my child theme as you mentioned above but I am stuck…
Also I noticed the new wordpress allows you to publish later… So wanted to change my theme to Enfold 2017 make the changes and publish later on can that be done? I can’t locate the option to make live later?
When you visit the site I want the buttons thats say….

Thanks for your feedback.
Yes i see the errors too. I disabled all the plugins and emptied my browser cache but without succes. No other customizations were made.
I also re-uploaded the enfold theme but still the errors appear and the slider is not working.
Hope there is a fix for this because my client is starting to complain.
p.s. on a page with only one slide in the slider this problem is not happening.

I apologise if I have not been clear and try to better explain what I mean.
WordPress uses the word post (in Italian articles) and since on the site I don’t want to write articles but more, I changed the name “articles” to another name and everything seems to work. The only thing that does not work is that open the article in question in the button “comments the article”, enfold continues to call it “article”. I then tried to change this word in the translation file but it worked for a short while and returned as before.

when i use this with enfold image gallery i get this results? this looks really ugly. how can i adapt the width of the pintereest image and how can i disable the mouse over effect (image get light up).
Is there a css way to do this or can you recommend a plugin that works with enfold gallery images?

Topic: Change default name post
Hello, following a procedure on the net, I changed the default name of the posts. Now Enfold continues to put the post name for example in the comments button. I tried to change the name from the translation file and it worked for a while then it was reset and came out again “post”. (In italian=Articoli) How do I make him understand to enfold that the word post should be replaced completely with another name? Thank you and apologise for my English.

I have used your theme in the past, older version. I am curious, I am looking at your theme for a client, and I need to know if something in the mock ups is possible on your Enfold Theme.
I need a container with a fullwidth background image. On top of that background I need 2 columns and two rows. On initial load there is four rectangles, each has text and in icon, when a user hovers over one of the icons, it transitions to text box with a read more button. If the user hovers off and on to another icon in one of the four containers, that first one transitions back to text and icon and the other one transitions to text box and read more button. Is this possible in your theme? I have an image that shows the mock-up, so let me know if I can send that to you for clarity.

I believe your teammate clicked “reset all options” button instead of “save” button, is that correct?
You can simply overwrite /wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/{sitename}.css file, refresh your page and then save in Enfold theme options and that should work :)Best regards,

When upgrading Woocommerce from 3.1 to 3.2ish the initiaI start of the problem began. The website has been fine for since initially designing it a 1 ago or so. The Place Order on checkout will not show causing the customer not to be able to checkout.Using a Layer Slider with the Advanced Slider Media Element on my Homepage specifically. The Place Order on checkout will not show causing the customer not to be able to checkout. If I place the shortcode in a “code block” it will work – although not fullwidth.
I have been through various scenarios of stripping down the site to finally find this problem on my staging site. Deactivating plugins, function file code, css etc.
I have tried creating a new slide, used enfold side, It does not matter, same problem.
I have upgraded to latest Enfold. Previous version also had same problem with Woocommerce 3.2.4.
If I rollback woocommerce to 3.1 problem is gone.It seems it is directly related to the builder’s advanced media element (Layer Slider) specifically, when using the advanced media element with the newer version of Wooommerce

Please post the code of the custom item/shortcode on pastebin.com so that we can inspect it. If it is a duplicate of a certain shortcode file, please look for the “shortcode_insert_button” function then set the tab config manually. Example.
$this->config['tab'] = __('Content Elements', 'avia_framework' );You can replace the string with the name of an existing tab or create another.

IsmaelIch bitte um dringende Hilfe. In meinem Enfold Child funktionieren die Verlinkungen zu diversen Inhaltselementen nicht. Z. B. bei der Slide-Show habe ich zwei Buttons, die ich theoretisch mit Links versehen kann. Das funktioniert allerdings nicht – der Bereich nicht aktiv und ich kann darauf nicht zugreifen. So ist es auch mit den Buttons, Icon Box etc. Das ist so sehr eingeschränkt. Was kann ich da tun? Ach und übrigens, seit dem heutigen update kann ich kann grad nicht auf meine Seiten zugreifen. we’re using Enfold theme with a child theme, having set individual site icons, done lots of settings, inserted custom css (underneath “general styling”), and so on.
One teammate today hit the “save” button on “general styling” and all data has gone: no defined frontpage, no custom css, and so on. The pages are still there, but no custom designs, etc.
Now we’ll have to restore the backup and I’d like to know what files/database tables we need to restore.

I’m using the latest version of WPML and Enfold on my website and looks like I found some bug.
If I update the page on Polish (main website language) – then the Button Label text will be copied to English every time.
So if I translate Button Label on English, after any update on the Polish version – English version will copy Button Label on Polish.
Also, in Translate Editor there is no field to translate that field.
Button Link also is replaced from Page to Custom.Is that a bug or ‘Feature’? Bcs i can’t use correctly WPML with Enfold. Should I write to them or it is from your side?

I’m trying to achieve a one-line contact form with an icon as send button.

I think it looks really slick but i’m having a hard time recreating this in enfold.I have three LayerSliders I need to export from one site and import into 8 others sites. When I select the option to Export, it creates a file on my local machine with a name like: LayerSlider_Export_2017-11-13_at_16.00.18.zip
When I go to any of my other sites (all use Enfold), I click on “Import Sliders”. Next I see a prompt called “Import Sliders” that invites me to “Choose File”. I select my newly exported zip file and then click the blue button to “Import Sliders”. The button changes to an amber color and says “Uploading. Please Wait.” There’s no message indication that anything failed, but the new slider does not appear in the collection of sliders.
I have tried with a zip file as small as 2k (freshly created slider with no settings changed). No change. I have tried on different domains with different hosting providers. No change.
My version of Enfold is: 4.2, but this has spanned all versions for the past year. I just really need the feature now.
Wordpress is version: 4.8.3
I really appreciate your help!

Im installing this plugin (Ajax Load More ) for add a load more button to blog or infinite scroll because google is penalizing me for duplicate content by repeating the text on every page of the blog pagination.
I configurated the plugin like the screen:
