    Hey hylandgraphics,

    You forgot to attach a link :)

    Please try adding this code to the Quick CSS section under Enfold > General Styling or to your child themes style.css file:

    .inner_tooltip h3 {
        font-style: italic !important;
    }

    If that does not help, please post the link to your page

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Great feature I discovered here: I used Google Maps often but did not notice the +-sign for multiple custom marker icons and tooltips possibility before :)

    Nice element Kriesi!

    Thanks,
    Peter

    Hi,

    could you please tell me, what ALB element is used here, to create this element with
    – overlay
    – different custom icons
    – tooltip

    Example site (not mine) from which the screenshot is taken here »

    Thank you.

    #628899

    Yes, sorry they decided to remove it and I found my answer on another post – sharing it for anyone else who needs to know what it’s called –

    /* gallery tooltip hover */

    .avia-tooltip {
    display: none !important;
    }

    Thanks! :)

    Hey webWahine,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    We checked the page but the tooltip has been disabled. Please create a test page so that we can inspect the issue. A screenshot will help.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hey rlogan2334,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    I’m not sure how useful a search icon in a footer can really be but try to add this in the Quick CSS field:

    #socket .avia-search-tooltip.avia-tt {
        margin-top: -100px;
    }

    #socket .social_bookmarks li {
        position: relative;
    }

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hey bonsaimedia,

    Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab and adjust as needed

    .inner_tooltip p {
        line-height: 13px;
    }

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi,

    Sorry for the delay. By replying to your own thread, you are actually pushing it back to the end of the queue and we won’t be able to provide a response immediately. Please refrain from bumping your own thread. Regarding the issue at hand, please add this in the Quick CSS field:

    .avia-search-tooltip {
        max-height: 33px;
    }

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hello
    For some of my portfolio items when you hover over a thumbnail some of the text is running outside of the black box with white text that shows the caption; please see the page in the private link (ignore the first thumbnail – I added in a hard return but I’m not sure that the client will approve that option). You’ll see that the word Vancouver is running outside the box – how do I modify this tooltip hover element please?

    #627153

    Thanks Yigit,

    That still is not working for me, here is my functions file:

    <?php

    function modify_jquery() {
    if (!is_admin()) {
    	wp_deregister_script('jquery');
    	wp_register_script('jquery', 'https://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.3.min.js');
    	wp_enqueue_script('jquery');
    }
    }
    add_action('init', 'modify_jquery');

    add_shortcode('avia_search', 'get_search_form');

    function add_custom_tooltip(){
    ?>
    <script>
    jQuery(window).load(function(){
    jQuery('.only-mobile-menu-search a').removeAttr('href');
    });
    </script>
    <?php
    }
    add_action('wp_footer', 'add_custom_tooltip');

    ?>

    Hi,

    I use the content element “Image with hotspots”. In the tooltip content i place text but the enters (<br />) are not visible in the website. So the content is all on 1 line. When i place a “hard enter” there is too much space between the lines.

    Could you please tell me what to do with this?

    Greets,

    Hi,

    We are very sorry for the delay. Please replace the css code with the following:

    .avia-tooltip ul {
        list-style: disc outside;
    }

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,

    I am adding hotspots on an image. I was wondering if it is possible if all the tooltips that appear on hover appear in the same fixed position. Below and central. so tooltip does not move for different hotspots.

    Website is http://zingmattress.co.uk/home-mobile/

    Thanks,

    Caleb

    Hi,

    as you can see in my link (private content) the tooltips work fine. But if I’m using a bit more text on it, it does not look fine anymore. Where can I change the width for these tooltips? For example to double the width (or any other smart solution).

    I have my footer font set to white and just noticed that my Google map tooltip text is also white (with a white background) so nothing is showing up in the tooltip info box.

    I’ve searched the forums and tried numerous custom css to change the color inside the tooltip text box, but nothing seems to change the color… it always keeps the Footer text color.

    .gm-style .gm-style-iw {
        color: black;
    }

    I’ve also tried adding !imporatnt but that didn’t help either. Is there anything else that I need to add? Would like to make it black so that it shows up.

    Thanks!

    Hey!

    Did you use this code?

    .mfp-wrap {
        z-index: 10000;
    }

    body .avia-tooltip {
        z-index: 0;
    }

    You can also hide the tooltip on mobile with this:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    body .avia-tooltip {
        display: none !important;
        opacity: 0 !important;
    }
    }

    Cheers!

    Hey!

    use this code to control space:

    .avia-tooltip.avia-tt {
    margin-top: -50px;
    }

    and this for font size:

    .avia-tooltip .inner_tooltip {
    font-size: 10px;
    }

    Adjust as needed.

    Andy

    Hi!

    try this code inside of Quick CSS field:

    .av-image-hotspot.av-perma-tooltip.av-display-hotspot {
    left: 50px;
    }

    and adjust as needed.

    Best regards,

    Thanks Cherrmann, you helped point me in the right direction – there was a plugin installed for tooltips which was making this happen. I have deactivated / deleted the offending plugin and everything works smoothly once more.

    Kindest regards,

    Jez

    The caption comes up when you hover over the image, which is what I want. Then the tooltip comes up and hovers over the caption, with the same text in it, obscuring the caption. So that is a problem, but apparently the only thing to do about it is to omit the caption. I was hoping to be able to hide or move the tooltip so it would not obscure the caption.

    Cheers Yigit, my CSS styling appears to be working now. I’m starting to think it was just connection issues!

    One last thing: the hover tooltip on that button now says ‘Subscribe_icon’ rather than just ‘Subscribe’. I realise this pulls through from the functions.php file but when I tried to change it there it no longer recognised the font. Any idea how I can change this?

    Thanks,
    Laurence

    Hallo Enfold Team,

    mir werden die Tooltips leider nicht mehr angzeigt. Das man inzwischen verlinken kann finde ich ein super Feature!

    Vielen Dank im Voraus

    Hm, i guess what you need to do is disable the Tooltip functionality altogether (in mobile), try modifying this line in shortcodes.js:

           new $.AviaTooltip({'class': "avia-tooltip", data: "avia-tooltip", delay:0, scope: "body"});

    To:

    	if($.avia_utilities.isMobile == false)
            new $.AviaTooltip({'class': "avia-tooltip", data: "avia-tooltip", delay:0, scope: "body"});

    The site is not live anywhere at the moment, so I can’t provide a link. However, the tooltip I am referring to is the same as the one that pops up on this page when I roll over your profile photo with the text “View Rikard’s profile.” (I am using Safari). Is there a way to move that or hide it? In the masonry gallery, it obscures the figcaption text that appears on hover, which I do want people to be able to read instead of the tooltip text. Thank you.

    #619069

    Hey!

    Try adding this code to the Quick CSS:

    .avia_mobile .avia-tooltip{display: none !important; }

    Cheers!

    Hello. I have discovered that I can change the text appears when opening image in lightbox just by going to the Edit Image page in media library and changing the text in the title field from the image name to my desired text. Is this a safe practice or can it cause anomalies?
    Thanks, Rob

    Is it possible to either move or hide the tooltip text that shows when hovering over the element caption on the Masonry Gallery? I have activated element captions with display excerpt on mouse hover, and it looks good, until the tooltip text comes up and obscures the excerpt text. How can I move the tooltip text out of the way, or hide it?

    #616096

    Hi!

    Please add this in the Quick CSS field:

    .avia-arrow {
        top: 85%;
    }

    .avia-tooltip .avia-arrow-wrap {
        bottom: 100% !important;
        top: auto !important;
    }

    Regards,
    Ismael

    #614444

    Sure thing. You can view it here:

    If you roll-over the thumbnails in the centre column you’ll see that all is OK, but if you roll-over the thumbnails on either the first or third column, you will see that as soon as the tooltip box has more than one line of text, the little triangle is misaligned.
