Andy: I did follow the instructions and the map is working but here is the question I was looking to have answered…..
“I did follow the documentation and it now works but it does NOT have the ability to get directions directly from that map like on other google maps. I know there is a tooltip area but is there CSS that will make that active and not just basic text info? I’d like to actually give directions not just show where it is on a map since they are usually used for just that, directions… Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?”

When the search icon is clicked in responsive mode, the pop-up search input box appears but it is covered by the hamburger menu icon.
The CSS element .html_bottom_nav_header .avia-search-tooltip also controls the non-responsive behaviour of the search input box when the search icon is clicked on the menu bar, so I need to target the responsive-only behaviour of this element to move the search input box down (or elsewhere so that the hamburger doesn’t cover it).
I have tried this:
@media only screen and (max-width: 1440px) { .responsive .html_bottom_nav_header .avia-search-tooltip { top: 85px !important; }}but it doesn’t work.
I’ve also tried changing .avia-search-tooltip .avia-tt but no success either.
Can you suggest how I can move the input box down please in responsive mode?

It seems to only happen on iOS devices, but I have identified the source. When you click on the Facebook button on Android, it goes right to the Facebook share page. On iOS devices, clicking the Facebook button will first bring up the “Share on Facebook” tooltip. If you click the Facebook button a second time, it seems to work. But since a tooltip that reads “Share on Facebook” comes up, I was confused, thinking that was the actual button.
Of course, clicking on the tooltip does nothing.
Here is a photo of the action I was performing on an iPad:
I am worried that others may have the same issue, thinking the “Share on Facebook” toolip is the actual button. It works great on a desktop as the tooltip lets the user know what will happen when they click on the F button, but on mobile, the tooltip makes it a little awkward. Interestingly enough, the tooltip does not show up on Android.
Maybe the best resolution would be to disable the tootip on mobile devices. Is that possible?

You can turn on custom CSS field for ALB elements – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/turn-on-custom-css-field-for-all-alb-elements/ and then edit your Masonry Gallery and give it a custom CSS class and then add following code to Functions.php file in Appearance > Editor to remove the tooltip on that element

YigitWould love to share a link but the website is currently “under construction” and only a landing page is showing. Instead I made two screen recording of which I hope they will be useful.
The first screen recording shows the standard behavior with the tooltip upon hovering etc.
The second screen recording shows what I am looking for with a download button below the lightbox. Issue here is that the HTML will also show up in the tooltip. I added the HTML in the image description field.
As a side note, I thought the alt_text of a picture should be used for the tooltip and not the description?
I am using the standard Masonry gallery to show covers of PDF files. What I would like is to add a download button, linked to the PDF file, underneath the caption text when it is opened in the lightbox. Is there a way to achieve this?
Edit: I added some html to the Description field of the image and now a link shows up underneath the picture when it is opened in the lightbox. Annoying is that the html is now showing up in the tooltip when you hover over the image. I tried some plugins that kill the tooltip but that will also kill the link underneath the image. Anyone has an idea on how to resolve this?

Questions Two:
1.) At everything above about 780px wide, there’s a huge, header-sized white space at the top that I don’t want there. Please send some guidance toward getting rid of it
2.) When you go smaller than that, the white space goes away but now the tooltips appear first in the story. Is there any way to make those appear following the text?
(Note: I have temporarily worked around that problem by putting the Special Header above the image, but I would rather have the image go first.)

since a few weeks we have the problem that our company mainpage changes “over night” from our our regular mainpage to a view where only header and footer is available and in main content: “registration closed”. We are using a Multisite wordpress installation with main domain and several subdomains.
When I go in the backend to enfold settings and change “Frontpage settings” and change it back and save (after this clearing cache from gator cache) — regular mainpage is shown again.
I enclosed a screenshot from the mainpage when problem occurs. Also source code of corrupted site. This problem always occurs between two days — I have a look to the page at the evening everything is fine — next morning page shows corrupted mainpage.
- UPDATE: yesterday this problem occurs within the day – from one minute to another mainpage showed only “registration closed” within footer and header
- main content missing

wir haben seit einiger Zeit das Problem das sich quasi über Nacht in unserer Firmen Multisite Installation die Startseite ändert… Dies geschieht tatsächlich jeweils über Nacht…. Wir bringen das Problem mit Enfold in Verbindung da sich hier in den Theme Einstellungen das Problem auch wieder beheben lässt, jedoch leider nur für kurze Zeit.
Ich habe einen Screenshot angefügt um das Problem zu veranschaulichen. Wir erhalten gerade nahezu jeden Morgen die unerfreuliche Startseiten Ansicht “Die Registrierung wurde deaktiviert”.
- Content der Startseite fehlt
- Header und Footer sind da
- CSS Dateien werden geladen
Das Problem kann behoben werden in dem wir im wordpress Backend unter ENFOLD –> Enfold Child (DE) Optionen –> Frontpage Settings –> die Startseiten Auswahl abändern wieder zurückstellen und dann speichern –> wir leeren dann noch den Cache von Gator Cache –> Startseite wieder da……
Gibt es da bekannte Ursachen/ mögliche Zusammenhänge für das Problem?

I’ve since had the problem again and figured out what the issue is. It’s to do with the WordPress Admin Bar. If it’s there, the tooltips shift down, if not then it’s all ok. Last time I was told it was ok, but that’s because you weren’t logged in! See login details below

I would like to remove the title tag of all of the gallery element.
Cause when you hold your cursor a longer time above one of the gallery pictures, the description I typed in the backend is displayed twice. (on the tooltip, which opens via JavaScript and also the browser displays some moments later the title tag.
How can I remove it?

o get rid of the tooltip when hovering the image is not an enfold matter – and i think even not a matter of wordpress.
It is one of the basic functions of browsers to show a tooltip if a title-tag is set.Yes, @guenni007 is correct. The tooltip is not something the theme can control. It is a default browser feature which can only be prevented by removing the title attribute of the elements which is bad for SEO.

i think on enfold this is called mfp
.mfp-title { display: none; }if you want it more specific than you have to set up a custom class for that masonry / gallery etc.
and if you want to get rid of the whole bar :
.mfp-bottom-bar { display: none; }to get rid of the tooltip when hovering the image is not an enfold matter – and i think even not a matter of wordpress.

Looks like the tooltip only display on mouse leave. Did you modify any of the theme files? We tried to access the site but the login credentials are not working. Make sure that you have the latest version of the theme, 3.6.1. And WordPress version 4.5.3.

Ok I solved more or less all the issues axcept one. First I work with the woocommerce multilingual settings as stated above. This give me the possibility of opening the product in each language from teh standard avia layout builder of Enfold. In this way I can check all settings (example I found that in the automatic copy the Name Your Price Option was not set and that’s why it didn’t appear in the front end).
I downloaded a wpml-config.xml file that I copied in my child theme and the menu now has the same color taken from my custom css style sheet.
However the custom shortcodes don’t work. They appear in the avia layout builder in the administrative panel (while editing the product), but nothing appears in the front-end. It is like the php function I wrote is not working in the front end translated page.
The code is the following… maybe I should add something the php file.
It takes takes the formatted name from each variation of the product (which are cruise dates) and it extrapolates the variation name and its stock availability (= places available in each cruise date).
