EliYeah I did choose this option but somehow its still choosing a size randomly.. I don’t know why. So, that’s I asked you guys if its possible that the gallery plugin choose the actual size specially when I click NO SCALING then things would be fine.

Big Big Thanks :DI’d like to use SQUARE images on my grid blog, instead of the “portfolio” size images, which are slightly wider than they are tall. In the theme’s functions file, I can see that the “masonry” size crops to a square.
I’ve tried to modify the blog.php template file, changing “portfolio” to “masonry” but this doesn’t have any effect.
Can you please point me in the right direction?

Hi!
I just noticed you selected a big thumbnail size for the gallery images. Please revert the change I posted above and in the gallery option window select a small thumbnail size like 180pxx180px or something similar: http://www.clipular.com/c/5476409417924608.png?k=G7Kwwbty8kY5biq4SC5EptElJjk . The smaller size should fix the issue ans also speed up the loading times a bit.

First of all thanks for this wonderful and versatile theme!I’m almost ready with the site, however I found some confusing behaviors in galleries en image pop-ups.
First, I noticed Pretty Photo did not show the description in the white area below the pop-up the image. I found a thread with a link to an updated script for loop-index.php https://kriesi.at/support/topic/lightbox-problem-description-caption-not-displayed/
That does work for some galleries. It works in posts for the gallery type “Big image with thumbnails below”, but it does not work on a gallery with just small thumbnails.
The selected image is exactly the same;
This is a post with two of the same galleries, why they are presented different is beyond me

Normally it parses to the thumbnail version without the description tagAny ideas about that?
Then, in the pages the description tag is shown, but you can’t enter them in gallery upload view:
You need to click ‘edit image’ and then you can see the description, which took me some time to figure out, let alone the end-user
EDIT: just did a test switching the language to English, but that did not make any difference.

What lightbox plugin needs to be installed because the lightbox option does not work? It just open the image on a completely blank page.
Also, when I use the Ajax preview option, all the images are shown as squares when my images are actually landscape. If I set a featured image, the thumbnail displays the full image properly but the preview shows a blown up, low quality square image. How can I set this up properly. And if I set a featured image but don’t use Ajax then the featured image shows up on the single portfolio item page but it’s severely cropped.
Do you have documentation for setting up the different portfolios because it isn’t covered in your current documentation and I find it confusing.

The problem is that the thumbnails are not rectangular but they have something like 100×80 px
The code provided fixed the circles but the images get with a strange aspect ratio. Any chance to resize the image inside to something like 80×65? instead of 80×80?Thank you

I’m using add this plugin for sharing purpose. but somehow when I’m clicking on facebook share button its not keeping the right thumbnail. I tried to do some research but someone told me its because of the theme.
Is there any solution for that?

I completely agree with you that the first image was pointing to the highest resolution available (because it was set manually)
but the second image was done through gallery plugin which links the images automatically so is there a way that it link the images to its highest resolution images instead of choosing random size automatically. If its possible then its gonna be awesome and my problem will be solved.

Where are you using the featured image? Posts? You can find the thumbnail size use for post on functions.php, find this code:
$avia_config['imgSize']['entry_without_sidebar']= array('width'=>1030, 'height'=>360 ); // images for fullsize pages and fullsize sliderChange the width and the height then regenerate the thumbnails using this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

You are welcome. No, it is not possible as they are actually image sprites so in order to change them you should edit those images. You can find files inside wp-content\themes\enfold\js\prettyPhoto\images\prettyPhoto\default folder

You can add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS to remove the search button:

Estamos probando una pagina con el tema Enfold e insertamos una contenido multimedia llamado galeria.
Esta galeria cuando carga la pagina las fotos tienen un “marco” negro y queriamos cambiar el color.Por otra parte esta galeria cuando pulsas la foto se abre a tamaño completo enmarcando la foto en blanco y nos gustaria que no tuviese nada salvo los botones de navegación.
No se si me he explicado….
