Hey!

We tested both plugins on 4.1 and they work fine. If you don’t want to use any plugins, try to edit functions.php. Look for this code:

$avia_config['imgSize']['widget'] 			 	= array('width'=>36,  'height'=>36);

Adjust the width and height and set the crop parameter to false. Regenerate the thumbnails using the suggested plugin on the other thread or upload the featured images again.

It will also affect the thumbnail size used on testimonials, catalogue and product sliders.

Looks like you modify the size of the news thumb container. Try to install the Simple Image Sizes plugin then go to Settings > Media panel. Adjust the size of the widget thumbnail, update then save changes. Regenerate the thumbnails after.

To make images perfect circle, they should be perfect square before applying custom CSS code. You can go to Appearance > Editor and open Functions.php file and find image sizes and adjust them as needed

You can find the code you posted in Functions.php file of your parent theme. After making changes, please use this plugin to regenerate thumbnails – https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

Thank you for using Enfold.

Edit the portfolio element then set the Portfolio Grid Image Size to the second option. Manually set the thumbnail size. Although the best solution is to use images with the same size and dimension.

You can insert the Gallery element then set Gallery Style to Big image with thumbnails below. Please take some time to review all of the resources in the Theme Documentation.
