    Hi ACNLatitudes!

    Perhaps a plugin like this would work, https://wordpress.org/plugins/thumbnail-upscale/.

    Best regards,
    Elliott

    #460129

    It is still not working.

    See in the screenshot you provided how Test2 and Test1 don’t have the audio in them? I am trying to get them to work like the others but the audio won’t go in to the featured image in the thumbnail or in the post itself, like the others.

    What am I missing to make this happen, I have been all over Google as well trying to figure it out, I have the test ones set up just like the demo posts and I am not getting the same result.

    How do I get the audio to be in the thumbnail and on the featured image on the posts like the demo?

    Thank you for all of your help.

    Hey ACNLatitudes!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Please use this plugin in order to adjust the thumbnail sizes: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/

    After adjusting the size of the thumbnail, you need to regenerate the images or upload it again. You can find the thumbnail info and regenerate button on Settings > Media panel.

    Cheers!

    In reply to: Ajax portfolio layout

    Hey v_alard!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    1.) You can placed the ajax info in the Ajax Portfolio Preview Settings. The contents in the editor will show in the right column of the ajax preview.

    2.) You can modify the lightbox with css. Add it on the Quick CSS field. If you want to remove the file name, use this:

    .mfp-bottom-bar {
      display: none;
    }

    3.) It’s possible to select a predefined thumbnail. Set the Portfolio Grid Image Size to the second option then choose the thumbnail size that you want.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi there,

    The video background on the homepage is not playing. It played when I first input the link (from Vimeo), but it now shows a static image from the video clip (thumbnail image that Vimeo uses to show preview). Not sure if this is an individual issue or an issue that others are having?

    Thanks

    Hey!

    Do the following:
    1. Install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
    2. Go to Settings > Media
    3. Change the masonry image size (increase it).
    4. Regenerate the thumbnails by clicking the button at the bottom.

    Topic: Testimonial image size

    Hi, i have found several threads regarding testimonial image size, but after adding the relevant CSS and rebuilding thumbnails, also uploading the original images again, the height/width ratio is not correct.

    For some reason it does not recognize the 120×120, instead makes it 120×80 ..

    thanks for your help

    Hi Rikard,

    It’s not live yet unfortunately but it’s the same as this page: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/2014/04/18/boxing-is-trending/
    In the sidebar to the right you have Latest news and underneath they are listed with thumbnail, date and time. This is obviously posts not portfolio items like mine but same issue.

    Let me know if you need a login to the site to have a look.

    Thanks!

    maybe the option is to push down the thumbnail?

    hi yigit – that added space, but i’d rather have space BETWEEN the last line of words in the (usually) three-sentence stack, and the horizontal rule.

    the change actually added space below the rule, further pushing down / non-horizontally aligning the next listing with its thumbnail. please see attached by what i mean.

    Hi Justin!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/

    Go to Settings > Media panel then adjust the size of the entry_with_sidebar and entry_without_sidebar thumbnails. Regenerate or upload the images again after.

    Cheers!

    Hi Support,

    With regards to the gallery… we had to change the thumbnail effect to activate animation on page load in order to get them to show.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi there,

    Just wondering whether there is an easy CSS way of removing the date and time details on the portfolio listings widget?

    I’m listing services there in the sidebar and I don’t want to show the date and time they were listed, just the thumbnail and the title.

    Thanks!

    Hey guys! when I use the masonry grid with the “Landscape” or “Portrait” tags those images look pixelated (Because they are twice the size that they are supposed to) here is an example http://i.glui.me/1TlyAjI and here is the actual page http://bit.ly/1QXnZHP

    The thumbnail I upload is big enough but get automatically cropped, How can i keep these images always crisp?

    Thanks!

    #458784

    Hi sjoisw!

    You can use some CSS to force it like so.

    .template-blog .big-preview img {
      max-height: 200px;
      min-height: 200px;
    }

    But that may make some of them look distorted. It’s most likely because some of your images are not big enough to crop to 1500 x 300. I would try using a smaller thumbnail size.

    Cheers!

    I have the same question as this thread but had trouble implementing the suggested code.
    https://kriesi.at/support/topic/change-the-default-blog-thumb-icon-with-a-default-image/
    On my Home page I’m using the Magazine content element. For posts that don’t have an image, the default thumb is the pencil icon. I’d rather use my own default image. How can I do this without having to use the WP “featured image” option?

    When I added suggested code the pencil disappeared but only the background color remained. Do I need to resize the image I want to use to 49×49?

    Thanks
    Mike

    I am able to get the audio in the posts, I can’t get it to play the audio in the featured image on the preview or in the top of the posts like in the Church Demo.

    In the demo when you select sermons you see the sermons and then are able to play the audio from the thumbnail:
    http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-church/sermons/

    And then when you select a sermon the audio is in the featured image:
    http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-church/2015/05/21/a-proper-perspective-on-thanksgiving/

    That is what I am missing, the audio I put in is in the content area at the top.

    How do I get the audio to be in the thumbnail and in the featured image?

    Thank you.

    #458255

    Hey!

    After you adjust the thumbnail size, did you regenerate the images? There’s a regenerate button at the very bottom of the plugin’s panel.

    Hi,

    How can I place a sidebar either on the left or the right side of the product on the same level, not underneath the thumbnail as it is not???

    hi Yigit,

    thanks for coming back on my issue. before i work on the function.php, here is the one of the pages i do use the catalogue. First cell called BASS is linked to its respective page. As you can see, thumbnail flips to the top, the row with “Info zum Bassunterricht” moves down. I would like to have the styling of the unlinked version, apply the link and finally remove the “info…” part.

    Please see http://www.musikzentrale.net/ueber-uns/musikschulen/gladenbach/ for reference.

    Cheers, Sebastian.

    Hi there, best Support ever ;-)

    on e.g. http://www.musikzentrale.net/ueber-uns/musikschulen/gladenbach/ the catalogue module to show the different instruments we teach at our music school. I would like to have the whole cell linked to the respective page, but since this feature obviously adds some extra spacing, thumbnail flips above the title and the the text gets somewhat more narrow.

    Is there any way to remove the additional spacing and get the catalogue element linked to a page? Thanks for your assistance.

    Best regards, Sebastian.

    Hi!

    Did you use the Grid Layout? If yes, please edit config-templatebuilder >avia-shortcodes > postslider.php, look for this code around line 367:

    $output .= $thumbnail ? "<a href='{$link}' data-rel='slide-".avia_post_slider::$slide."' class='slide-image' title=''>{$thumbnail}</a>" : "";

    Replace it with:

    $target =  strpos($entry->post_content, 'http') === 0 ? '_blank' : '';
    					$output .= $thumbnail ? "<a href='{$link}' target='{$target}' data-rel='slide-".avia_post_slider::$slide."' class='slide-image' title=''>{$thumbnail}</a>" : "";

    Make sure that you place the link at the very beginning of the post content. Use full or absolute url, sample:

    http://www.mypage.com/page

    If it works, please create a change log or note for this modification in case you update the theme.

    Cheers!

    Hi!

    Did you change the size of the square thumbnail in the simple image size plugin? The default is 180x180px, in your installation, looks like it is using the original thumbnail size. You can set the width and height to 100% but it will distort some of the images:

    .small-preview img, .big-preview img {
      width: 100%;
      height: 100%;
    }

    Cheers!

    Ofc my favorite support guy :)

    1. In the gallery of 3 pictures, when you put the mouse over a picture, the picture is turning dark, like there is black color over it- I don’t want that to be anymore.
    2. The CSS fix did not change it.
    What I mean is the “Thumbnail fade in effect” in the gallery options, when you open the page, and I don’t want this effect at all.
    3.When you mouse-over a picture in gallery, there is little description in white color with black background, I need it to be in the middle of each picture and not from the top, and also I want to add effect it that it gets bigger.

    In reply to: Gallery thumbnails

    Hey Richard!

    We do not have any options for that currently but you can create a feature request here, https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/, and we may see something get added in a future update.

    As for the thumbnails when you edit the element there is an option for changing the image size which you can set to “No scaling” to make sure they are not cropped. Is that what you are trying to do?

    Best regards,
    Elliott

    I would rather not autoplay my video on a layer slider but when it loads neither the user controls or the video thumbnail show which may confuse the users.

    If this can be fixed great.

    Alternatively, if I must autoplay, can it be set that it does so once and then the user can select if it does when the slide loops through.

    Option 1 is preferred.

    Hey!

    Please add following code to Quick CSS

    .search-result-counter {
      box-shadow: none;
    }

    and change following line

    $searchthumb    = get_the_post_thumbnail( $post_id, $size, $attr );
                    echo "<span class='search-result-counter {$counterclass}'>{$searchthumb}</span>";

    to following

    `$searchthumb    = get_the_post_thumbnail( $post_id, $size, $attr );
    $permalink = get_permalink();
                    echo "<a href='{$permalink}'><span class='search-result-counter {$counterclass}'>{$searchthumb}</span></a>";`

    MMmmhhh ah yes it’s a good solution, I just want the original size image and not the thumbnail, but for this I think I’ll easily find the solution :-)

    Thanks !!!
