I figured this out, too.
perhaps you could tell me, instead how to make the thumbnails on these kind of pages and our homepage, the same size? I realize I could go into Photoshop and redo them all there, but it would be nice if I didn’t have to.
This does not work..it open the image in the window..
We are looking to use the big image with preview below option, the set up is almost there, the thumbnails are faded..when you click on a thumbnail the image opens up in the browser window as opposed to the big preview area.
Did you login and visit our blog post? info in private section
Thank you
EDIT:
OK, they had seem to have been fixed because in an attempt to resolve the problem, I had added a border (which I did not want) on the thumbnails. Now that I removed the border the problem is obvious again!
Hello Basilis,
You are going to think I am crazy, but it all of the sudden it seems to have almost fixed itself!
It used to be very obvious on all thumbnails. Now I just see it on one of them.
Because they load in random order I could not point one specific, so I made a small screen grab of one that shows it: http://dev.mediabox.ca/sampleline.png
Typically, it appears to be more pronounced on thumbnails that are tall, but as for the example not always.
How can I change the text size, number of images shown and thumbnail size for related posts on the enfold theme? I have tags in place but can’t find a way to style the section.
Hey there,
I get a one pixel gap (mostly at the bottom but sometimes on the left) on the labels of the thumbnails’ Element Title, when using Masonry.
I’ve tried different things in Quick CSS but have been unable to figure out :(
You can see what I mean by hovering on the thumbnails here: http://dev.mediabox.ca/portfolio/
Any suggestions please?
Hi Andy,
I have created a test page for you with a “blog post” component.
http://www.berangere-test.fr/test-page-for-kriesi-supprt/
The 1st post is a link post. The others are standard posts.
On the link post, if you click on the thumbnail or the title, you are directed to the external link, which is the expected behaviour. If you click on the Read More text, you are directed to the post itself, which is not relevant for a link post.
So my question is : for link posts, can I remove the read more text (and only for those posts) or is there a way to have the read more text target the external link ?
I send you and admin code in the private area.
Cheers
Bérangère
We are inserting a gallery into our blog, but the big picture with thumbnails feature is not working, the thumbnails are opening in a new window??here’s the code..
[av_gallery ids='6891,6890,6889,6888,6887,6886' style='big_thumb' preview_size='portfolio' crop_big_preview_thumbnail='avia-gallery-big-no-crop-thumb' thumb_size='widget' columns='5' imagelink='avianolink noLightbox' lazyload='avia_lazyload' custom_class='']
Thank you
Hi Andy,
I’m using Read More on customer request, because the blog also contains standard posts. For link posts, I was expecting Read More to behave like thumbnail and title links, eg open the post’s link and not the post itself. (I hope I’m clear !)
For link posts, I have tried to hide Read More with css but couldn’t make it because there is no selector available to target link posts only.
I would be very happy if you have a solution for that !
Bérangère
Thank you Ismael!
That worked, but it took me a while to understand, so I would like to share here how I did it in case anyone else looks at this thread in the future:
1. Create a Portfolio post for each item you want in the Masonry;
2. In that post, insert the image you want in the Masonry thumbnail as the Feature Image for the said post;
3. Now, assign the Portfolio Category/ies you want to that Portfolio post (these are the categories you’ll be able to select in your Masonry when you are creating it and later previewing it);
4. Still in the Portfolio post, A) scroll down to Additional Portfolio Settings, B) select Overwrite Portfolio Link setting, and C) paste the URL of the image you want opening as Lightbox when you click the thumbnail in the Masonry, in Link portfolio item to external URL .
What I really like about this approach, is that the thumbnail and the image that opens up on a Lightbox don’t even need to be the same image, which allows you to create a custom thumbnail, like a custom crop of the image that will open as you click the thumbnail.
Hope this will help others. If I made a mistake, please feel free to edit as required Ismael.
Hi
My icon images are set to 200×200, however as Thumbnail size are set with 80×80 I’m geting blurry images.
My question is if I can change thumbnail settings to 200×200 without harming other media settings and if it’s necessay to regenerate thumbnails.

Hi everyone,
I’ve just purchased Enfold and so far, i’m really happy with the result.
That said, i have a conflict between my calendar plugin, All-in-one Event Calendar and the theme. When using the calendar view called “Stream” of the plugin, the expected result is this (view with Twenty Sixteen theme) :

But using Enfold, i have this :

I’ve checked the problem and it seems that Avia is adding style tags to the link of the image with a JS function :
The problem comes with “position: relative;”. If this is not set, then the image is correctly displayed.
What can i do to turnaround the problem quickly ? What can be the side effects ? Is there a permanent solution to solve this issue ?
Hope it’s all clear !
Thanks in advance for the help,
Mickaël.
Obviously that doesnt work when using the shortcodes [av_one_half first] together with the blog format “gallery”. Text-content is displayed “half” but gallery still goes below in full size. When changing it to “standard” the gallery is messed up showing only thumbnails.
Please login and have a look.
Hey!
It will regenerate the thumbnails set by the theme and the default WP thumbnails.

Ismael
Hello!
I’m building my website based on Enfold Construction Demo. Page “service” has a column on the left side for quick navigation between them (circled). Here is a picture:

Is there a possibility to have a thumbnail pictures (different for each one ) pop-up when cursor is on either one of the listed services ?
Thanks!
Hello, I would like to use gallery in enfold instead of nextgen gallery who is heavy and breaks some things…
So I use a plug in who can organise the media library in folders but that’s not the point.
When I insert a 4 column gallery on a page (not masonry). The page display 4 columns. No problem.
But on mobile there is still 4 column but the thumbnails are very small.
I would like to have a more responsive content who display 2 columns or one column when it is necessary on mobile and 4 column on desktop.
Is it possible?
I precise that I have created custom portrait and landscape thumbnail size with a resize Plugin
Thx
Hi!
In the Portfolio Grid element, set the “Portfolio Grid Image Size” to manual then select the thumbnail size that you want. In order to make sure that you will get a consistent grid, upload images with the same size and proportions.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hey!
You can go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display and change category image sizes and then regenerate thumbnails using this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
Please note that this is WooCommerce related also if your case is urgent, please try to avoid self posting as it usually makes threads overlooked. If you have not self posted, we would probably answered faster. I was checking newer threads and saw yours, “i spent money for support” mention did not help, for your information :)

Hello Yigit, thank you for the help. You can preview what I am doing at: http://dev.mediabox.ca/sandbox/
I’ve read the thread carefully and tried my best to understand what to do:
1. Installed plugin
2. Created a new Custom Post Type (called it Samples1)
3. Created a couple of pages under that new post type and placed images in the Featured Image
4. Also assigned > Format = Image, plus a Categories and Tags
5. Went back to my Masonry where I now have the option of Post Format (only “Image” shows on the list; not my Categories)
6. The resulting thumbnails still go to a page rather than opening a lightobox :(
Any chance you could please give me more detail instructions?
Ismael
I’m just a newbie to WordPress so when you stated “Did you apply or add featured images to the posts?” You assumed I would know what you were referring to … Hmm not the case … Anyway I have Figured it out …. Checked that the theme had ‘post thumbnails’ in the functions.php file which it did.
Clearly this feature works, it’s just I don’t know my way around the Enfold theme or WordPress very well. Eventually figured out this issue is due when adding images to a Blog Post – need to click “add media” button and then from Insert Media menu need to select “Featured Image” That is the connection to the thumbnails. I was adding images inside of the post and assuming these would be picked up.
Featured Images was the signpost that I followed to a solution.
Thanks for your help
Dave

1. Currently 4 blog posts and all have an image inserted into the post. Unless I am doing something wrong when inserting these?
2. same answer as 1.
Given that I am using one of the Enfold theme widgets, and after clicking on the link provided in your previous reply, I was not aware that I would have to declare support for post thumbnails in the functions.php file before the interface for assigning these images will appear as thumbnails on the Enfold Blog widget screens. By using the widget supplied I thought this would be just work?
Regards
Dave
Hi davegibb!
Thank you for using Enfold.
1.) Did you apply or add featured images to the posts? The widgets should automatically grab that image.
2.) Same question as #1.

Hey!
The disadvantage is that you don’t get to choose certain image size while inserting the image to post or assigning it to a post or a portfolio thumbnail.
To do any custom modifications please use a child theme so you wont lose it after a theme update.
http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/
You can go ahead and remove the lines you don’t want in child theme files.
Best regards,
Vinay Kashyap
Thanks a lot… setting it to “no scaling” worked out well…
One question on the regenerate thumbnails: when using this plugin will it regenerate the thumbnails based on the settings in Enfold (widget, square, featured, etc) or based on the settings in the plugin setting panel?
I have a custom post type called properties. With custom fields created template for the archive, on child theme archive-properties.php
I am using the following loop code to get the posts on the properties archive page.
<?php
$args = array(
'posts_per_page' => '10',
'post_type' => 'properties'
);
// Custom query.
$query = new WP_Query( $args );
// Check that we have query results.
if ( $query->have_posts() ) {
echo '<div class="showcase-posts">';
// Start looping over the query results.
while ( $query->have_posts() ) {
$query->the_post();
?>
<div <?php post_class( 'showcase-post' ); ?>>
<div class="showcase-post-thumbnail">
<a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>">
<?php if ( has_post_thumbnail() ) { the_post_thumbnail('medium'); } ?>
</a>
</div>
<div class="showcase-right">
<div class="showcase-post-title">
<a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>" title="<?php the_title_attribute(); ?>">
<?php the_title(); ?>
</a>
</div>
<div class="showcase-price">
$<?php the_field('price') ?>
</div>
<div class="showcase-address">
<?php the_field('address') ?>
</div>
<div class="showcase-bedrooms">
<i class="fa fa-bed"></i> <?php the_field('bedrooms') ?> Bedrooms
</div>
<div class="showcase-bathrooms">
<i class="fa fa-tint"></i> <?php the_field('bathrooms') ?> Bathrooms
</div>
<div class="showcase-size">
<i class="fa fa-exchange"></i> <?php the_field('size') ?> s.f.
</div>
</div>
</div>
<?php
}
echo '</div>';
}
// Restore original post data.
wp_reset_postdata();
?>
Everything is good but just need the pagination to be working. I would like to use the pagination that is used on blog archive or any archive pages on this theme.
So, if there is any way to integrate that into the archive-properties.php file, please let me know.
Thanks in advance
I noticed a few days ago the my media folder had various thumbnails missing but when i click to pull up the edit pan the image pulls up but won’t allow me to edit. I get an error: “Image data does not exist. Please re-upload the image.”
Then if I try re-upload I get an error “HTTP Error”
I changed the theme and everything works fine.

Hello everybody,
I have some issues with Enfold and the Pagebuilder.
1.) On our site: http://cmb.p2407.de/blog/ we created the blogroll with the Page Builder. The Posts are also made with Page Builder. Is there a way to show content/excerpt of that posts in the blogroll?
2.) In the blogroll the the post thumbnail is shown on top of the post (as we wanted it to). When opening the post site, there isn´t any thumbnail shown. We want to have it on top of the post to as shown in the blogroll. Is this possible?
3.) In the blog roll the post title is shown underneath the thumbnail (as we wanted it to). On the single site we removed the title section above the post. Is there a way to show the title underneath the thumbnail there, too?
I hope,I could make clear what issues we have and you can help us.
Thanks in advance.
There are lateral navigation arrows which turn into thumbnails on each side of every page. Where do I control these?
Hi netfex!
Please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display and change single product image size and then regenarate thumbnails using this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

Hi zusammen,
