Hi Tobias,
Sorry for the late reply!
Try the following:
1. Install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
2. Go to Settings > Media
3. Change the featured_large image size (increase its width / height).
4. Regenerate the thumbnails by clicking the button at the bottom.
Best regards,
Yigit
Hi,
I’ve duplicated the settings and image sizes from your logo element demo but still have issues with the grid items properly spacing themselves evenly. the columns align vertically properly but there is too much space horizontally. In addition, choosing a different thumbnail other than native size blurs the image.
You can see the spacing issue here:

Hi,
Can you please suggest why my thumbnails aren’t lining up in a row? Thank you!
Justine
Hello. Please see image for details.
Thank you,
Ryan
Hey Elsa,
After changing image sizes, please regenerate them using this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/. You could also try to uncheck hard crop.
I think it would be the best if you informed your vendors so they would upload images in your desired size to avoid the issue.

Yigit
Hi!
Alright. Thank you for the info. For the portfolio archive pages, you need to modify the taxonomy-portfolio_entries.php file. Add the “image_size” attribute to the avia_post_grid class.
$grid = new avia_post_grid(array( 'linking' => '',
'columns' => '3',
'contents' => 'title',
'sort' => 'no',
'paginate' => 'yes',
'set_breadcrumb' => false, 'preview_mode', => 'custom', 'image_size' => 'full'
Default value is “portfolio”. You can find the available image thumbnail sizes in the functions.php file (line 144).
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi,
I want to know how to customize the image size in the module ‘magazine’, both for the large image for the thumbnail.
If possible, also the length of the preview text.
Thank you
Sabina
Hi,
Is it possible to increase the size of the thumbnails in the easy slider setup window. Currently they are 80x80px and a little small for me to see when trying to re-order multiple images that look similar. I would like to set the thumbs to 150px.
Thanks,
Mike
Hi again,
I try many things in the night but still not working …
First:
1. Into the Enfold Menu – Blog Layout choosen
– Use the ad´vance layout editor to build your own blog layout
– Single Post with big preview image is choosen
2. On my Blog Page
– Blog Style – Single Author with big preview is choosen
– Preview Image Size – is on manuell mode
– Select custom image size for preview – Entry With Sidebar is choosen ( 800 x 600 Modified in the function.php I use the regenerate-thumbnails plugin after that)
3. A New Blog Post
– Set a Feature Image for the Post – save and test the results
– the image has not the size that I choose for preview Image size on teh blog page
What is broken here?
How can I use a feature image for blog post with edit size?
When I dont use the feature image possibility and choose a normal picture all is fine.
So Enfold has not the ability to define the normal Feature Image of WordPress or there must be another way …
Also try to choose a normal pic, set no feature image and set the blog Contribution format to image -> Image is Broken
There must be a error etc.
Have a nice day.
I hope there is a solution for this, because I dont want to go without the preview (Feature Image) of WordPress.
Best regards
Tobias
Hi!
Thank you for the update.
Are you using the Portfolio Grid element or the Masonry element? If you’re using the portfolio grid element, please edit it then set the “Portfolio Grid Image Size” to manual. Select the thumbnail size that you want.
Best regards,
Ismael
Thank you, Jordan.

I’d also like to remove the thumbnail images on my blog page.
Also, please let me know if you have any suggestions for my site. Unfortunately I’m not a coder.
Hi Enfold Team,
I hope you can help me or give me a hint:
I want to edit the default Blog Post image (contributory picture), just read many threads and try to edit the follow code line
$avia_config['imgSize']['entry_with_sidebar'] = array('width'=>845, 'height'=>321); edit to 800 x 600
after that I use a plugin to regenerate thumbnails (plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/)
but that is not working the images have not the size I want to display and edit.
When I use the Investigate abilities of my browser they have this size:
left: -5px; top: 0px; overflow: hidden; display: block; height: 556px; width: 843px;
But my edit is 800 x 600
Also I try to choose different sizes in the Blog Style. But that do nothing.
In my opinion, when I edit the image size of the blog “Select custom image size for preview”
the image of the Blog Post must have the size I choose? Or is the function for something else?
And what about the WordPress Media-Size, is there a edit to do or can I stay at default settings?
—
I want a Blog Size Preview Image in format 4:3
for example 800 x 600 and the image from my mediathek should stay in there without a crop.
Is there a automatic size when I choose entry with sidebar for the image size and the white space etc.?
I hope you understand what I want and can help me.
Thx a lot and have a gerat day
Tobias
I would like to list my blog items like this

In Enfold this seems not an build in option. I tried the plugin Ultimate Pro Post list, but I would rather work with out a plugin.
Hi,
Please try the following:
1. Install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
2. Go to Settings > Media
3. Change the entry_with_sidebar image size (increase its width / height).
4. Regenerate the thumbnails by clicking the button at the bottom.

Hey,
I want to make a gallery with images like they have done here: http://sunshinestories.com/guide-to-galle/
but I can’t figure out how to do it when I Add Media – Add Gallery
I just keep thumbnails even if I don’t choose that – http://www.airlinestaffrates.com/gallery-test/
Thanks
Charlotte
Hi!
I’m sorry but I got confused with your terms. The Product Grid element from the advance layout builder is not a “normal WooCommerce grid” because it’s a custom product template. It’s actually a modified post slider and it uses different thumbnails based on the number of columns. If it is set to 3 columns, it’s going to use the “portfolio” thumbnail. You can install the following plugin then go to the Settings > Media panel, look for the “portfolio” thumbnail, adjust the size, update, save then regenerate the thumbnails.
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/

Hi,
I have copied a table from an old website (I’m building a new one for the client) The table has a lot of links and to avoid re-doing these links I though it would be better to use the original table.
I am having trouble with the formatting of the table and hope you can help.
Just want alternate colours in the rows (Colours that are already there) and the lines to show between each row. You can see the table here
http://www.cunninglygoodbuild2.co.uk/archives/?preview_id=1025&preview_nonce=77bb9f7805&_thumbnail_id=-1&preview=true
Is it possible for you to give me some coding to do this please or some styling changes? i will keep searching online for any alternative answers.
Thanks in advance
Kim

Hey Obeatone!
Please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display and change image sizes as needed and then regenerate them using this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
Cheers!

Hi Nikko,
thanks but unfortunately it doesn´t change anything in the gallery thumbnails. Still in all gallerie smore than 6 thumbnails.
Hi Andy,
Thank you for your reply. Sure, next time I’ll open different tickets.
I installed the plug-in that you adviced and corrected the size section as 1500×1500. I saved and pushed “regenerate thumbnails” button. After 2 hours process I faced with 2 situations;
1)Vertical photos are now sharp enough because they look bigger than the horizontal ones.
2)Horizontal photos are still blurry because they are looking smaller.
Is there a better way to solve this problem? And do I need to do the same process every time that I upload new photos?
Thanks;
Hande
Hey glozemedia,
Thank you for using Enfold.
Where can we find the actual video? I checked the home page but there’s no video there. We can only add the description because the video element does not support a thumbnail and the uploadDate markup is irrelevant because the video is hosted on a third party site (youtube).
Please try this in the functions.php file:
function ava_custom_script_mod(){
?>
<script>
(function($){
function a() {
$('.avia-video').each(function() {
var description = $(this).find('a').attr('title');
$(this).append('<span class="description"><span itemprop="description">'+description+'</span></span>');
});
}
a();
})(jQuery);
</script>
<?php
}
add_action('wp_footer', 'ava_custom_script_mod');
Best regards,
Ismael
Hey Hande,
please open different tickets for different questions/issues.
1.) Not sure what you mean, can you explain further please? also include screenshots to make things clear for us (imgur.com, dropbox).
In LayerSlider you can open “Dynamic Content from posts”: http://i.imgur.com/X8uQyOu.png, where tags are also available.
2.) Try the following:
1. Install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
2. Go to Settings > Media
3. Change the Masonry Gallery image size (increase its width / height).
4. Regenerate the thumbnails by clicking the button at the bottom.
Best regards,
Andy
Hi,
What do you mean by “WooCommerce Grid”? Did you set the thumbnail size in the WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display > Product Images panel?
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi!
I’m sorry but it’s just not possible because even if you set the thumbnail’s ratio to 1:1, the actual width of the masonry item will still vary on different screen sizes because it it set via css.
.av-masonry-entry.av-landscape-img {
width: 49.80%;
}
.av-masonry-entry {
width: 24.90%;
}
Cheers!
Ismael
I started a thread on this in December, but had to put the project aside for awhile. Thought I’d better start a new thread in case the old one has been discontinued.
A site I’m working on for a client was moved from one ISP to another. The live site is fine, but the test site has problems wi all the images.
http://es1611.energysensei.com
In a previous thread you had recommended deactivating all plugins and using force regenerate thumbnails.
It seems to work on some of the media library but not all. Now, the thumbnails even for the themes and the Avia layout builder are broken.
Any suggestions?
thank you!

Hi Enfold
Can you help explaining why some of the thumbnails on the frontpage my site have changed size. It’s as if they no longer fit the square, but use a minimized version of the featured image. I have the reversed problem with ‘related posts’ on some blog posts. Both features have worked perfectly for months, and there have been no plugin additions or updates recently, (which should also affect all the thumbnails and not just some of them, I should think)
Thanks for outstanding support and a great theme.
Mette
I’m trying to figure out how to display a thumbnail image with my search results. This is kinda critical for my website. I’ve just spent a couple of hours trying to find and answer with no luck (including setting a “featured image”). Does anyone know how I can get thumbnails to display with search results on my site?
Sorry, was away in Cuba all December and getting back to this project now.
I updated WordPress, Updated to the latest version of Enfold, closed all plugins and ran ‘Regenserate thumbnails plugin. It fixed the thumbnails on the 1st page of the media list, but all beginning on the second page, all other thumbnails don’t show in the media library, or if I try to insert an image into a page.
Any other ideas on how to fix this?
I have a custom post up and running.
The post landing page and single posts make use of the page and single templates and the loop-page.
Then in wordpress I set the landing page to use the blog advanced layout with the layout set to grid.
My problem is that on the custom post landing page the excerpt is shorter than that used for the blog, date is not showing and taxonomy does not display.
On Single custom posts comment form does not display and the layout is slightly different for a single posts, the thumbnail is smaller, inspecting the code the template is slightly different but when checking the php file being used it’s the same as that used for single posts
