    In reply to: own icons in iconbox

    Hi Bettina!

    Hmm, not sure what it could be. You could try changing their font size via CSS to see if it scales correctly. Send us a link when you go live and we’ll take a look.

    Cheers!

    Hi

    I followed your instructions how to use images instead of icons in an icon box. Everything worked perfect – but…

    I designed the icons on an A4 page (fullsize), the looked o.k. on the fontello icon font generator page – they fit perfect in the red circle which appears when I activate them and are same size as the others. But when I use my icons in the enfold iconbox, they are smaller than the usual icons. How come? And what can I do?
    I work on the localserver, so I can not send you a link.

    And one other thing -> currently when you download the font you have to zip the folder by yourself.

    Regards
    Thina

    • This topic was modified 10 years, 7 months ago by Thina. Reason: sorry for bothering, my own icons are the same size now as the other. But still, is there a way to increase the size within the circle?

    Hi Rikard,

    Thanks for your help. I just found the solution to my problems. It was in the css code which i created during my time of using enfold. I’m not sure where but when I used my website without the css styling code, the problem disappeared. I just found out that most of my css edits can be replaced by edits in the theme-editor.

    Kind regards for your help!

    Some pages are generating a different style weight of font on the headings using the special “heading element “ in enfold
    Both special headings are a H5 size 45 , modern style centre same padding etc and identical settings in every way but look different, i have about 10 pages that look like they are bold when using special headings..

    This page is correct. you can see the heading title Music Production & DJ Course and word “Introduction” is nice and thin and all the other special headings used on the this page are correct
    https://www.midischool.com/diploma-4/

    But this page https://www.midischool.com/free-music-production-course/ using the special “heading element “ same font weight size and H5 tag it looks like its bold,

    it is strange as it just some pages that are wrong they should all look like the thinner font on https://www.midischool.com/diploma-4/

    it is the same in safari and chrome on all the iMacs i have tried it on, but is fine on my laptop (weird!!) , they are all the same and correct though (thin) when I’m logged into wordpress and viewing the pages too, any ideas??

    Not logged into word press: and wrong

    Logged into wordpress correct:

    Whats even stranger is that i have deleted a page and rebuilt it and its now using the bold look, i also saved a correct page as a template and used that in a new page and that stays correct, (thin) If i even add a brand new page with only a special heading on it set the same settings and nothing else on the page at all, it looks bold! Nothing has changed no new plugins etc, just random pages and new pages that don’t work on special headings…

    Hey!

    By default, font size is determined by the email client, there are some ways to override this (with inline style tag or table tags) but i don’t think that’s doable with how the message is built in the Enfold form, it would be easier to use a third-party solution like CF7.

    Best regards,
    Josue

    Hello !

    This page:

    http://devprova.corsidiballoonline.com/video-corsi-2/video-corsi-di-tango/offerta-tango-argentino/

    top in the center you can see how I copied and pasted the code I’ve written. I see everything in bold here …

    when I increase the font size turns everything into bold …

    Thank you very much for your support

    #497642

    Hey!

    the font style (italic) is gone but the font style still looks different? adjust the code as needed by yourself. For example add font-size if you need it:

    .wp-caption-text, #top .wp-caption .wp-caption-dd {
    font-style: normal;
    font-size: 16px;
    }

    Use this code for your bold text:

    .avia_message_box_content {
    font-weight: 100;
    }

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Andy

    Hi buddies and thanks for very nice them Enfold!
    after upgrading to new version of Enfold my menu changed and I cant fix it with any code!!! my problems are:
    1- in some screen my main menu just wrapped in two line what i dont want!
    2- my submenu box is too big and some times go out of screen!
    3- in previous version main menu and submenu font changed together but now I just can change the main menu font and it’s not affected to submenu items.
    4- the white space after sub menu items are too much!
    I tried many codes but one item is become good and another bad!
    for making you clear please take a look to my website menu (no.1 in private), and what I want exactly is in website no.2 !!!
    please let me know how can I make a menu and sub menu exactly same as no.2 website (font, size, style every thing’s is good)

    Sorry for long story but I really confused!

    It seems to have magically resolved itself. I have no idea why it wasn’t working but it was like all the WYSIWYG options were not selectable – i.e. they would not allow me to use the dropdown to select a font size or header size or whatever. So I think this is fixed now through nothing I have done. So you can close this ticket. Thx.

    #497087

    Hey!

    you can control font size in promo box with this code in Quick CSS field:

    .avia-promocontent p {
    font-size: 16px;
    }

    Cheers!

    Hi,

    @agme
    , please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold–>General Styling:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    h1 {
        font-size: 26px;
    }
    }

    @JVW234
    , I couldn’t see anything cutting off or the word Veranstaltungen on you home page, on what page can we see the problem?

    Hi Elliott

    Sorry about this. I have only asked for help twice in 2 years since using Enfold and building many sites. I am not a developer so I don’t have much coding experience. It also seems I am in a time zone with about 12 hours difference to you so hence the response delays.

    I have now fixed (at least temporarily) the alignment of the “Book Online” button with the phone number in the small bar above the menu. I don’t think that what I have done this is the correct the way to do it but I have changed the Phone Number and small info text to below. The small change I made is to change the position for the button to ‘none’. I am not sure if that is OK or not but it has fixed the vertical alignment (at least temporarily).

    1300 366 284 | [av_button label='Book Online' link='page,149' link_target='' size='small' position='none' icon_select='yes' icon='ue84e' font='entypo-fontello' color='custom' custom_bg='#48d130' custom_font='#ffffff']

    The weird things is that the order I use to change the Phone Number or the CSS affects the result. E.g. if I change the CSS first then change the Phone Number in Header/Extra Elements then the alignment of the phone number and button is fine in the phone area. But if I make any change to the custom CSS after saving the content in the Header/Extra Elements phone area then the alignment of the phone number and button get messed up. Can you please confirm if there is a right or better way to do this?

    Issue with alignment of extra elements in phone area

    I also changed the padding in the css code you gave me to the following with 2px for above and below. The button was looking too thin and cramped with 0. This css code changes the breadcrumb. By using 2px for above and below the breadcrumb still looks OK and the button is a bit better.

    .phone-info .avia-button, .phone-info .avia_button { padding: 2px 10px !important; }

    But, what I don’t understand is why this phone.info css affects the breadcrumb.

    Thanks again. Mark

    Hi Dake,
    Is it possible to change the text font size for the e-mail generated with the enfold contact form?
    I only want that the font size is bigger than now and that for all outgoing e-mails.

    Hi!

    @sailboat

    I get a 404 when trying to log into your website.

    @Justin

    There seems to be a conflict with the advanced layout styling.

    Please try using a special heading with the H2 style instead of a text block.

    If that doesn’t work, please insert the below css to globally set all H2 styling:

    h2 {
    	font-size: 42px !important;
    }

    Best regards,

    I have three buttons on the homepage with the following shortcode and only one button works on mobile. The other two are not clickable.
    Buttons are “Book a Session”, “Contact us” and ‘Travel with Us” – only travel button works.
    Could you please shed some light on how to troubleshoot this issue?

    Mobile devices I have tried: Chrome on Android, Chrome on iPad, and Safari on iPad

    Shortcode: [av_button label='Book a Session' link='http://google.com/' link_target=' size='x-large' position='center' icon_select='yes' icon_hover='aviaTBaviaTBicon_hover' icon='ue807' font='entypo-fontello' color='theme-color' custom_bg='#444444' custom_font='#ffffff']

    Hey!

    In order to apply css, please navigate to the general styling section of your theme options. After scrolling to the bottom of that section, you will see your custom css section.

    If you provide us with a link to your website (specifically the page with the promo box) we can provide you with the css necessary to change the font family and size.

    Cheers!

    I wanted to have the same font in the same size everywhere – but in the subtitles it is italic, in the promo box the size is smaller etc. I want the same font in the same size, not italic, everywhere. What can I do?

    Few questions:
    1. I want to change my header font (not heading font) to Montserrat Bold.
    2. How can I control head font (main menu) size and make it bold as well?
    3. Can I adjust the space in-between i.e. space between home and about us? how?
    4. Is there a way I can keep social media icon underneath right aligned the main menu?
    5. Can I control position of this yellow line under HOME
    For Example I want to achieve attached

    Thanks

    Hey!

    @esemmel

    The color section text doesn’t get cut off on my Nexus 4, but a specific media query can be used to adjust the font size once it reaches a certain width.

    If you have a website up at the moment, we could provide you with specific css for your color section.

    @wholesomepatisserie

    Once we have a link to your website we can also set up a similar media query.

    Cheers!

    Hi. I have noticed that in some cases, the headline text doesn’t display correctly on small mobile screens (iphone 5).

    On the demo’s for instance, here is an example. This page:
    http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-business-flat/portfolio-item/project-2-7/

    Reducing the browser width on a laptop doesn’t show the true issue. I have uploaded a screenshot of it on my iphone below.

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2Z4IVSIL_e3YkdUUWtWcFdsdVJGaXpPTHcwdmRtMFlzU0tF/view?usp=sharing

    Is there a way to put the text inside a responsive container so it will reduce correctly? Or does the font size just have to manually be reduced using trial and error to a size where it will fit (as seems to be the case)?

    #495289
