    In reply to: Change icon list font

    This code works globally:

    #top .iconlist_title {
    font-weight: 100;
    font-size: 14px;
    text-transform: none;
    }

    But when i use this nothing changes on that page (26876)

    #top.page-id-26876 .iconlist_title {
    font-weight: 100;
    font-size: 14px;
    text-transform: none;
    }

    —————————————————————————-

    Can we also add a colour change to that code?

    Hi

    I have tried this code in the child stylesheet and it doesnt work for me …

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .responsive #top .logo {
      width: 60% !important;
    }
    }

    Please take a look http://screencast.com/t/uENwHkKOowcp

    I have also used this code in my child stylesheet to shrink the font on the image caption, but that doesn’t work either …

    @media only screen and (max-width: 768px) {
    h2.avia-caption-title {
        font-size: 10px!important;
    }
    .avia-caption-content {
        font-size: 8px!important;
    }
    #top .avia-slideshow-button.avia-color-light {
        padding: 7px 10px;
    }}

    Hey!

    Use the following code:

    #top .iconlist_title {
        font-weight: 100;
        font-size: 14px;
        text-transform: none;
    }

    On a specific page:

    #top.page-id-2 .iconlist_title {
        font-weight: 100;
        font-size: 14px;
        text-transform: none;
    }

    Hi,

    Thank you so much!!! That helped a lot! :-)

    I had to style it like this:

    .header-scrolled .widget {
    top: 23px !important;
    }

    .header-scrolled .widget img {
    height: auto !important;
    width: 50% !important;
    }

    #header .widget {
    left: 50%;
    padding-top: 0;
    position: absolute;
    top: 45px;
    transform: translate(-50%);
    }

    .html_header_top.html_logo_center .logo { left: 250px; }

    ———————–

    I think it’s because I also have enlarged the social icons with this CSS:

    #top .social_bookmarks li a {
    width: 40px;
    line-height: 32px;
    min-height: 40px;
    font-size: 30px;
    }

    #top .social_bookmarks li {
    height: 100%;
    width: 40px;
    }

    So I added this CSS:

    .header-scrolled .social_bookmarks {
    top: 23px !important;
    }

    The only thing now, is the header height on tablet in landscape mode – it doesn’t shrink on scroll. Is there a way to fix that?

    Hi!
    I would like to modify some settings in “Posts”, like removing the icon, set the date in other language, modify the size of the font (<p> in blog is bigger than in page), and check if it is possible to add a Place besides the date.
    but I couldn’t find where to do it

    would be great if you can give me some guide to find those settings or some quick css code!
    thank you in advance!!

    Hi!

    Please remove this code:

    div#header_main_alternate.container_wrap {
        box-sizing: border-box !important;
        color: rgb(53, 49, 42) !important;
        display: block !important;
        font-family: Lato !important;
        font-size: 13px !important;
        font-weight: normal !important;
        text-align: left !important;
        width: 1140px !important;
    }

    You can start with this:

    div#header_main_alternate.container_wrap {
        background-color: black;
        width: 100% !important;
        margin: 0 !important;
    }

    .html_header_top.html_bottom_nav_header .main_menu ul:first-child li, .html_header_top.html_bottom_nav_header .main_menu ul:first-child li a {
        height: 51px;
        line-height: 51px;
    }

    Adjust the values as you like.

    In reply to: Quick CSS questions

    perhaps it is because you lost a semicolon:

    #top .av_header_glassy.av_header_transparency .header_bg {
    background-color: #86817e;
    opacity: 0.7 !important;
    }

    on question 2 – maybe there is a more specific css that overrides your css.
    and here is an extra semicolon

    body { font-size: 14px; line-height: 200% !important;}

    Topic: Quick CSS questions

    in forum Enfold

    Good afternoon. I wonder if you may be able to help me with a couple of things please.

    I am using Enfold for yet another client (using Enfold Child theme) and am having a couple of problems whereby the code within quick CSS does not seem to reflect on the website.

    Firstly, I have set the header on the homepage to be Transparent & Glassy and have included the following code in quick CSS

    #top .av_header_glassy.av_header_transparency .header_bg {
    background-color: #86817e
    opacity: 0.7 !important;
    }

    However the theme does not seem to be reflecting the colour or opacity. I used the same code on another website and that worked ok.

    Secondly, I am trying to increase the line height within text boxes and have added the following code, however, the only thing it increases line height in is the blog feed excerpt not within text boxes.

    body { font-size: 14px; line-height: 200%; !important;}

    I hope it all makes sense. The website it relates is below.

    In reply to: Increase icon box icon

    Tried this code but never worked:

    .iconbox_top .iconbox_icon { font-size: 50px!important; height: 90px; width: 90px; line-height: 84px; top: -64px; }
    .iconbox .iconbox_content .iconbox_content_title { margin: 30px 0 16px 0; }
    .iconbox_top .iconbox_content { margin-top: 80px; }

    Hi cogson!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    You can try something like this in the Quick CSS field:

    .news-thumb:before {
        content: '\E827';
        font-family: 'entypo-fontello';
        font-size: 16px;
        top: 6px;
        left: 6px;
        position: relative;
    }

    A screenshot will help.

    In reply to: Custom Tabs in sidebar

    Hi,

    You have opacity:0 applied to them, that’s why they are not showing. From your custom.css:

    .latest-sidebar input[type=radio ]:not(old) {
        width: 2em;
        margin: 0;
        padding: 0;
        font-size: 1em;
        opacity: 0;
    }

    I have a few questions regarding the blog setup.
    1. What “login” extension are you using on this site? I would to use the same one for posters to login to prior to posting.
    2. I would like to Increase the Font Size and Font Color of the “Blog Categories” how can I do that?
    3. How can I change the order that the Categories display in. Also I have parent and child categories, I would like it to display similar on the front end. How can I do that?
    4. I would like my blog pages to display the “blog topic” for some reason my page does not display the topic
    5. I would like to display a user login and posting text area, so registerd users can leave comments or open new discussions, similar to how you have your support page setup. How can I do that?
    6. How do I make it so that when someone opens a new string the select the category it is related to?
    7. I would like the heading I set up in “advanced Layout editor” to display on the posting page.

    Thank You in advance

    In reply to: Help with my design

    Is it possible to choose from a greater selection of fonts? The choice seems quite limited. Also when changing the text for say the main body area where would like the header to be a larger font size than the text below it I am struggle to do this.

    On the sidebar below my main links where I have got philosophy of care, dementia care, our staff, latest news etc I would like to place 2 pictures with links to existing pages on my site. I have put links to the pictures in the private content area. Using the widgets there is no option to do this with the closest option being the advertising widget. With that the max picture size is 125 * 125 which is too small for what I want.

    One more question for now. At the very top of the site where I have put phone numbers to Rickmansworth and Northwood is it possible to have this text on different lines as opposed to both numbers being on the same line?

    Thanks for all your help

    Hey!

    Can you please try using this code as well

    .iconbox_icon {
        font-size: 40px !important;
    }

    If that too does not work, please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately.

    Hey richardelectrix!

    Are you trying to change the size of the icon? If so then try this out.

    .iconbox_icon::before {
        font-size: 40px !important;
    }

    I have tried this code as suggested elsewhere but it makes no difference to the size of the Icon Lists.

    .avia-icon-list .iconlist_icon {
    height: 100px;
    width: 100px;
    line-height: 40px;
    }

    .iconlist-char {
    font-size: 60px;
    }

    Does anyone know where I am going wrong?

    Hi, in Safari all text seems to flash to a bold version. It seems to go through normal weight, slightly bolder, bold and then back to normal and then the cycle repeats.

    Also, how can I change the size of an icon on an Icon Box. I’ve tried everything I can think of with no luck.

    My site is installed locally so I can’t easily let you see it I’m afraid.

    Thanks,
    John

    Hey!

    Switch it to this.

    .social_bookmarks::before {
        content: "Volgen:";
        position: relative;
        top: 5px;
        display: inline;
        float: left;
        font-size: 11px;
        font-weight: bold;
    }

    Hi!

    I implemented this code inside of your Quick CSS field:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 1200px) {
        #top #header .av-main-nav > li > a {
            font-size: 14px !important;
        }
    }

    An !important was missing in it. Please review your website now.

    Cheers!
    Andy

    #509843

    Hey!

    Please add the code suggested above inside the css media query.. The final code should be like this:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .responsive #top #wrap_all .av-flex-cells .av_one_fourth {
        padding-left: 0% !important;
        padding-right: 0% !important;
        width: 50%;
        float: left;
    }

    .av-image-caption-overlay-center { font-size: 14px !important; }
    }

    Cheers!

    Hello,

    for my new project I need the contenct element Icon-List.
    So I have apply the icon list an that is ok – but I need a other style of the fonts.
    I already changed the color of the fonts but I also need a other font size for the title AND for the content.
    Where can I change this – is there somwhere in the css a opportunity to do this?

    Thanks a lot
    Flo

    #509629

    I did as you instructed however it is not working. I want my font size when the screen is at its largest to be 18 point black font. Then when i shrink the screen I would like the font to reduce so as to not get overlapped by the logo.

    With the css you had me add. It reduces the font size when the screen is at its largest, and turns the font grey. Then when I reduce the screen size the font size increases. Give it a try. Start with the screen large, and slowly shrink the screen you will see what I mean.
