Many thanks, this significantly improved the situation. The problem is that now the font is a bit small on large screens – from css I understand that the font size is determined in advance. So it cannot be made responsive, i.e. if the container is too small the size adapts (and only in the containers where this is necessary)?

By the way, I had to paste it into custom.css, not in Quick CSS.

It worked perfectly, but when scaling down to mobile, I’ve added in a gray background just to see what it’s doing and I’m trying to reduce the height of the widget block – I set it to 75 (half of what it is on desktop), but it’s not taking effect. Of course, I could simply hide the gray background and it’s sitting perfectly with some tweaking to the css, but I’d like to know how to target that gray area to make it a smaller height. Here’s what I have but the max-height is not working.

I’d like to know how to target that gray to make it 75 or something close to that :)

Hi,

I love the Enfold theme, but there is one area where I always end up spending way too much time on and that is Font size and padding management for mobile devices. Every time I build a website using Enfold, I am always frustrated by how much time I spend to have the website looking just right on mobile. Usually, fonts and padding of elements are too big for mobile.

I know that you can control how each individual special heading looks on mobile, but too me it makes no sense to manage H1 individually for each page. Yes, I usually have to dig into the CSS and enter my own media display rules for each screen size, and that takes time. Especially with padding issues.

What I am suggesting is having a styling section just for mobile, and then include the most popular devices so that a web designer/developer can just go to that screen and start formatting:

iPhone X, 8, 6
– H1 font size x, line-height x, bottom-margin x
– H2 font size x, line height x bottom-margin x
– section padding: x px

iPad
– H1 font size x, line-height x, bottom-margin x
– H2 font size x, line height x bottom-margin x
– section padding: x px

I truly believe that adding such a feature would make the Enfold theme even better and more user-friendly

To have the title of all 3 slides the same, Please try this code in the General Styling > Quick CSS field or in the WordPress > Customize > Additional CSS field:

When I look at your site the H3 has a inline style font size 36px:

which is bigger that the stlysheet style for the H1, which is 24px:

So your css above is working, perhaps it’s the H3 you which to change?

I used the advice in the support forum to change the overlay icons to a plus sign, with this

However,

a) galleries (large image, rest only visible in light-box) have a much smaller overlay icon size than images. How to make them the same?

b) If there is an gallery in 1/5 col, the overlay colour set in advanced styling is not applied nor is the overlay icon displayed. For an image it is. If I change the col to 1/4, both work.

Please advise how to fix this problem.

Also,the icon size on the 1/5 col images or galleries is too big. How do I make it smaller for just those elements in the page only, as on other images in 1/2 col, on the same page, the icon size is OK as it is in the code above.
